United Kingdom | 03 November 2022An advert for this company under the name ‘Child Anxiety Recovery’ popped up on my Facebook feed. As a parent whose child has recovered from debilitating anxiety through work with a qualified and regulated family therapist I was concerned by Young Vibes’ aggressive marketing approach aimed at very vulnerable families - I know what it’s like to be desperate to help your child. So I politely asked what their qualifications and regulatory body were. I initially had a polite but very incomplete answer. When I asked more and explained my concerns comments were suddenly switched off, and then the ad disappeared. More alarm bells went off. I since learn this company has been marketing itself under very many different names. If you are considering using this company I urge you to look up the BBC radio 4 (File on 4) episode entitled ‘Mental Health Profiteers’ and listen to it before you make any decision. Sam and Martin Robins and their business practices are featured in it. I believe they say they were unfairly represented but I urge you to listen (or read the transcript, also available online from the BBC) and make up your own minds. I also wish you success in helping your child. It was true for us that we needed to change along side our child but private help from qualified professionals is out there for no more than this company charges. Genuine professionals don’t need aggressive online marketing tactics to find clients.

United Kingdom | 03 October 2022Like so many on here we were at the end of our tether. CAMHS, psychologists, drugs - been there, tried them all. We had a bright, vibrant, fun loving daughter who, after a significant trigger incident in her life had become withdrawn, depressed, resorted to self harm and had talked about ending her life. Sam and team are unconventional, that’s true but that doesn’t mean that they don’t care and don’t get results. Isaac Newton was unconventional, Marie Curie was unconventional, the first doctors, the first scientists - all unconventional. Pioneers often are. It is natural to be sceptical of what we don’t understand but that doesn’t mean it isn’t the right thing to do or that it won’t work. With the guidance, help and I’d go as far as to say, love from the team at Peaky Parents, my daughter recovered to smash her GCSE’s out of the park and has just celebrated being 1 year free from self harm. She is most definitely “back in the room!” Can’t thank Sam & the team enough. I will always be grateful. Neil & Suze

United Kingdom | 27 September 2022Just want to say that this program and team offer excellent support and have greatly helped our family. Not just our son who suffers from anxiety but actually all of us have found it to be extremely informative and very useful.

United Kingdom | 27 September 2022This ground breaking anxiety programme is truly amazing. Samantha and her team are incredibly knowledgeable, supportive and effective. We are 8 weeks in and have a 12 year old son, who although has not yet completely recovered and we still have work to do, is no longer self harming. He is sleeping through the night, enjoying being with his friends and is happy back at school, for the first time since Covid. Our elder son who is 14 and had been diagnosed with ADHD, is a different person. Just by being in a different home environment and by having a basic understanding that his condition is caused by anxiety, is going from strength to strength. The course concept is very simple and you will soon realise that there are many many children (and adults) out there who are desperately unhappy and / or on medication, but who are simply anxious and could easily be well and happy again, if they had the right tools. As a family, the program is hard work and will take a lot of time, effort, soul searching and radical acceptance of a need to change. But if you are reading this, be assured that there are no other options out there that will help. We had spent huge amounts of money and time, trying to help our son (actually both our sons!) and find answers, with absolutely no improvement. Please sign up; do the program wholeheartedly, live it, embrace it, breath it, keep the faith, and your child and family will be happy again. I cannot thank Samantha and her team enough, we are so grateful we found them and I sincerely hope that they get the recognition and success that they deserve.

United Kingdom | 18 September 2022We are almost at the end of this incredible programme. My Daughter is a changed person .. back to ‘normal’ .. for a child that spent most of her time alone, in her bedroom, didn’t go to school for well over a year and fearful of so many things .. she is enrolled in college, takes the bus, made new friends and is happy.. hearing her laugh and sing and grabbing her future with both hands is priceless. To all those wonderful people at YV I thank you from the bottom of my heart .. no the journey is not easy but following the programme and making the time .. being committed knowing the outcome really does change lives is the most amazing thing that any parent can do for their child’s recovery x Yvonne

United Kingdom | 08 September 2022Hi , i wish to thank everyone on the 'Young Vibe' team for the remarkable , positive and life enhancing transformation that has taken place for not only my son ( who was suffering with anxiety ) but for me also . The Young Vibe team provided the targeted guidance and assistance which enabled him to move from a situation where he couldn't interact with his family , friends and peers , couldn't leave the house , to a point now where he has returned to school and is enjoying a full and active social life with his friends and family . Prior to engaging with the Young Vibe team there where times when i wouldn't have believed this would happen . Sincere thanks and best wishes always Paddy Quigley .

