Very patronising, they will change what they say on every phone call and not communicate with you. They put the emphasis on the customer to continuously ring them to get updates and then when they answer the call go out of their way to make you feel like it’s your fault that you didn’t know the information that they hadn’t bothered to provide to you. Sylvia and Jane at the Heaton branch both told me completely different things and I have never once been updated on my situation without having to ring up and ask what was happening.

Rude, racist, patronising, and bare faced incompetent bunch of lazy bones. They just throw their weight around. They are a shame to the Estate Agency profession. I don't know how desperate you will have to be to rent, buy, or sell through them. They either seriously under estimate your property's worth or exaggerate it. A family member who was working in the NHS had dealings with them and they only caused us hassle, were disrespectful, and simply would not give us time of the day even though we were putting our lives at risk at Covid times. Really despicable bunch. Specially the Morden branch in Surrey. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Rude, immature, patronising, inefficient and ineffective. Can barely bring myself to waste breath on them, but avoid at all costs. Do Goodfellows give any training at all to their estate agents? Zero evidence of respect or professionalism shown towards tenants. Several suspected contractual issues breaching legality.

They helped with letting my place out and managed very well and cost effectively all the fixing during the years. I can recommend this agency because the staff are very helpful ,honest and reliable.

I would like to give a negative star, if I could. This a very disappointing as the Sutton branch agent confirmed us (vocal and by email) on early June that the probate legal works was granted back in March of this year, ALL DOCUMENTS ARE DONE. Unfortunately we don’t know why the seller’s solicitor needed a month on 28 July (Friday after 5pm) to sent us the draft contract. During this time we call and email the agent several times to asked why we still have not received any documents and information from the seller’s lawyer. but we always can’t reach her and left a message or reply us needs a couple days. And when we received the draft contract were started the legal process then the title guarantee and information provided by the seller is very limited and many things needs us surveying by our self. When we arrange a date for the house surveyor and the asbestos inspections for test samples, the agent is always slow in reverting back to us. But about two weeks from receiving the draft contract, the estate agent called me to urge our lawyer to respond to the seller’s lawyer as soon as possible, otherwise they would put the house back on the market. She known us needed moving in this house in early September in the beginning but due to her arrangements are very bad and have not knowledge of this house before putting on the market, she is unreasonable and unprofessional. We wasted a lot of time and money. That’s are very uncomfortable with us. All in all, a bad experience.

Worst estate agent that I have ever liaised with. They never called back when you send them interest through Zoopla/Rightmove. When I called them after a couple of days, they said they will arrange the viewing with the landlord and never called me back also. This wasn’t a one off experience. They were bad since my last house hunting back in 2007.

The just want your money, they refuse to help with problems, they never call you back, its not a good company to rent from as all up front getting you to rent then once you sign the contract they do not help you solve problems.

If i could give 0 stars i would. 3 years with issues promised to be fixed before we moved in and still not done. They have the cheek to blame the landlord when they haven't even contacted them. My own vehicle damaged due to no inspection or anything. Matt in Sutton is always in a meeting and unavailable or on a phone. They ask for you to leave a message then ignore your requests. Cant get a flat repaired if they ignore you. Breached contract on 8 different occasions but still want their money. Shameful. Never live in Sutton under these criminals.

I put 0 if I could. Worst agency I have seen in my life. Absolutely they don't want to solve the problems. I have moved recently to a house in NE6. Neighbour(Ground floor) is creating a lot of problems and we informed this to Agency(Heaton manager Linda and Sylvia) which they don't care and don't want to solve either. Instead of solving the issue, They are very very rude to me and asking me to pay the full amount if I leave. Seriously this is the worst worst agency I have ever seen in UK. Never ever recommend Goodfellows estate agents in heaton area.

Awful agency, they discriminate against potential tenants with children and those who are on disability related benefits. When you explain to them that they are acting unlawfully they blame it on the landlords and/ or referencing companies. You tell them you can provide a deposit and rent in advance plus references but they don't care. Then they retain your details on file and don't even bother to contact you when you send enquiries about other properties. They are extremely prejudiced and discriminatory in their renting practices. Once again, they do not care if you are on full uncapped benefits DUE TO DISABILITY OR CARING FOR SOMEONE WITH A DISABILITY, they do not care if you can PROVE that you can afford the rent. Because all they care about is discriminating against vulnerable people.

Incredibly unprofessional and rude. My family drove one hour to make an appointment (the only time they had apparently) at 9.45 this morning. They were left in the cold waiting outside, only to be told there was 5 minutes before the next appointment. The agent was in the property, knew the time of our appointment very well, and could have let them in or completed the first viewing in time. He offered no apology. It is completely unacceptable to be treated this way.
