I found myself in a tough situation after losing my home in the recent California Wildfires —and with it, my entire wardrobe, including nearly a dozen beloved pairs of TAFT shoes. When I reached out to see if there was any way they could help, their customer service team responded with professionalism, patience, and, most importantly, humanity. Despite some initial hiccups and policy limitations, TAFT was willing to go off script to take care of a loyal customer in a unique circumstance. They listened, adapted, and ultimately worked with me to find a resolution that was both fair and incredibly generous. In an era where customer service can often feel robotic or impersonal, TAFT proved that they still value relationships with the people who wear their products. Not only are their shoes beautifully designed and crafted, but their customer support team also embodies the same level of quality and care. United States | 24 February 2025I bought a pair of Taft 365 Chelsea boots to replace a well worn pair of Dragon boots. I loved those; great quality boots. I expected the same from the new pair, but I was sorely disappointed. On the first day I wore them, the stitching on the elastic started unraveling in several spots. After 6 days, the soles started getting unglued at the tips. A couple of days later, one of the heels lost the rubber sole. I'll never buy from them. Their quality went from a ten to a 1

Like my guy, I've worn shoes before.. Nonetheless they refused to exchange it, blocked me from commenting on their ads calling them out and well now you know!

United States | 27 December 2024The Rome boots I received were fine but did not fit me. Because the style I ordered did not come in half sizes and a good fit was unlikely, Taft said that I could exchange for a different style or return them for a refund. I went with the return/refund option with the idea that I would later order a boot from Taft. Trying to get a return/refund triggered the problems with Taft customer “support.” They had no problem arranging for the boots to be returned and I dropped them off at UPS the next day with no wear and in the original packaging. While my boots were still enroute back to Taft, I received a strange email that my return was rejected. They would not respond to my emails if I only asked about the return. Note, the phone number they listed was not in service. However, if I mentioned the possibility of an exchange, they replied quickly. In that email exchange, they again agreed to the return/refund. Although they received the boots I returned, they did not issue the refund and they again ghosted me. About a month later, with no notice, they shipped me another style of boots in a different size. I only learned about this because the UPS delivery site let me know that there was a package waiting for me. And of course, Taft has made no attempt to honor their agreement to refund my original purchase. I asked the UPS store to return the boots to Taft without opening or even touching the Taft box. Because of their customer service, notably ghosting me and refusing to refund me after getting their boots back, I want nothing to do with Taft products.

United States | 13 December 2024I ordered a very nice pair of boots from Taft (I do not want to remove credit to where credit is due) and paid for express shipping. Unfortunately, shipping took longer than usual so I email customer support who immediately responded back and refunded the extra shipping charge. Once the boots were received, I emailed the company to let them know about some scratches I discovered on a boot. The Taft team never got back to me. I proceeded to call several times not their customer service line that is posted on their website, and this has unfortunately been disconnected. I then proceeded to email and call again for the next couple days and I haven't received any word back from the Taft team. Not even acknowledgement on the receipt of my emails. To summarize: I received really nice boots with a scratch on them, and the customer service team is consistently failing to advise on return steps. My next steps will be to send this same message to the various social media presence they have online, and if this fails, to take it up with my credit card. Online businesses cannot be run with subpar customer service. Given this experience, I do not want to do business with Taft again. JB

United States | 12 December 2024I have purchased from Taft four times and things have been great. Their products are gorgeous. This last purchase started as a disaster though. I placed the order on 11/29 and on 12/13 I still did not receive it. The SHOP app, which is the service they use to ship the product says "Ready to Ship", and "Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item." It has said this since 11/30. USPS says that they have not received the product for shipping, just a shipping label request. I had sent TAFT four emails, tried calling on two different numbers that don't work, texted twice, and sent two messages through Instagram. I had gotten no response. Low and behold, the package shows up at my door today. I could not believe it. Clearly some kind of a shipping glitch, but the lack of response was inexcusable.

