This Rukka dog coat is expensive, but definitely worth the money so far. I have an elderly dog with thick fur. She doesn’t like wearing coats, but I didn’t want her to get cold and wet, due to her age. This coat dud a great job of keeping her dry, and is designed to fit securely, but loosely, so she didn’t feel as restricted. The material is very light and flexible, and it’s handy you can pack it away in the little sack provided. Haven’t tested in heavy rain yet, but I think it will hold up. Note: when first fitting, I thought it was too big, as the leg flaps are long, and the elastic leg straps quite loose. But actually out and about, I realised this contributed to the better coverage, and to the flexibility. Well worth the money