United Kingdom | 26 July 2022I have just read through the many reviews for YV and so much resonates with me. We felt helpless when our daughter developed an anxiety disorder after the 2nd lockdown and refused to go into school. We tried so many approaches and were just about to see a psychiatrist, to beg for medication, when we saw the YV post on FB. For me, it has been an eye opener, I never believed I had anxiety, my butterflies were just concern about my child, job, friendship, money etc. How wrong was I..... Not having those sensations now is so freeing. For my 14 year old daughter, it has been a slow process but one where we have seen her slowly climb that mountain of recovery. She is now at the top and so close to living the life she deserves and wants. Breaking those habits are not easy but the DIY team are with us every step of the way, for the good times, when she went horse riding and had her photo taken, to the whoopsie moments. But those whoopsie moments are now few and far between. Thank you for everything Anne, Duncan, Martha and Alice

United Kingdom | 13 July 2022Have you seen that phrase: “Worried mothers do better research than the FBI”? That was me in February. A great analogy of our 12 year old son’s perception of school was that it was a lion’s cage, and the lion inside was impatiently waiting to feast on him. The catalyst is not for sharing, but it was a real, understandable fear, and only ever grew. It grew to the point, in February, where he ‘realised’ that the only options of getting out of going to *any* school were to either assault a Headteacher and be sent to prison, or to commit suicide. Since September we’d had help from extraordinary friends, we’d worked through numerous children’s self-help books, our son was on the oh-so-long waiting list for CAMHS, and we were giving him far too many natural remedies. The Young Vibes advert on Facebook caught my eye and drew me in. I cried with relief at the end of our first call with them. Three days into the programme we as parents had already learned so much, and were certain that we were in the right place, that we were no longer afraid for our son’s future. We absolutely knew everything was going to be ok! The Young Vibes programme is a huge commitment. It costs money, but not as much as the time off, the remedies, the treats and the bribes were costing us. And to be honest, although we’d have paid anything for a happy, healthy and safe child at this point, it’s an incredibly fair price. It costs a lot of time and energy, but not as much as we were already spending on, basically, facilitating our son’s anxiety, making sure he was safe from himself, and living with our exhausting worries. It is challenging, the learning curve is incredibly steep and at times it’s draining, but if you trust and keep going… wondrous things happen. After nearly a term away, our son is back in school, happy, healthy and safe. And the lion? What lion?! He’s comfortable there, and looking forward to thriving in the next academic year. We’re in the final stages of the programme now, and we absolutely know it! We took full advantage of everything the programme offered us, and it’s worked. We communicated fully with our mentors at each step, they understood us, cried with us, supported and guided us, and helped us move forward. They helped us to communicate effectively with school, and it was so freeing to, at one part of the programme, give over the responsibility of recovering our son to a child mentor - priceless! I was that worried mum, cramming endless hours of research into each day, and what Young Vibes said to us in the first webinar, in the first phone call, and the first Meet and Greet with our mentors, stopped me doing that… I didn’t care what anyone else said, what any reviews said, what CAMHS said, what the GP said, what school said - I just knew our son was, and we were, on the path to recovery. And I was right!

United Kingdom | 13 July 2022Very expensive and I didn't feel they understood neurodivergence and gender non-conformity. I did not feel comfortable after talking to this organisation.

United Kingdom | 12 July 2022We were like many others sadly struggling with our daughter who had terrible anxiety. She had not attended school for over a year and was spending 23 hours a day in her bedroom. As parents we were in a desperately worrying situation, we had been under the Dr, CAMHS, private counselling but none of it seemed to be making any difference, infact she seemed to be getting worse. Then I found Young Vibes and what a huge relief it was to talk to people who understood everything I was saying and helped me make sense of it. The support you get from the team is amazing and talking to all the other parents really makes you feel that you are no alone. Our daughter has turned a huge corner she now only sleeps in her room and her sleep pattern has also improved dramatically, she has also grown in confidence and is due to start a new school in September. Being part of Young Vibes has felt a bit like having a trapeze net below me and if we fall they always catch us. Such a support and I would 100% recommend them. Thank you Sam and the team you are all fantastic

United Kingdom | 09 July 2022Thank goodness for 'young vibes'. Being at desperation point with no where else to turn, finally A no nonsense factual approach that makes total sense. Young vibes gives total support every step of the way & I feel we now have a chance at having a 'normal' family life, which prior I never would have believed. You cannot put a monetary value on recovery & i am no longer afraid of what the future holds.

