There is no point prebooking with streamline. They do not turn up at the time you have booked leading to problems with evening bookings, appointments & trains you need catch.

I was let down badly last night. I have a broken ankle and fractured kneecap so pre-booked a taxi to pick me up from Concorde 2 after a concert. It failed to turn up. They said they were busy and were trying to find me a cab, so my pre-booking was a complete waste of time. I stood waiting on crutches and wearing a surgical boot. I was apparently a priority. In the end a lovely couple leaving Concorde 2 gave me and my friend a lift home in their car. I still haven't had a call from Streamline to say they have got me a cab....so as far as they're concerned I could still be waiting there!

Desperately needed to get home from Worthing A&E, it was a Bank Holiday Saturday and 3 am. Easily booked by phone an accessible taxi as I have a powered fold-up wheelchair. Paid via an efficient link, taxi arrived quickly with lovely driver who was disability aware. Thank you so much Streamline, you rescued me.

Prebooked a taxi with 1 hour notice. The taxi didn't arrive and the operator said they couldn't guarantee the pick up during busy hours. I spoke to the operator 3 times who informed me that drivers kept taking other jobs instead. I don't see why they have an option to pre-book if they are not going to honour the pickup time. The taxi then went to the wrong address to pick up. Eventually turned up nearly 30 minutes late. Not happy when we're in the centre of town, its a 10 minutes journey and there are plenty of taxi's in the city.

Excellent service, professional and polite drivers and unlike another company in Brighton who charge £3.00 more if you're disabled; I felt like my custom was valued. The accessable vehicles were useful but my walking frame also fitted in the saloons. I used them for my 5 days in Brighton last week and it made my holiday easier.

I was just crossing the road and I was half way from crossing and suddenly an extreme line taxi plate accelerated honked at me shouted at me but the guy had an strong accent so I couldn’t understand, unbelievable I was carrying a heavy shopping bag because I was coming from the supermarket. This need to stop .

Rubbish useless “service” .. say you’ll be 10 minutes and not turn up at all despite chasing you to be told you’re busy! Disgusting and I hope they go bust! Rude arrogant phone person too! AWFUL!

at 13.00 I was quoted asap but probably 10 minutes Saw a numbr of their 202020 cabs pass by empty. After 25 minurtes I called theier system recognized my number. I spoke to the operation she told me that I cab had not yet been allocated to me. I ststed I had been quoted 10 minutes and asked how much longer I must wait and she hung up on me. The initial enquiry to the same woman suggested that I was conversing with someone with zero customer care skills. Avoid cal 01273 205205 instead they arrivedin the 10 minutes quoted. Why bother with a second rate cab compny. No wonder Uber are doing so well

I wouldn’t even give them one star. Prebooked a cab to take us to coach for Heathrow and it didn’t turn up. I was told they never guarantee prebooked cars - so what is the point of prebooking?? I’d even checked with streamline I was leaving enough time to catch the coach and was assured I was. You cannot run a taxi business which means people miss flights. This is not the first time I have been let down by them. I should have learned my lesson. Will never use again and advise everyone the same.

I should have read other reviews first. I booked a taxi for 8-30 a.m. the following morning as we needed to catch a train to the airport. At 8-35 a.m., no taxi - so I called Streamline. To my disbelief, I was told that there were no taxis available in our area - so it would be at least 10 or 15 minutes. So what the hell is the point of pre-booking?!? I cancelled the cab and eventually managed to get one with another company - but we still missed our train. The firm's website talks about their history. Being Brighton "born and bred" and getting on a bit, I do remember the days when their taxis were shiny black with cream bonnets. Like the cars, the drivers were always immaculately turned out, always polite and ALWAYS ON TIME for a pre-arranged booking. Perhaps Streamline need to turn the clock back.

Dreadful experience yesterday booked a cab for 1.30 eventually arrived at 2.30. It was for 4 adults and two dogs, just not honest when contacted .. really stressful.

Required taxi to get up Elm Grove to Brighton General Hospital with my disabled girlfriend. Was informed about 30 minutes! Get text with car description and number plate, see taxi and wave THEN watched them drive down Handover terrace! Re phone office to be informed that I NOT ORDERED TAXI by a very rude woman

Not sure what’s happened to this company. Used to be so good. Now they turn up very late every time, even when I pre-book. Not point in dealing with a taxi company you can’t rely on. I’ll take my business elsewhere from now on. Such a shame.

I phoned to say I needed my taxi earlier to take my daughter and I home waited for 10 minutes or so as no taxi I was told that it would be another 10 minutes. I told them that I was partially sighted and reliant on oxygen. They said they would make my priority. Waited another 10 minutes or so still waiting and my daughter and I saw at least 6 taxis go past so phoned again and with a sigh the operator said well we have no taxis in the area and I reminded him I was running out of oxygen and was crying but the attitude I got back was that he couldn’t care less and tough luck I would have to wait. I had to call an ambulance as I could hardly breath and got a friend to pick up my daughter. I’m appalled and disgusted at the way I was treated. They just don’t care about the person that needs a taxi

im a disabled student trying to move several large bags down the road. I have been kept waiting an hour. last guy said its also because its short distance. clearly their staff just dont want to take the job because its not a long distance away. im diasabled and cant walk the stuff. im stuck out here with my things and they keep saying 10 to 30 minutes. my calls are recorded so I have the last phone call of them being rude as well as the one before where they just hung up on me. completely unacceptable.

This company is too unreliable. Even taxis booked well in advance may fail to turn up. Recently a wheelchair-friendly taxi booked to take a disabled relative for an afternoon out turned up over four hours late. Ten minutes I could understand and forgive; four hours is taking the proverbial. The afternoon was ruined and relatives who had travelled down from Hertfordshire to enjoy a day by the sea were not happy. Phoning the cab controller is no use, they just say they're busy and have no idea when the taxi will arrive. Unfortunately the above experience is not a one-off. My advice would be to avoid this company and use Uber, or the bus.
