I had a very professional and speedy service. Once paper works was complete I had the funds in my account within a few hours. All the important stuff was discussed with me over a phone call so it was a bit more of a personal touch. All and all it was an excellent experience.

One case had been declined by 4 lenders but Merchant Money eventually approved it and funds were drawn down much to the delight of my client. I was so impressed with Merchant Money's approach and willingness to look at factors behind the figures that often make the difference between a case being accepted or declined. I found them very flexible, accommodating and refreshing in their approach. Once the loans were agreed they were also drawn down very quickly. In both cases my clients were delighted.

Currently have an agreement with them. They have been kind enough to offer another arrangement. With 3 directors, communication with one can be tricky. They did not believe my attempts and stated in an email: "am lead to believe you have not attempted to call him and purposely misleading us." This is a serious accusation about myself and am deeply disappointed from whom I thought was a reputable lender and great until now. I provided a video as evidence, but I shouldn't have to do this. It is a serious defamation of my character considering I run multiple businesses and seriously think businesses should think twice before using these now after my experience.

This is the worst Loan company ever. It's best to avoid them and take your business elsewhere. I missed one direct debit when I was on holiday and they promptly issued a small claim against me and my company. I called them to explain the situation and offered to pay by direct debit over the phone. They would not take debit card payments. The only payment methods available to them were bank transfers or another direct debit. I explained to them that I can make the payment over the phone as it was easier but my explanation fell on deaf ears. I can't believe that in this day and age a loan company has no facility to accept payments over the phone. I then managed to get the bank transfer done and they still proceeded to file the small claims. There is no customer care at all. Horrible customer service. Best avoided. Update The only communication I ever received were email notifications of failed DD payments. I was on holiday and therefore not checking my emails.The emails have no information on how I could make an alternative payment, not even a phone number. The missed payment was on 1 Jan and 3 weeks later you issued a court claim. Replay my conversation with your assistant again and you will note that you confirmed that you never attempted to call me at all. In her own words, you are not obliged to call me. I had to 2 further emails before I could get confirmation that the court claim will be cancelled.

Merchant Money are incredibly professional and straightforward to deal with. Decision making is speedy. Excellent all round.
