Great service! I placed my order two hours before Boris Johnson announced UK lockdown due to coronavirus. Was totally expecting to be told that service was suspended, so I was delighted when I got a call to tell me about delivery. Walkers explained that delivery might take a couple of days, because of the circumstances, but couple of days later got a call to say delivery would be that afternoon. Very helpful driver turned up and made sure he dumped the logs where they wouldn't be in the way. (No stacking service during lockdown, which had been explained in advance.) This is what managing expectations is all about. Keep in touch with your customers, tell them what's going on (ie communicate properly, not just via those irritating emails), deliver stuff without them having to call you five times to see where you are, and they will love you forever!
