I thought that this trip was a great opportunity to learn about not just our American history but learn more stuff on the holocaust or African Americans. All the monuments were so cool and so glad we could fit so much in, in the little time we had. A truly memorable experience.

The guide was wonderful! She made things enjoyable. I thought the itinerary was a little too much at times however. Leaving the hotel at 8am and not returning until 8pm was exhausting.

I liked going to all of the monuments. It was very educational, and I learned so much more than I ever thought I would.

Upon arriving in DC, our liaison that was to meet us at airport flat-out forgot about it. Please do not use Pink Taco again for a meal option - it took them nearly 2 hrs to feed us. Our guide was very informative- had great anecdotal nuggets for the students, but could have exercised a bit more patience with the kids. Vern at the hotel was the most pleasant man I’ve ever met.

This experience was amazing! It was so wonderful to experience D.C. through World Strides. Everything was planned out very well from the schedule to places to eat! The only notes I have, as a school staff member and chaperone is that being dropped off at Food Courts for lunch was a bit difficult because of the amount of people in them. Other than that, the kids had a blast, the hotels were nice, everything was well organized. Bonnie was our tour guide and she was great!!

I felt rushed going through many of the sites visited. In the future, I would like to visit fewer sites and be able to spend more time exploring them.

WorldStrides helped me plan a wonderful trip for my 7th grade students. We have used this company for MANY years. Once on the trip, the tour guide, on-site coordinator, and driver made sure everything flowed smoothly! You cannot ask for a better company to take care of your trip.

Trip was very well organized, unfortunately the bus's bathroom door was broke from the beginning which ultimately lead to us having to pry the door open for an emergency.

Everything about the trip was fantastic. There was so much packed into four days. Only downside was not getting to the hotel until 2am on the first day. That is way too late for kids to go to bed to be up and ready to go 5 hours later. Overall, very happy with the communication, organization, and agenda. Would 100% recommend to anyone thinking about sending their child.

My tour guide, Kurt was wonderful! He's knowledgeable about DC and history in general. Roy, the other tour guide on bus 2 was not very good. He needs more training. The hotel was good, David was great! The dinner cruise was a waste of money. It was crowded, tables and chairs were missing, not very clean, and the food was not very good. Yankee buses did a great job!!

The trip was outstanding. As a family, we loved that everything you could think of was baked into the cost of the trip, so we had zero worries. We appreciated that we didn't have to worry if our daughter would run out of food money, for example. The only thing we heard was that it the itinerary seemed a bit over-booked. We have zero problems with the early mornings and later nights. But there were a few places that she said felt very rushed because of time constraints. She said it was almost as if -- why do it at all if we have no time to spend here. The spy museum was one place, for example. And I think she was disappointed that they couldn't visit Mount Vernon...but I think it was under construction or something. :) Not anyone's fault! Thank you for the trip of a lifetime!

We had a great tour guide for our trip to DC. Stephanie kept the kids engaged and even had a good way of relating to middle schoolers. She made history fun. The hotel accommodations were nice and they kept the breakfast area well stocked. It was a bummer we couldn’t get a tour of the Capitol or see the 911 memorial at the Pentagon. My only big complaint is that the bathroom door handle on our bus broke on the first day, the bus driver knew about it and it was not fixed or the bus replaced. Our bus also suffered a broken window on day 3 and it was scary watching the outside layer of safety glass continue to crack and fall off onto the road the rest of the trip. There was plenty of time to get a replacement bus but the driver, Penelope, didn’t. The world strides leader at the hotel was also shocked a new bus was not secured. There are two layers of glass for a reason so I was worried about safety when one layer was broken and falling off. The bus company used was National Trails. I would not recommend using them in the future.

Accommodations were awful. Had to move three times before getting a room that was ok to stay in.

I enjoyed seeing all the sites in Washington DC. My favorite places were the US Capitol and the Gettysburg Reenactment. The hotel was so nice, I wish we could have stayed longer.

Mr. Rick Jasper is such an awesome guide! He is so knowledgeable and helpful. The children and adults remain engaged the whole trip. We were definitely in good hands with World Strides! Highly recommended!