United Kingdom | 04 July 2022I was sceptical about the course structure and wondered why parents had to go through the process before the child in question. I learned to moderate how I spoke to my daughter in a calmer voice. Being calmer reduced my stress levels and seemed to positively affect my daughter; she appears to be less tense as a result.

United Kingdom | 02 July 2022YOU DONT LEAVE UNTIL ITS SORTED If your committed and dedicated there will be a light at the end of the tunnel. That is what gave me hope.. Our daughters situation had been gradual from a very young age and not knowing that many of the symptoms we had seen over the years were anxiety caused until seeing pure fear at going school with no rational reason at age 11. I felt lost. I have held off writing this review as although The anxiety disorder had slowly taken away soo much of normal life, and we had seen soo much return like she was calmer, we could talk to her and laugh with her again, she was doing things she had stopped doing like coming downstairs when people were here. She had got back on a plane, she had messaged friends and she had come off social media nicely when asked.. And things that she was doing like it taking 2 hours of waking and nagging to get her up and dressed in the morning had stopped and become just 2 calls. Her reactions although still there are not as extreme for being looked at.. my main concern and my anxiety was will she ever go back to school.. Last week she did 3 days without the amount of stress previously and although there is I believe still part of the journey left to travel I can see she is growing in self confidence slowly.. Also I myself have always been shy and anxious but definitely having dealt with my daughters as a DIY parent realised how anxious I had become, I see myself in a lot of it still now, it’s taught me soo much. The team are sooo lovely and don’t make you feel bad about your struggles, without them keeping your focus and repeating repeating repeating things till you believe them I couldn’t have done it.. We have come along way and will continue until it’s fixed which is what makes me soo happy.. Sam Ashleigh Sarah thankyou sooo sooo much..

United Kingdom | 26 June 2022My child has been on a difficult journey and his ongoing recovery would not be possible without the dedication from Sam and her team. I arrived desperate and broken and unable to help my child. Well meaning professionals had tried and failed. Some had even made it worse. Anxiety had fully taken hold of my family and I could not see our lives ever changing. My child was lost and disappearing in front of my eyes. I felt completely helpless. From the moment I spoke to the team, I knew it was going to be different. They immediately brought a sense of calm. The difference with Young Vibes is they help the whole family and not just your child. As well as taking care of my child they have also given me the knowledge and tools to support my whole family through this. This is so important as our children look to us to bring stability and lead the way. My own personal growth is incredible and Sam has never allowed me to give up. Young Vibes has given me the strength and courage to keep going. It is not easy and you will have to challenge yourself. If you allow yourself to trust in the formula you will see results. My family still has some work to do but I know I’m not alone. Everyone’s journey is different and this is fully recognised and supported by the team. I cannot recommended Sam and her team highly enough.

United Kingdom | 26 June 2022Thank you YVs .... these people are amazingly committed to helping kids get their lives back ... control the anxiety monster with this unique, yet intuitive programme. When their method was first explained to me I thougt 'yes that makes perfect sense'; but no one else was saying this - why? For our family the proof is clear, it works.

United Kingdom | 24 June 2022Having tried various routes over the years for our daughter e.g. CAHMS, psychologists, alternative methods, we were at a dead end and wondering what next. As well as anxiety our daughter has self-mutism. So, having come across Young Vibes, we wondered if the self-mutism would mean that we wouldn't be able to sign up. The reply from the Young Vibes team was 'No problem, we'll have her talking too'. I'll admit I was a wee bit sceptical on that one (not the anxiety) but nothing else in 13 years had worked. so nothing ventured, nothing gained. Wow.....within a few weeks of our daughter entering the programme, she was verbally answering questions to her amazing mentor. Gobsmacked. I have no doubt that all together we will succeed and our daughter will have the life she deserves. I only have the highest admiration for everyone within the Young Vibes team. The parents have portals to work through and Zoom meetings to attend....it has been so enlightening and eye opening. It has personally helped me so much as a person. So much detail, so much information, so much help. I now have a much better understanding of anxiety. We are 2 months in but we'd be totally lost and aimless without it. The passion of Sam and all the team is infectious and we will succeed together. One regret...if only we'd found you sooner but one relief....I'm so glad we finally did.

