I love the shoe design and fit…(russel loafer in Eden) However they are extremely hard to walk in as the bottom is so stiff like hard plastic I almost fell several times. For a shoe that expensive I would expect more of a well rounded design, fit, comfort, and functionality from them.

Very disappointed in quality of these shoes and even more disappointed with slow response from customer service. One of my shows has a gap in stitching that is 3/4" long. Can't even get anyone to reply to email. Needless to say, I will not return.

Bought the Paris Boot in Black Floral. The design is BEAUTIFUL. The boot itself was torture to wear. After walking in them for five minutes I had blisters on my feet. I will try taking a hammer to them (seriously) to break them in. I truly want to wear them again but can’t unless they become less formidable and more friendly to my feet.

I really really wanted to love these boots but after a few months of agonizing pain I had to give them to my partner. My right foot is slightly larger than the left and for some reason, after wearing these shoes for 3-4 hours, I would feel searing pain in my right foot. I’ve never experienced this before with any other shoe. Boot is still beautiful but my god, I can’t get past the discomfort.

Like the product but they are struggling to grow. Ordered 2 pairs of same boots and only 1 was delivered. They asked for pictures of box which I sent. I also sent security footage of delivery. Waiting multiple days and their response is to ask for more pics. Insulting. They screwed up and are not owning it. No phone support or issue escalation possible either.

I bought the jack boot in “Eden.” I had high hopes. Do yourself a favor and do not buy shoes from this company. Don’t trust the reviews on their site! They’ll attempt to hook you with their flashy designs. The quality is…really bad. I would hardly call these shoes. They’re made with such cheap, flimsy, and uncomfortable material. The pictures are very deceiving. The fact they charge nearly $300 for these is obscene. In my experience, a truly terrible product.

Taft is a great product and the shoes are super comfortable and stylish! I am getting so many compliments on the red paisley sneakers and I have another black paisley sneaker that are fabulous. Costumer service was superb and helped me exchange my shoes for a smaller size. I would warn you that although the website recommends if you are a half size to size up that did not fit for me. I’m usually a 7 1/2 but the 8 was too large. When I exchanged to the 7 it fit like a glove! Perfect fit and so happy I own these shoes!! Excellent company all around!!

I have been asking repeatedly for help with exchanging a size. No communication, sizing is not accurate, and its all over the map... and I cannot get a human to respond. $$$ boots for no customer service. I buy a pair every year and I won't be doing it again. Beware, sketchy very sketchy.

I had an amazing experience with Lana from customer support. We exchanged several emails on a list of questions I had and she took care of me till the end. She genuinely cared and showed it through the emails. I felt like I was getting VIP service. Thank you so much again if you see this!

I had been getting so many unwanted emails and cookies from these guys I was finally worn down and ordered a pair of Taft "Clint" dress shoes in Black size nine...The shoes were advertised as "high quality" men's dress shoes with some flair...The shoes arrived 1 day later but upon inspection were the absolute worst quality paper thin, rigid leather uppers...The Goodyear welt sole was cheap chinese injection molding with faux stitching..The size 9 D width was more like a size 8 1/2 narrow, and would not even fit my foot...I have worn a size 9 D in all footwear for 35 years and these shoes were NOT a 9D...When I went on the returns page I found out for the first time that my return was subject to a 10% restocking fee...If you care about real leather and quality in your dress shoes, avoid these like the plague

This is my first TAFT boot and so far I am satisfied with the purchase. High quality materials, first class workmanship and decent pricing, excellent for a handmade boot of this magnitude. I will report back after wearing and comparing to my other boots which include, Allen Edmonds, Loake, Frye and Ralph Lauren.

The other reviews are ridiculous. Taft produces high-quality products and charges what is necessary in order to maintain that quality. Every purchase I've made has been excellent.

Pro: - They look amazing ... that's it Cons: - Had to buy insoles because I could feel the nail from the sole dig into my heel - I think I lost all the skin from the back of my heels - They cost an arm and a leg In summary: I would not buy them again. They are the most expensive shoes I ever bought and I have so much regret. Yes, they look beautiful (I can't talk about the craftsmanship) but good lord, every time I put them on, my feet take such a beating.

While their boots are nice, the production needs Jesus. I was waiting months for a sale on the Viking boot in stone (because i cant afford it at regular price) and within a few hours of the black Friday sale, it was all sold out and wont be restocked till the following year. Customer support said they have been the most popular boot, but wouldn't you shift supply to match the demand if thats the case? The boots has been consistently sold out all year. Anyways, I gave up and decided to spend my money elsewhere. I do appreciate the other pair of boots from them I bought a little over a year ago, but in my opinion, they aren't worth the purchase without any sort of discount and I'm annoyed I was tracking the availability with this boot to only have it sold out before I got home and was able to purchase it.

Customer Service seemed nice and professional, however i can't accept the response's so iv'e decided to just move on from buying Taft products. The shoes are very nice at first but they don't last and after submitting the first email, the customer service team basically confirmed that the shoes are only really meant to last about 2 years. I would understand this if the cost was under $150. But for $250 boots to come apart after 2 years is unacceptable to me. I have $100 Clark boots that have lasted vigorous wear over 5 years and are still in tact. After speaking further with customer service they finally offered to reimburse getting the cobble fixed, but why would i want to pay to fix a boot that has already come apart on me from normal to minimal wear. I was hoping they would of offered for me to send them back for another or discounted pair. At the end of the day that's where exceptional companies differ from the crappy ones and i will just take this as a lesson learned and buy better quality boots next time and make people aware. I will have pictures and more explanation posted later today when i have more time.

I kept seeing their ads on Facebook and I finally bought the pair that caught my eye — the Gladiator dress boot. This was before I seem Facebook ad scams, so I lucked out. The shoe quality is top notch. The leather is fantastic on these shoes. The sole stitching is superb. I wear a size 11 and those dress boots are the most comfortable dress shoes I ever bought. I would highly recommend this brand to anyone trying to step their shoe game up.

i found TAFT from Instagram. I bought their version of the black chelsea boot. I was immediately given a $20 coupon code for it being my first purchase. i'm a size 11. The quality of material was superb in my opinion. The look is very sleek. When wearing them i didn't feel uncomfortable or experienced any blisters on my feet. the base price was $290. For anyone that is willing to spend a little extra money for a nicely crafted boot, i'd suggest them.
