On holiday in France recently I rang some restaurants who use this concierge service. I received a call (in French) to say they were looking into securing a table for me. I had to leave my credit card details to reserve my booking. Completely unbeknown to me bookici.com applied a 0.01p charge to my account which triggers a subscription service with a monthly fee of over £40.00. I knew nothing about this. The texts and calls were in French to confirm my table or to say it was full. At at no point was any subscription or any sum of 49 euros mentioned. When I got back to the UK I saw two charges had been taken. I immediately contacted them and explained I hadn’t signed up for their subscription but they said all their t&cs were on their website, they had sent me an email (they hadn’t) and because I didn’t cancel it they could take my money. I explained I couldn’t cancel something I knew nothing about. They couldn’t care less. Avoid any service who uses this concierge as you are paying for it. I have reported that scam to the Times Travel Doctor and You and Yours on the BBC to warn other travellers so they won’t be caught out like me. Further to this review I read the reply from Book.ici.com and did contact them as requested. I finally got to speak to Marc yesterday who listened to my complaint and has resolved it to my satisfaction. This positive response to my complaint has improved my view of their customer service and I have amended my rating as a result.

L'assistante a été opiniâtre, elle a continué jusqu'à ce qu'elle parvienne à faire notre réservation.

Je contacte ce service pour un taxi !! A mon arrivée à la gare le taxi était là sans problème. La suite de l’histoire je vais un prélèvement de 69,.. sur mon compte vers Bookici. Je vous déconseille ce services arnaque Totale.

Je suis arrivé en gare sncf pensant trouver un taxi mais malheureusement personne. Book ici ma trouvé un taxi en15 minutes. Merci continuez ainsi
