I would recommend both the A2 CofC & GVC courses to anybody. I have been flying professionally for more than 7 years and needed to transfer my PfCO qualification over and I found the online videos a wealth of information without being condescending. Matt's engaging manner of delivery made the 9 hours of learning fly by (excuse the pun). Also the team on the help desk have been amazing, always getting back to me promptly with any questions that I have had. The exam process is also painless and can be booked to fit in around your schedule, if you want to sit it at 3am on a Sunday - fine! Whilst I am exempt from the practical test, if they are as professional with that as they are with everything else - it'll be a smooth process for you. A fellow professional recommended UAVHUB to me and I'm really glad that I took his advice. You'll be glad you took mine too!

An excellent course which was tailored to the exact needs of a drone pilot. The tuition is both engaging and informative. Matt broaches the subject in a very easy to understand format and gives a great insight into the industry and covers all the pitfalls that can catch out an unweary or inexperienced pilot.

The whole experience was so professional from the get go. The course material was in bite size chunks and easy to pick up from where you left off. The mock exam process was the best I have used. UAVHUB are the only organisation I would go to for my drone training/ qualifications.

Very informative and easy to navigate

Training material is great - well presented in the videos and broken up into small sections (usually between 5-10m) which makes it very easy to take in as well as being able to go back to specific sections to review. When it came to the flight tests, the examiner was friendly and helpful - really did everything they could to get the best out of my performance. In all, UAVHub makes achieving the A2 CofC and GVC very achievable. I would happily use again if / when I go for further qualifications

I am a beginer to the drone world but feel confident in safe operation following my course. Very detailed videos covering every aspect of VLOS. Online leaning can be a hard slog but I was able to do it at my own pace. The videos were engaging and the platform was easy to use. The examiners turned up on time, were friendly and experts in what they do.

The ease of the course subjects and how it is taught

The GVC course material is delivered as a series of videos, text information and chapter round-up knowledge tests. This meant that I could fit the learning in around my own schedule. Initially I thought that this could also be a bit isolating but the UAVHub team were always quick to respond to any queries I had either by email, phone call or web-chat. It may be pedantic, but the (deserved) 5 star review does come with a couple of caveats based on my personal experience; the theory assessment portion of the course is handled by a third party and communication with them, and my attempt to sit the exam with them proved frustrating and difficult. Strictly speaking, this is not the fault of UAVHub who were, in fact, excellent in resolving the matter. Also, and this is really nit-picky, some of the diagrams don't match up to the written word in the flight examination preparation material. All that said, I would not hesitate to recommend UAVHub for UAS/UAV/SUA/drone training (whatever is your jam) especially as they are an active member of the community thereafter too.

I undertook the A2 Certificate of Competence course as I found that that my flyer ID in the A2 and A3 Open Cat. would not allow me to survey a roof for a friend in London. I found the cost to be reasonable and the course presented in several logical video presentations with accompanying notes. Each section was followed by a brief test, which focused the attention to the section of subject being presented and was good preparation for the examination. I now realise that I had probably been flying a little beyond the legal bounds of VLOS, and the course has guided me to the areas where I could apply for permissions to fly in some areas. Well worth the effort and time involved.

UAVHUB is a professional organisation that provides clear comprehensive and structured learning which you can do On-Line, in your own time and at your own pace. Having completed the A2CofC with 100% Pass, I found the training information clear, comprehensive and extremely well structured, and On~Line support was excellent. UAVHUB certainly appears to be a very professional organisation. The course was very clearly presented and easy to follow. The mock exam was very good and an excellent intro to the actual examination in which I achieved 100% pass thanks to UAVHUB.
