James provided an excellent 24 hours entertainment for our group who were celebrating a joint 60th birthday in Wales. The Murder Mystery was a great icebreaker and then the following day his tailor made treasure hunt was enjoyed by all. The countryside activities of Duck Herding and Laser Clay Pigeon shooting provided the icing on the cake

Recent murder event at Bowood, an enjoyable evening full of deception. The players knew their parts well and had plausible reasons for their actions. I will look out for future events and recommend this to others if you enjoyed Clue/Cluedo you'll enjoy this.

We booked the 007 themed Murder Mystery for my husbands 60th Birthday with 5 actors. Great fun and very enjoyable for all our guests, would highly recommend.

The Team were great at our Christmas Party, really easy set up and great communication before hand. Everyone at our party thoroughly enjoyed the Murder Mystery.

Organise Events unfortunately wasted my time and did not support me as a member of staff. I asked for more information about a gig they emailed me for, and they cast me in a role. This added unexpected pressure. I explained that I needed further information on the role before taking it on and I wanted to know if I’d receive payment before Christmas Day. They said, no, it would be at the end of the month. I said unfortunately I can’t take on the role then. They then persisted to email me asking me to do the job as they were desperate. They asked me what money I would need to be there for the gig. I explained that I’d need to meet my day rate fee to do it. They were hesitant to pay me because they never usually pay before the gig, but I explained that was my terms. They then paid me, so I did the job. Although I memorised a script that was not needed as an actor didn’t show up for the gig. I took on the role of two actors within my performance with an immense amount of hot seating way more than the average gig. I got great feedback and then I drove home. They then emailed me asking me for further paperwork even though I had done everything they had asked, so it was an unnecessary question. At this point I let them know that I had to spend money on a haircut and a beard trim in addition to the high fuel cost I paid for the gig. They then asked me for my bank details. I stated I was confused as I hadn’t been told what for, they then paid me another day rate. I thought perhaps they had gotten some good feedback and were thankful I’d pulled off the gig for them last minute at great personal cost. They then emailed me on Christmas Eve to tell me they made a mistake and paid me by mistake. And I’d have to pay them back ASAP. I have now stated that because of all that I will not be able to work with them in the future. Really badly organised events and unfortunately no retention with staff because of the lack of awareness. I also got a ticket for driving 68 on a 60 on my way home. So I’m actually at a loss. EDIT: You see they responded here but take no responsibility for the insecure nature of the work, the risk expected from staff and also the fact they cast me without even confirming pay or details of the event or anything. They also wasted my time and take no responsibility for that. I should probably invoice them for additional costs I’ve realised, regardless of what they believe. And note they don’t pay for costume or hair and makeup for their actors. A ridiculous gig. Exploiting vulnerable and financially insecure people who are trying to get ahead and make their lives better. If you’re an actor thinking of working for them, think again. Also note how they present that their event was a success, but don’t care about their staff. They make the distinction that their event is not what’s being referenced here rather the production of the event. This is also concerning seeing as they did nothing to guarantee the success of the event other than hiring the actors. At a very low rate may I add. After further research I realise I’m owed an additional £230. Please wait for my inbound invoice for administrative time and additional costs. I am in talks with my union.

We booked the Cluedo Murder Mystery event and embraced this by all dressing up in the colours within the game. The actors lead by Christy were great and we all very much enjoyed (in between our lunch coursees) trying to find out who was the Murderer. We had the choice of Hercule Poirot or British style detective and we chose Hercule, which was acted brilliantly!

Booked a Murder Mystery for my 35th birthday party and it was a tremendous success - the actors were quick-witted, brilliant and played their parts wonderfully! The interaction at the party kept things going and they were great and moulding things around a timetable that suited us. Thank you so much, thoroughly recommend!!

We had a super evening celebrating our Christmas Party with a special murder mystery! The actors were engaging and really got involved with our teams. It took a while for everyone to warm up and get to grips with the plot but we got there in the end. They spent plenty of time walking round to chat to each of us but also gave us time to eat and socialise with each other. We highly recommend - thank you!

We enjoyed the murder mystery with Organise Events and the detective was very enthusiastic and engaging. However, we were hoping that the characters would engage with each other more so our employees could get to know each other and socalise. Instead, the focus was on each person responding to the detective's questions. It was very funny but took a long time and in the end, people weren't speaking with each other because the detective was asking all of the questions. It would also be nice for each person to receive the envelope with the character information before the evening of the murder mystery so you can have a better understanding of the context for your character. Organise Events was very helpful and professional and communicated well with us in advance of the event.

Our Murder Mystery evening was amazing, an event we shall all remember! James was our detective and he managed all of the event participants very well and made everyone laugh. I was a little bit apprehensive as I wasn’t really sure what was going to happen even though I had organised the hotel and meal, etc. I’d dragged everyone out to a hotel in Bueaulieu all dressed up in 1920s garb, I came down to greet everyone and they all looked at me expectantly! Luckily the inspector approached and took hold of the everything. Everyone said what a fantastic evening it was, it was brilliantly and professionally done. I wish they had another plot line where guests act out the characters as would like to organise another!

We had a fabulous murder mystery evening in a remote Lakeland house. The event was fun, interactive, and everyone felt involved thanks to Russell, the detective. I would highly recommend.

Our murder mystery was such great fun! Chris the defective kept me informed the whole time and the actors held the attention of the room so well! It was the perfect mixture of team building and silliness!

We had the best evening with Marcus as our detective! We did the Littleton affair and would highly recommend! He guided us through and everyone had so much fun.

The murder mystery event was a thoroughly entertaining evening. James stayed in character for the whole duration and made the script humorous, weaving in details about colleagues. He got everyone engaged and involved and had the right mix of giving suggestions and letting us work through things as a team. We all really enjoyed it - thank you. Would thoroughly recommend.

My husband and I hired Organise Events for a combined 60th birthday Cluedo Murder Mystery dinner. James and his fellow actors were brilliant, they coped with quite a noisy bunch on top of football dramas in the next door bar and still managed to engage everyone! The drama unfolded between courses and was a great way for people who didn't know each other before to mix and have fun. The feedback from our guests has been really great and I think we'll all be talking about the evening for some months to come! Thank you James and the team!

Last night James was our detective for a year 8 school leavers party. We had a good chat in advance and I was assured he knew exactly how to hold the attention of 24 x 13 year olds……they were captivated for a full 1.5 hours which I was surprised at and every child said it was the best school party they had ever been to. They were still buzzing and talking about it at this mornings speech day. Many thanks James and we shall be booking again for next year.
