Dealing with this company has been a pleasure from start to finish. From the initial contact from Matt, the Managing Director, then surveyor Brian and finally most importantly their engineer Darren, they have been professional, friendly and extremely helpful. Full explanation along the way of the procedures, costs and time scale. The final installation by Darren was the icing on the cake, arrived early, friendly and professional, explained exactly what would happen, extremely neat and tidy work, old boiler and all rubbish removed. Not forgetting their electrician who finished off and fitted the remote thermostat controls! Very happy indeed and many thanks. Highly recommended.

I have recently had a complete new central heating system and new boiler installed by Smart Energy. The work was completed in 2 days,and I have to say I am very happy with the work carried out. It was a big job but I had very little mess. I would certainly recommend Smart Energy.

Beware of both Smart Energy and Act in Energy, the latter being a council funded grant organisation. I had loft insulation fitted through Act on Energy by Smart Energy. After just a year I have mould on the bedroom, bathroom and landing ceilings. Paint peeling on he ceilings in the bedroom and landing. Having spent months complaining to Act on energy and been told they would get it sorted out and having put a poor review on trust pilot and been told by Smart Energy I had just 1 month only to raise any issues, which is ridiculous as it takes months for damage on this scale to materialise. And having had the work done inspected independently, and told there has been no ventilation left by the fitters Smart Energy. AoE now say they are not responsible for the damage to my home!! Smart energy are not prepared to anything because it didn't happen within a few days, of course it didn't. Please beware of both Smart energy and Act on Energy as having organised the work to be done they take no responsibility when they send in cowboys. I was advised by Smart in my previous review. If you are happy to correct the work done and take responsibility for it and the damage its done to my property please email so I can respond. You have my email address on your records. I have been in touch with act on energy since the first day mould started to appear, months ago. As they employed you not me I felt it right to inform them if the issues. I would be happy to get the job done properly. NB, The comment about no condensation issues or ventilation issues is completely untrue. I am still waiting for the report regarding the issues John found and the pics he took, as promised over a week ago. The more contact I have with this company the more they say one thing privately and another in a public post. Good job I recorded the conversation while they were here. Really disgusted with the misinformation, lack of responsibility for damage caused. If you are vulnerable, as I am, please be very careful. You could be left like me with 3 rooms to redecorate and a loft that needs a good job doing before it causes more damage.

We had under floor insulation fitted by Zac and his team alongside a boiler and 2 additional radiators fitted by Darren. All of the members of the team that carried out our work are knowledgeable, tidy, polite, trustworthy, hard working people. Would definitely recommend this company and this group of staff.

Excellent service from the whole team from start to finish. Friendly and effective communications from all on the survey and installation. New gas boiler installed and system flushed without problems. Fitter and electrician performed a very professional service, ensuring that it was Covid safe at all times and taking care to also protect carpets and leaving everything clean and tidy. System now works brilliantly and the house is now nice and warm. Many thanks.

What a fantastic service! Zak, Jody & Jamie arrived within 24 hours of me having notified the company of an issue. They took such incredible care, laying a protective film and dust blankets, as well as maintaining strict Covid secure practice. They fixed the problem quickly, supplied materials, as well as replacing a spotlight in the process, (completely above and beyond) they really couldn't have been anymore helpful. An incredibly happy customer - I'd recommend them highly!!!

Having needed a new boiler for a few years we finally took the plunge this year and went through smart energy with government funding. We were very apprehensive to start with as having read reviews for other companies and the bad experiences of others. We read smart energy reviews and decided to go with them. We certainly shouldn't have worried. From the very first phone call they were very professional and reassuring. The surveyor was extremely professional and courteous. The price they quoted was excellent. The gas fitter who carried out the second survey was very thorough and took his time to explain and reassure us. All of the office staff were extremely helpful and polite and again reassuring. The fitting date came and the delivery company that bought all the items needed were great. The guys who arrived to fit the boiler etc were fantastic. They were courteous, polite, informative and very respectful of our property. They cleaned up after themselves both inside and out did a great job and left everything as they found it. We cannot recommend this company enough. I wouldn't hesitate to have them back to our property and from our personal experience we would say to anyone having any doubts to contact these guys and talk to them and hopefully you'll be as reassured as we were.

We recently got a new boiler fitted and the service we received has been 5 stars throughout the whole process. All the staff members we’ve dealt with have always been friendly and professional, turning up on time, returning phone calls when they say they will and replying to and queries in a timely fashion. The job was done to a very high standard and was left clean and tidy afterwards. Everything just ran very efficiently and smoothly and I would 100% recommend Smart Energy, they made everything very easy for us.

Thorough throughout the whole process from initial contact to survey and completion.
