Always call for breakfast from the deli , the girls are always very helpful and the food is cooked to perfection,baguettes have just enough crunchy crust for us oldies with less teeth,wrapped in foil to keep warm ,the food that is . Top marks from me to Alsager Spar

Love the my local Spar in Pinhoe but struggling to recruit staff at the moment , particularly impacting on the Post Office hours.

Spar is a very good convenience shop that sells everything.

The only problem I find is they do not have enough people on the tills at busy times apart from that it's all good

This is for my local Spar, Newark Road, North Hykeham. Worked tirelessly througout covid and beyond to ensure their customers could get what they needed. Always cheerful and helpful, even doing free deliveries to vunerable. They managed to keep their shelves full when other bigger supermarkets couldnt.

If you dont want to get Virus, think twice before entering SPAR shop in 43-45 Ballards Walk, Basildon SS15 5HL. We went to buy food in the local Spar. My wife was using shop trolley, I was pulling my empty home trolley, so not surprisingly, elderly lady, probably shop owner started following me like a thief. For me its not a problem because I newer stole anything in my 65 years, but after I picked 2 items for my cat and took them to another side of the aisle to my wife’s shopping trolley, shop owner went on me by asking where did I put it? She probably thought that I hide it in my trousers... I told, its in wife’s trolley, but lady went on me by asking to show it! It would be understandable and not a problem, but shop owner HAS NOT BEEN WEARING FACE MASK, even that they have on the walls ‘’that masks must be worn by everyone in this shop’’ So I asked her to put on face mask before shouting on me, but she started coughing in my face from 1 meter distance and shouting; ‘’I don’t need to wear face mask, and if you don’t like leave the shop’’! Because we already had full trolley, so I just ignored her and was running all the shop around by trying to keep distance from her virus cough behind my back, but she and her young assistant, probably a daughter or granddaughter, was following us to the end until we paid £70 and left the shop, probably together with the virus, the one we luckily avoided since the spring 2020. In case if we will develop Corona virus in the next 2 weeks, we will sue this Spar shop for infection, because we always using 4 ply face masks and nitrile gloves, but shop owner started coughing and shouting directly in my eyes so sudden, that I felt drops on my face above my mask, sadly. As we spoke with our neighbours, everyone decided not to put a single foot in to the Spar anymore, especially because we have every week new Corona Virus infections in SS15. After the incident, I wrote to the SPAR head office, but received only 1 reply and nothing else, so decided to write this review, sorry. Spar Lawrence Hunt Watling Street Road Preston. Fantastic customer service at Post Office counter and in store with staff going out of their way to help me while I was on crutches from getting the door to doing and carrying my shopping.

The shop closes at 00:00 I entered the shop at 23:35 looking for a drink when I entered the guy working there shouted at me saying I need to hurry up because they are closed. When I was looking at a drink he was shouting hurry up and rushed me out the store saying he’s got places to be. Overall the experience was horrid and I wouldn’t go there again

I went to Piccadilly Gardens Manchester Spar today morning at 05.07am and the guy was exceptionally helpful. Voluntarily he helped me to find a colder drink.

Spar - Outwood Wakefield The best way is avoid shopping in this shop. The price tags no mach with price you'll pay at the till. Reported week ago and still the same issue today. Example: Redbull cactus price tag was £1.35 or 2 for £2.10. I've paid £1.99 each. This is only one example but you can find loads of product with wrong price. Manager is not really interested with the issues as they 'don't have a time to sort out prices' Tasha (store manager) is it time to do audit?

I shop at Eurospar @Carrick at least once a week. I first discovered this store when I moved to Carrick and was looking for a post office. Apparently, they have the best post office in the area, according to an award on the wall. I first took it with a pinch of salt but having posted half a dozen parcels, and buying office paper etc from the post office I came to understand they are indeed excellent like no other post office I know. It is about staff who take my business as if it is theirs. Before I moved to Carrickfergus I avoided Eurospar stores because there is Lidl, Tesco Extra and Sainsbury's where I do my shop. However, despite availability of those shops in my town I have become a fan of Carrick Eurospar. This is where I now buy my petrol and I buy my brioches, eggs and milk. They sell local baked products which I am a fan of., local berries in season are amazing. They are the only store within 10 miles distance from home selling Promise gluten free bread which I buy weekly. I enjoy visiting this store because the staff sincerely wants to help each and every customer. Each time I go there I am thinking it was a coincidence last time that staff was kind to me but they are consistently being the best. I wish we had more stores like Eurospar @Carrick! Whoever is training or hiring staff is a magician.

Old woman in there very rude and very disrespectful I won't be going back in there after five years not good.
