I recently carried out extensive work in my house at the same time changing from rather dated papered walls to more contemporary painted plaster walls As part of the upstairs revamp I decided I would like to change the style of my beds from wooden-frame to wrought-iron frame but struggled to see anything suitably inspiring in the showrooms I visited locally. The classic and contemporary Italian bed designs were extensive and varied and all very beautiful and I was immediately hooked I ended up buying two beds of different design for my large and small bedrooms and am so pleased with them both. The price is more than the wrought-iron beds seen in the showrooms earlier but the Italian beds are in a different league as regards quality, workmanship and aesthetic beauty. The website was very informative and easy to use. The lady who answered was extremely friendly and helpful, offering loads of information about the furniture, she obviously knows her stuff! I agreed a delivery date with her and it turned up on the day and in perfect order! The furniture is of very high quality, matching the description on the website and that given by the staff. Furniture arrived on the day agreed and everything looked good when it arrived. A couples of days after delivery I noticed a small piece of wood had splintered on one of the bedside cabinets legs , caused during the delivery process. I contacted My Italin Living and after sending in photos the complete bedside cabinet was replaced within 2 weeks. All I can say is that quality and service have been excellent from this company.

As my old sofa decided it couldn't take any more and finally died, i dreaded the thought of trawling through superstore after superstore for a new sofa, that I would no doubt hate within a year. As i was researching online i came across the My Italian living website and suddenly i was far more excited about what i could get. It all seemed a bit too good to be true initially as I had seen similar sofas elsewhere at a FAR higher price. After receiving a really prompt response to my initial email questions, i asked for some samples and was astounded by the quality and price. Everything was very easy; I telephoned the office in London, was sent a sample, to match colour; this was useful and I did then order. The process went smoothly, all the details were clear and the delivery was earlier than the date given. The delivery men were efficient, helpful and ensured all was well before leaving. The item ( set of drawers) is perfect for what we wanted and I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending My Italian Living. I initially requested a couple of samples of fabric for a new sofa which arrived promptly. I ordered my preferred option and was kept fully up to date with the order progress. In short everything undertaken by Myitalialiving was excellent. However, the same cannot be said for their delivery company. My delivery was put back twice so arrived 2 days later than promised. This is very annoying when you are given a delivery day, only to receive an email very late in the afternoon of that day, telling you that they cannot deliver as promised. I, for one, cannot wait in for days on end, assuming that my order will arrive. This was a real disappointment after such initial efficiency. Sincerely, Alvise
