Every single positive review is fake!!!! Ask yourself: how come they only have 1-star and 5-star reviews? Belong Home is one of the worst companies I have ever worked with, even worse than Comcast or PG&E. First, they never respond to an inquiry or home issue in a timely manner. Second, they request your availability for multiple vendor visits to get multiple quotes and sometimes the vendor never shows up. Nobody calls you to inform that an appointment has been cancelled. Third, they postpone repairs for months, don't reimburse authorized repairs and are aggressive and unrespectful during calls. We have a situation where a water leak took 4 months to get repaired, damaged walls and flooring and they are pushing the homeowner's insurance to pay for their negligence. This problem only got fixed because we hired a plumber and legal help in order to deal with Belong. Avoid this company at all costs. They will take your money and waste your time. If you are a homeowner, avoid them at all costs, since they will bill you for 3 to 4 contractor visits (about $150 each time) per issue reported claiming they are seeking better quotes. Yes, their 6% rate is lower but the hidden fees will cost you much more than a few extra point for a reputable property management company.

Home owners, please beware. Do not trust this company for your home. Renters, run in the opposite direction as soon as you find out that the property you are considering is managed by Belong. They will never fulfill any maintenance request. In case they do, they will charge you for maintenance without authorization. That's right. They may charge the renter an exorbitant amount for a small maintenance issue. I have had one of the worst rental experiences ever. Right from the point of signing the agreement, to setting up an ACH for rental payments, to move-in inspection checklist, and any maintenance request, they do not have been clueless. The customer support just deflects issues and tries your patience. They hope you will stop bothering them at some point in time. They are rude, bureaucratic, and in general, not responsive. Over the last couple of months, we have run into multiple maintenance issues which were never addressed promptly. The microwave in the kitchen has not been functional for months now. We gave up and purchased a new microwave after multiple follow ups. A company with 80 million dollars in venture funding should do better than this. As a renter living in a property managed by Belong, I would trust this company to manage my rental property.

Belong team is top professional and very effective at what they do. They rented out home to excellent tenants very quickly and at a competitive rate. They were helpful and super professional every step of the way. We highly recommend Belong Home to help you lease your property!

The staff at Belong Home is not only friendly and professional, but they know and have experience in the real estate market. Whatever you do don’t list your property with this company or rent one of their homes. We are in one of their rentals and trust me, it is a DISASTER. You want to deal with a regular property management company or an owner. We can’t even get normal maintenance on our rental. We are lucky to get ahold of someone. On the off chance we do, the incompetence is astounding. Property owners and renters BEWARE.

Belong sets a new low for incompetence, negligence, and just horrible all around service. Don’t be fooled by the low commissions, flashy website and “tech.” This company is a scam and will waste your time and cost you money. They should and most likely will be bankrupt soon if they keep up the user neglect. I made the mistake of trusting them to rent and manage my property and it has been a complete nightmare. The unit was left in filth and disrepair and Belong has made zero attempt to remedy. They will ignore your requests, give you false information, and waste your valuable time. Shame on you Belong, what a disgrace to the real estate industry.
