Dartington Crystal was established in 1967, in Torrington, Devon. Since then it has developed and evolved many ranges of crystal and glassware based on its key skills of design and glassmaking.

I had some gifts delivered at Christmas and there was a bit of a mix up. I contacted the company and it got ironed out and they replaced the product, they were very helpful.

Sorry Dartington crystal this is not your fault this is the fault of the company you employed to deliver your product. On my email the delivery was due between 16.30 and 17.30 but never arrived I then got an email saying Sorry we missed you but never came to my address anyway, I contacted d p d the driver had tried to deliver the parcel to the wrong address, I then found out he had taken the parcel to a d p d drop of point 5 miles away from me and I to go to collect it myself and had all ready paid nearly £6 pounds in postage to yourselves. I find this absolutely unacceptable.

Bought as Christmas present. Just received Heather coloured vase .very quick delivery , well wrapped , and nice shape BUT I am extremely underwhelmed by the colour . Nothing like pictured on Webb sight. Most washed out. Bought a larger piece as a present for same person last year and was very happy with the purple colour. This years purchase was in the sale (for £ 52 pounds ) is it substandard?

Visited Dartington shops complex on the 3/6/24 after many visits in the past 20 years. Put my car details in the parking machine for 1 hour and had a coffee with relatives. 3 weeks later have a parking fine as the payment did not go through on the day, a charge of £60. After a lot of phone calls they removed the fine. Rating changed from 1 to 3 stars as helpful to refund the fine. The details on line explain that the shops are part of the dartington trust.

Visited the shop on Sunday 19.5.2024. Helped by Will who is very knowledgeable. Good advice as well. Outstanding customer service from Will and his colleague. Would recommend a visit.

Purchased 12 red wine glasses ST3286/3. Don't be fooled - glasses look lovely but glass is paper thin. 5 glasses have broken in 12 months. So fragile that just drying up by hand causes wall of glass to snap off. Stems also very fragile. The slightest tap and they will snap off. Note that we never put glasses in a dish washer and handle them very carefully. This is a very unsustainable product. If you buy them consider them to be disposable.

I purchased a vase at full price, only to discover a significant bubble in it upon arrival. When I contacted customer service to request an exchange, I was informed that the factory standard tolerates up to 3 bubbles in their products and was advised to return the item at my own expense. Items with such imperfections should be sold as outlet goods, not at full price. I followed up with an email asking for a complimentary return, given the circumstances, but have yet to receive a response. I definitely won't buy from Dartington again.

Over 75% of the shops are closed and what sparse stock there is is mainly over-priced. Such a disappointment.

Appalling delivery and customer service. It took weeks to arrive and when it did one of the six glasses was broken. I appreciate this can happen so wasn’t to worried as the glasses are beautiful. Seeings as they were very pricey, I assumed a new one would be provided or a refund. It has been a month trying to chase for a replacement. They say they don’t know why it hasn’t been delivered. I have been in contact nearly every other day and they say the same thing. They never pick up the phone and are not helpful at offering a solution. I still haven’t had the situation sorted and it’s just getting silly now.

I bought their garlic press from TK Maxx, it broke after I had used it 6-7 times when I was pressing it. Very poor quality and probably not tested for fat cloves!

Since I love a Caithness Glass paperweight given to me many years ago (before it was bought over by Dartington), it seemed the ideal gift for a friend's birthday. I ordered the Edinburgh Castle Celebration - Limited Edition of 200 paperweight (£135.00) and was very disappointed when it arrived since it looked nothing like the picture on the website. Indeed, it is probably the most ugly piece of glassware I have ever seen. It cost me £11.15 to return it.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would. I ordered an engraved carafe for a friends ruby wedding but when I got it, the engraving of the rather long Hungarian name was somewhat difficult to decipher. So I emailed customer services who requested a picture. Upon receipt they agreed without hesitation to issue a replacement and I suggested a simpler font. That was the end of last week, and it was delivered today (Tuesday !!) and it is perfect. So the quality of the goods and the excellent service are second to none.

I had the pleasure of attending my dear friends very special wedding ceremony in March 2022. I wanted to commemorate her day with a 3D laser picture crystal. Dartington have produced an exceptional piece of quality workmanship, so detailed and wonderful. My friends are elated and will cherish it thru the years. Thank you.

I can't praise the staff enough at Dartington glass - their customer service was exceptional - if I could give them six stars I would. SM and PM could not have done more to sort out a problem with a delivery for my mother. The best customer service I have come across in a very long time - emails responded to really quickly and things sorted out very quickly - a huge thank you to them.

I ordered a pack of six crystal red wine glasses. The ordering was simple and the delivery was very quick. One glass was broken upon arrival. Dartington immediately sent a replacement glass. This arrived well within the delivery times of other companies. I am happy with the quality of the glasses. They are light and of a good size. I now look forward to putting them to use.

I have purchased a number of their crystal photo blocks plus other items. Item quality, customer service (if there has been a 'hic up' in downloading photos) and delivery by Royal Mail has always been 5+ stars. A brilliant company that very much cares about customer service & i wish them every success for the future.

Having ordered a pair of Crystal Dimpled Tumblers as a gift for my partner, which arrived promptly via a tracked service, unfortunately upon opening one was chipped on the rim. I emailed Dartington to inform them and Paige kindly sent an apology and would send a replacement. Today I've received a delivery to find that Dartjngton have superceeded expectations and sent not just one but two glasses. I am very grateful to such kindness and felt that this company needed this recognition. Excellent customer service and will be purchasing again in the future.
