Ordered a pair of Brooks running shoes late Sunday night. Email confirming order Monday, arrived Thursday morning by Royal mail. Great service, reasonably priced.

I understand retail staff are under a lot of stress from long hours and poor wages having worked in the sector. However, the manager at your Glasgow store is obnoxious and arrogant. I appreciate the need for COVID guidelines. That isn’t the issue. So after waiting for over 70 minutes and seeing some customers take 45 minutes to pick a shoe. My mother and I entered the store, prior to which the manager came out and stated that me forgetting socks and going back to get a pair would be a life lesson for the future (thanks for the words of wisdom). After trying shoes for 10 mins he went and commented to my mother to hurry me up. He then approached me and the lovely staff member who was helping me and said “don’t dilly dally, hurry up and pick a pair, choose a pair and stick with it”. What right does the manager have to teach me “life lessons” also harrass my mother and rush me? When some other customers took 45 minutes to choose a pair as we stood and waited outside? Inexcusable and made my experience distasteful. When you visit a specialist shop you expect to receive good advice and customer service something the manager wouldn’t know about. At least the trainers I bought are comfortable, even if the experience was not.

Appalling manner from rude and arrogant manager.I’m all for supporting local shops in these difficult times but this guy really does need to lose the attitude or be prepared to lose customers. Interesting that the satisfied customers are mostly online!

Extremely disappointing service. I purchased a pair of Nike shorts in a medium size, sure enough all the packaging and labels said medium, so already having Nike shorts I duly removed the labels and put them on to go for a run. OK, in hindsight I should have checked the label inside the shorts, but who does that? Unfortunately as soon as I put them on something was wrong and sure enough they’re a large! I accept this isn’t the the vendors fault but not responding to my emails regarding the problem is! Not even a sorry but we can’t help, just silence. Oh, well won’t bother buying anything from them again.

Hi, I’m pleased with the purchase but it was supposed to arrive Thursday but did not arrive until Saturday. I paid for delivery so it would arrive earlier than Saturday because I needed the energy gel for a sports event. If I’d have chosen Saturday the delivery was free.
