I have been using Walkers for a few years now and wouldn't go anywhere else, their wood is high quality, if you are in a local postcode there is a stacking service which is excellent, I can't recommend highly enough.

Helpful and polite on the phone, clear and honest pricing, delivery driver helpful and considerate. Logs beautifully dry (really good sound when they fell out of the lorry!). Would thoroughly recommend.

Second time of ordering from Walkers, and we've been very happy - with the service, quality and value for money. Delivery within days. Phone call shortly after order placed to arrange delivery, then followed up with a call as they were on their way to deliver. The kiln-dried, hardwood logs burn well and emit a lot of heat - they are a bit more expensive, yet much more efficient than ordinary logs. Miles cheaper than buying by the bag. Most impressed, thank you!

Having just had our multi-fuel stove flue liner replaced, I decided to cast around for a new fuel supplier, as our usual supply of smokeless fuel had come from a national chain that had gone into administration, closing many of it's stores. I was surprised and delighted to find one firm, Walker's Logs, quite close to me, so I visited their premises and purchased a handful of bags of their kiln-dried logs, to try out. The logs proved to be very good - easy to burn, good heat output, and comparatively little ash left over. I then followed this try-out with an order of 50 bags of the same kiln-dried logs, several boxes of Walker's kiln-dried kindling, and a few boxes of Natural Firelighters (tightly coiled wood shavings, dipped in wax) and have had great fires ever since! The logs are a convenient size (about 9 to 10 inches long) for wood and multi fuel stoves (I have a Dovre 250 multi-fuel), the kindling is perfect for getting the logs burning, and with the Natural Firelighters to start it all (haven't needed any newspaper to assist!), the experience has proved very simple indeed. If you want to keep your fireplace or stove efforts to a minimum, then Walker's is a convenient supplier who can deliver the wood, kindling and firelighters all together! Additionally, their friendly staff make the transaction very pleasant and easy, so kudos to Hollie in the yard office, and to Daniel, one of the delivery drivers (I doubt I have ever met a more cheerful and chatty delivery driver, ever!). Walker's Logs - highly recommended, particularly if you are in the North Cotswolds area, but Walker's are happy to deliver much, much further afield!

Very pleasant driver arrived on time and dropped double load of logs in just the right place. The logs burn very well in our Island 2 stove.
