Best plaice I've had in a long term, fresh and delicious and crispy with virtually no waiting. Well worth a stop if in Harlow.

Ordered the food to only get it after 2 hours.Starved my kid as well as myself . This restaurant is taking the mick. I called to ask about my order and they have forgotten about it . Food arrived cold. Worst experience ever.

Waited 50mins...2 x haddock and chips and a kids meal ....after 30 mins server asked me to repeat order...not on the system?....chips were hard fish batter thin and soggy and fish watery £30 meal in the bin....very disappointed....it was very busy with deliveries which seem to take priority....Will not be going back

Popped to Harlow for my Covid-19 booster and came across this shop on my way back to the car. It looked really clean and inviting, so treated myself to a portion of chips. Wow, what fantastic quality. They were fresh, plump and delicious. You so often get chips which are cooked in old fat and are greasy. This was not the case with CJs. Thank you for an off the cuff early lunch! I would highly recommend this fish and chip shop.

Just had a jumbo cod and a plaice with large chips - 1 word - excellent. Best fish and chips I’ve had for a very long time, cooked fresh, very well packaged and lovely fresh homemade tartar. Hardly any oil and the crispest batter I travel from Upminster to visit my Mum and this is her fav - Best f&c in Harlow

We have just enjoyed scampi and chips, which were freshly cooked to perfection. We also tried the homemade tartare sauce which was delicious.

Lovely Cod and chips, fresh, hot and delivered in environmentally friendly paper products. An absolute joy, no oil slick on either the fish or chips, the taste was fantastic and they were delivered early too. Trust me, this really is the best chippy in the town, My Plaice at coppice hatch is second, with Tommy Tuckers third.
