United States | 21 October 2024it wasnt perfect but the host at the hotel was good, the tour guy was good, the bus driver needed some help. our bur broke down and we missed a day. two things if i ran this business. 1) make sure bus drivers take opportunity to fill gas tanks when they have down time. we had to stop for 40 minutes to fill tanks on the way home and didnt get back until 3 in the am. 2) upgrade to waze app and dont let drivers use their own outdated gps machines. the bus was in bad shape, every bump was felt terribly on everyone. besides those few things we had a great time and everything outside the unexpected events was planned out well. would recommend to others. thank you and hope this info reaches the right person :)

United States | 20 October 2024The tours were very rushed. Our group was always the last group to start our tours, and we didn’t get to experience any of the things that other groups got to experience. We all felt like we got the end of the stick.

United States | 18 October 2024First and foremost our tour guide Javier was extraordinary. Helpful above and beyond, knowledgeable, authentic, enthusiastic, good sense of humor, caring and considerate. While the pace of activities was challenging, I wouldn't have wanted to miss anything that we saw or had the opportunity to partake of. Pairing this wonderful trip with my visit to Portugal some 20 years ago, I am now officially in love with the Iberian Peninsula. That said, our arrival at the B&B hotel in Bilbao left those of us who had opted for a double room shared with another traveler quite surprised to find that instead of two adult sized beds, which is the definition of a double room, there was one large (king or queen sized) adult bed and a child bed under the window that consisted of an approximately 4 inch thick short and otherwise miserably uncomfortable mattress plopped on top of a wooden frame. While this configuration may work well for a family consisting of two adults who are fond enough of one another to share a bed and their child, it was beyond unsatisfactory for a room being shared by two unrelated adults who are merely traveling together along with their group of friends. After some amount of intervention, this situation was remedied by providing a separate room for one of the two individuals who had been placed in the above noted unfortunate situation. The tour schedule was packed during the days and having at least the possibility of getting a reasonable amount of sleep was/is crucial. Again, the situation was remedied; however, it could have been avoided had the personnel in charge of making reservations taken the extra step of being and getting clear about the reasonable expectations of what constitutes a double room.

United States | 18 October 2024Gus was phenomenal and the kids loved him! I think there was too much waiting at the fords theatre, kids got board and was not enough to see. The kids would have loved more time at the army museum and I would have liked more time at the holocaust museum. Otherwise no complaints. So much to see and it was amazing.

United States | 18 October 2024Our tour guide Bradley was excellent! He was very knowledgeable and it was apparent that he truly had a passion for teaching. I really appreciated the way that he interacted with the kids and made it relatable for them. We loved our bus driver Sandy as well. She skillfully navigated the busy streets and always welcomed us back on the bus with a smile. The hotel accommodations were very nice and clean. The service was friendly and the breakfast served was a great way to start the day. I also appreciated having a night guard to keep watch over the kids so the adults could get some rest too.

United States | 18 October 2024My daughter was very happy with the trip. Thought too much time was spent shuttling around vs seeing the locations. Late night arrivals were far different than expected: 02:00 arrival at DC hotel, and a transfer close to 01:00 on the return.

United States | 18 October 2024The food was great and we saw a lot of really great things in a short amount of time. Our tour guide Suzie was so kind and informative. I learned a lot!

United States | 18 October 2024Many of the tours seemed rushed and there was not enough time at many of the places (Air and space museum, Lincoln Memorial area, Monticello). McDonalds dinner on Saturday night was a nightmare. They had each person/kid come up and make an order and had no organization on how to hand out the food after the orders were taken. Flights on Monday out of DC back to Chicago were way too late, and then were delayed. The kids got home after 1 am and had to go to school on Tuesday.
