United Kingdom | 10 April 2024The team go out of their way to support the learners. The ladies at Reception all work so well together and really try to accommodate a dynamic situation. I had to change my appointments a few times at short notice which I know was a lot of hassle. They never moaned or complained and tried to get me in touch with a great instructor. Frank my instructor was very busy but managed to fit me in and again went out of his way to support me. I have yet to find any business as focused on customer support, thank you guys highly recommend for all your driving needs

United Kingdom | 19 March 2024DO NOT USE!! So a review so others don't attempt to use them for their kids or themselves. Brittania driving school wimbledon. I booked an intensive course back In October of 2023, was promised 4 hours a day for 7 days via vouchers that were valid for 6 months, the first day the instructor only give me 2 hours which was cut short by 20 mins. The second day the same and told at the end of it, that I know how to drive I'd be wasting my time doing the rest of the week that I actually paid for! They went on to say book my theory and call back to finish said booking. So passed my theory and booked an available test, got in touch with the company to then be told they're fully booked and couldn't provide me the rest of the lessons, this forced me to go elsewhere and pay out once again for the further lessons to get me test ready. I've since passed the test so the booking is Invalid regardless but now the vouchers have expired, Now the difficult part, I had asked for a refund over 3 weeks ago and was told to send a letter via royal mail with a cover letter explaining that the vouchers are of no use and I want my money back due to them not fulfilling the contract I'd brought into. I was told this would be finalised within 14 working days. 21 working days later I turn up to their office, only for the apparent office manager, didn't get her name but she made this clear as a way to prove dominance, to try over talk me every time I spoke, getting up in my face pointing and shouting threatening to call the police because I refused to leave until it got dealt with. Now a moment later a man walks in and tries to usher me out, yeah good luck with that, turns out it's her son! So I've recorded all of this for my own evidence. 5 mins pass and I'm dealing with the second receptionist who in fairness was alot more helpful, during this conversation the manager once again stood up and started to shout and argue albeit I wasn't even talking with her. I said to the second receptionist that I've since checked trust pilot reviews and realised how bad the company are, which led to the manager shouting across the office " then why did you bother using us!" Unbelievable ! I've now been promised a refund of £1032 back to my account within 7 to 10 working days! If it doesn't come through, a fraud claim will happen. So brittania driving school. Shocking proffesionalism and scare tactics, how the office manager still has a job is beyond me, then again I couldn't get a word in edgeways, I'm reporting this to trading standards also, i wish i checked these reviews before booking as have had nothing but grief ever since I did. So if I could give it a 0 star rating I would, do not allow these scammers to not refund you, if they try do the same to you, my bank have started a fraud claim incase they decide to once again ignore my request of a full refund! Which has been confirmed will be successful due to them not fulfilling the contract that I brought into.

Over this time he has worked with me to improve my driving skill and build my confidence on the road, ultimately enabling me to pass my driving test. Rahan has been an instrumental part of my driving journey, helping me to identify and address poor driving habits I had unknowingly picked up from a previous instructor. His instructions are calm, patient and coherent, and I always thoroughly enjoy our drives together! Could not have asked for a better instructor to get me over the finish line. Many thanks once again!

Did an intensive course and just over a month with him I managed to pass first time with 5 minors. His car was always clean which was amazing and his humour did keep me going through the more challenging times. Honestly not a bad word to say and he was always punctual. (I also loved our coffee breaks!)

He is fantastic at assessing students abilities, strengths and weaknesses. Very straight forward guy. He helped improve my driving ability drastically after only a few lessons. Even my parents noticed the difference in my driving. Jon tries to get to know the students in order to be able to help them to the best of his ability. Very friendly person, and always a clean car! With the help of Jon, I passed the first time with 3 minor faults. I’m going to miss Jon.

He was always on time and the car was super clean. He also went out his way to give me extra lessons during and around my test. He's a good laugh too and sets a good environment to learn.

United Kingdom | 10 August 2023Bad review for Libby driving instructor from britania. Booked a 2 hour lesson with Libby for my daughter / beginner. (I tried to book 6 lessons but was advised to book 2 lessons initially to ensure my daughter got on with the instructor - when i tried to book the next 4 lessons through britania, I was advised they only book a minimum of 6 lessons and therefore they cannot book the remaining 4 lessons. They advised my daughter could book directly with libby and pay cash at each lesson). The first lesson; Libby was provided with the wrong mobile number for the lesson by britania, my number. She was also provided with the wrong adress by britania or she got lost. 30 minutes late for the appt, I received a call from libby questioning the location. After some back on forth on the phone, between myself/daughter and libby, she finally arrived for the lesson. My daughter stood outside for the full time waiting for her. Accidents happen, so no problem at this stage. Libby advised she would make up the 30 minutes at the next lesson. After waiting some weeks for the 2nd lesson, my daughter received a text from libby cancelling at the 11th hour saying she was not going to be working for a while. Questioning the 30 minutes owed to my daughter, the reply from libby was "britania wont refund the 30 minutes" because I was waiting outside for the lesson. Libby either has not been factual with britania about her lateness (and calling me to get the right location) or she is not being factual with my daughter ref britanias comments (no 30 minute refund). Either way; This situation could have been easily rectified. Shocking, AVOID. My review fits in with the rest of the reviews here!

United Kingdom | 29 June 2023Having to deal with Britannia Driving School on behalf of my son with regards to a no-show from the instructor on a pre-booked lesson, the service is shockingly poor!!! The instructor failed to show up at the pre-booked time, no phone call, nor text, nor email to say cancelled etc. When we contacted the office, so called Head Office, they didn’t have a clue! They palmed it off to the instructor. It would appear that the instructor manages their Head Office rather than the so called Director managing the instructor! Still waiting for a refund for the no-show lesson! Apparently, according to the telephonist, the so called Management never attend their Head Office so you can’t get hold of them! Avoid…. go elsewhere where you get good service, instructors whom attend when booked and a office team whom want to help when things go wrong and whom have a degree of customer service skills amongst them!!!!

United Kingdom | 06 June 2023Terrible instructor called, Kirith. Avoid him at all cost. He will be on his phone most of the time, and wouldn’t care if you pass or not. Once you fail, he will avoid your calls.

United Kingdom | 30 March 20236 bad reviews, and 1/3 of them mention Jon... I'm surprised that number isn't higher! Jon is, without a doubt, the worst driving instructor I have ever experienced (I wish I was exaggerating here...), he is incredibly rude and made me feel belittled for the simplest of mistakes, causing me to feel stressed out which made it harder for me to focus during the lesson. He was also incredibly nitpicky, getting angry at me for "closing the car door too hard", and he made some incredibly racist comments about other road users on multiple occasions. For context, I am a well-built male, if Jon has made me feel this way then I would hate to know how he has made others feel... He almost destroyed my motivation to carry on driving, it was only a couple of months ago that I decided to try again with a different instructor, and I can safely say that the difference is like night and day! The new instructor is much friendlier, patient, and calm, and doesn't throw a fit when I accidentally make a mistake or hit the wrong button. I have reported Jon to the DVSA, and I strongly encourage anyone who has had the displeasure of having him as an instructor to do the same.