United Kingdom | 23 June 2022Where to start? I don’t think I have the words to describe how lucky I feel that we found young vibes. I saw the Facebook link to the webinar when I couldn’t sleep from worrying about my daughter. I booked a call, only to read there was a minimum age and she was too young. I cancelled the call devastated but Sam called me the following day and offered to rebook it to see how they could help. I was terrified at first not knowing if they were a genuine company, handing over money after one call but I couldn’t get away from the fact that I could just tell this was different. It’s not an easy process especially if you have an anxiety disorder as a parent and you need time to dedicate to the programme but it’s so worth it. This team of people are dedicated to recovering children from anxiety. The programme covers so much. The zoom sessions are invaluable, seeing other parents going through the same/similar things and hearing the advice which you apply to your own situation. The portals hold so much information, topics of the day which are helpful in keeping your awareness and approach in the right direction. And topics not just on the children struggles but things that affect us as parents and how this alters out behaviour to our children. Through all this I have never felt judged, it’s not about blame it’s about knowledge. Once you understand anxiety you can change. I’ve had an anxiety disorder since being a child and nothing has ever worked. I now feel I’m in butterfly and as Sam says no one can ever take the understanding away from you. I may still have whoopsie moments but I learn from them and knowing it’s not a mental health problem made all the difference to me. My daughter is doing so well. We’ve done DIY due to her age and I found this hard at first but I’m glad we did it. She’s doing things I never thought she would be able to do. The DIY mentors as with the parents mentors are amazing. I look forward to the sessions and sharing how my daughter is doing because they are so excited for her and it’s so lovely to share it with them. They genuinely care about the children.

United Kingdom | 23 June 2022Only been on the programme 3 weeks now but I'm learning so much every day. For many years now, my husband and I have had to endure things no parent should ever have to. We all want a happy, healthy child but when you see yours destroying themselves because of irrational fears about every day life, it is heartbreaking. Young Vibes is not therapy - we've tried that, medications and other things to no avail. The resources and support you get given are phenomenal. Every day Sam sends topic of the day videos out which always resonate with our situation and the daily zoom sessions with Pam have become a highlight of my lunchbreak. In a very short time, through learning what is actually happening when anxiety levels rise and how to reduce the excess of adrenaline in the body, I am already feeling stronger, happier and more confident about ours and our son's future. I feel like I've now got an extended family in Young Vibes who care as much as we do about seeing our son get back to living a normal, healthy life again as quickly as possible. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

United Kingdom | 22 June 2022I'm currently enrolled in Young Vibes with my ex-husband to support my 11 year old son with anxiety and school refusal. Having undertaken the first two weeks of the programme, I can't fault the team for their empathy, understanding and support. Daily emails, topic of the day discussions and a three-step approach to solving the underlying issues, have meant that we already live in a much calmer household. Topics are broken down into short videos and texts so that parents can dip in and out of the programme where and however they like, dependent on availability each day. There's no judgement on the programme and issues are discussed sensitively and openly with a shared understanding that everyone is in a similar boat and there's light at the end of the tunnel. Make no mistake, you can't enter onto the programme without a serious amount of self-reflection and honesty about what's going on in your home, but if you trust the process and follow instruction, you're likely to see positive results within a matter of days. Although I don't think our family traumas are as deeply rooted as in some other families on the course, we're already seeing progress in week two. My son has been in to school every day this week and I only had to offer to help with homework once this week whereas it would previously have caused stress, anxiety, meltdown and flat refusal previously. The theories that the team expound around anxiety are generally sound, although there are some factual misconceptions and I wish that some of the theory were discussed more fully, were more deeply rooted in science and were discussed with greater confidence (hence the 4 out of 5 stars). However, I appreciate that not everyone holds the same interests so even that approach may not suit everyone. That said, we're hoping for even bigger, and better changes over coming weeks and are up for the challenges that the programme throws at us.