United States | 10 December 2024I ordered a size 9.5 and received a size 9. Shocker! It is a .5 size to small and I can't wear it. Their customer service phone number is fake and they won't respond in any way to an email. They do look nice but I would say proceed with caution....caveat emptor

Even though it was their mistake. It appears all that beautiful advertising is just a scam. Ruined my Christmas. I’ll see if they exchange or refund me. I then tried calling their listed contact number which is 801-823-4625 and it was not a working number. After weeks of trying to get someone to respond to my emails, I sent the shoes back at a cost of $82.00 shipping!!!! However, I’m still waiting on my money!!! Yes, my money is GONE!!!! Taft has ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE so beware!!! I'm a schoolteacher and I feel like I have been robbed!!!! I now have to sue them at a court cost of $325.00!!! Buyer BEWARE!!!!

Couldn’t return them because they are last chance and was in the process of reselling them when I started to see tears in the side. I am not about to scam someone into a crappy pair of shoes like what happened to me. Finally got the pair that fit me and they lasted 4 months. The designs are impressive and I love the looks but have been completely disappointed by Taft. I really hope the rest of the shoes aren’t like this.

United States | 15 June 2024This is in reference to ORDER #397253 I found out pretty quickly that TAFT was a business that has a bunch of issues. When you go to their website, of course you choose the shoes that you like, then you look at the shoe size chart, of course it has US Men, US Women, UK and EU. My son wears a size 10 US, which is what I chose. The shoes that arrived looked like skiis, they were 2 sizes too big?? The shoes that I ordered, I didn't realize that the shoe's that I bought showed FINAL SALE, I didn't find out until I went about returning the shoes. Based off of the reviews on trust pilot and with the bbb, one of the major gripes, is that the shoe sizes do not match up, so when you get the wrong size, TAFT wants to point out the FINAL SALE, even though they know they know full well that the shoes won't fit in the first place. They are selling a subpar shoe, under misleading and sketchy rules... I returned the shoes, and sent an email to TAFT, to which TAFT answered back..."Hi Monique, Thank you for reaching out! I have reviewed your order and both of the pairs you ordered were final sale. The only thing that was returned in our system was your Order Protection for $3.15. Since the shoes did end up back to us, I would be happy to make a one time exception and refund your order. You should be seeing that soon! Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with! Mylee" Well I bought a 2nd pair of shoes (the same shoes) that I originally purchased for my son. I had to break out a tape measure to try to figure out how I was going to get their stupid size chart figured out, and measured the 2nd pair of shoes that I received in the mail. These shoes with a tape measure, are a size 8?? It's just ridiculous... the whole company needs to be shut down..

I tried to use the warranty customer service said to go get them fixed and when I send them the receipt they’ll give me a 50$ coupon for and pair. Then they closed the ticket. Don’t but don’t buy

United States | 30 April 2024I bought a pair of Wallace shoes on April 3 and the price dropped by half in the 3rd week of April and despite me asking twice to get a store credit, I was turned down. I gave them my order number so they wouldn't confuse it with my February order and of course they did, because I was told they don't price match from two months ago. It was actually less than 3 weeks I received the shoes. I couldn't find any information about their price protection policy. I was told it was seven days. If it wasn't for the fact these close out shoes are non-refundable I would return them unused. This is a $80 price drop including tax and I wlll not make another purchase from Taft. Their business paradigm is not conducive to buy with confidence that if a product has a price drop, Taft apparently has a 7 day price guarantee, which is not stated in writing, however most companies have a 30 day policy. Needless to say I am fed up with Taft and will take my business elsewhere

However, the sizing is so consistently wrong it almost feels intentional and makes their product not worth ordering or wearing. To top it off the return/exchange policy is a headache. You are better off ordering elsewhere so you get something you know you can actually wear and return if it doesn’t.

United States | 25 October 2023The laces are stained brown and they are way way way too big. This is not a size 9. More like a size 11 And there is some torn stitching. Seems very low quality.
