I was sent an email to file the Annual Return. I have not given permission to Online Filings to email me and I though it was Companies Office Online Filing. It wasn't until after I had paid (including an unnecessary fee) that Online Filings are an unnecessary intermediary. I called my bank to stop the transaction and have been told Online Filings now have a mandate to take monthly payments for six years. This is really dodgy - it's an annual return so what are they taking monthly payments for. The administration fee is unnecessary for anyone who can file their Companies House return directly with Companies House. How did Online Filings solicit my email address?
