United States | 26 September 2021Do Not buy from Spectrum Boutique, here is why: Mirroring the other reviews on here. I wish I could leave a positive review. I really wanted to like this company, and I had already ordered from them multiple times when this issue occurred. I had loved what they stand for (on paper at least), but the reality is they have exceptionally terrible customer service and when there is any issue with the product (or in my case the shipment), they will do literally nothing to help you. I would describe the customer service experience as negligent, avoidant, and truly invalidating. In my situation, I placed an order, waited 2+ weeks (normal shipping length for them), and when I checked the tracking it said it was being returned to the seller. When I emailed Spectrum, they told me to contact UPS, I then spent hours on the phone dealing with the shipping company only to find out that the error came directly from Spectrum Boutique. When I provided ample documentation to support this, Spectrum still refused to refund me for the shipping & "restocking fee", so I ended up having to go through a bank dispute just to have them refund me in full. (Mind you, this is after I'd been an active customer for over a year) I filed a dispute through my bank to which Spectrum never responded, so the bank decided in my favor, but ultimately it took 2 months from when I made that actual order to when I finally got my full refund, and as you can tell I feel really sour about it because (like others here) I had been actively trying to support a small "ethical" business. But, potential customers should know that while Spectrum has some quality products & education on their social media, you may likely find yourself paying for a product that you never receive, which is what would have happened to me if I hadn't wasted hours submitting a bank dispute. For reference, I run a small business, I always try to put myself in the shoes of the seller, but still I would never treat a customer the way they treated me. And, it's really sad because customer service is the only thing that competes with big biz like Amazon -- unfortunately Spectrum does not stand up in this category at all. Their response (or lack there of) was in my opinion highly unethical as a business, and while I'm super bummed to have to leave a negative review like this, I don't want others to go through such a frustrating and time wasting experience, or to feel like money was stolen from you, which is how I felt through the whole process. After this experience, I would say that their business integrity is definitely questionable, and I think perhaps they should focus on sex education instead of running a shop, because it's not something they seem capable of doing properly at this time. Anyway, good luck to other customers on your sex-toy shopping adventure, cheers to us finding & supporting other small businesses that actually value and respect their customer base.

United States | 21 July 2021The first time I ordered Spectrum Boutique I was disappointed in the product. I gave them another try with ordering an educational book and the package never showed up. All I can get is passive aggressive emails from the store. They are no help at all, you're just throwing your money away and bringing frustration into your life. The policy for this on the website makes it clear that this is a very common issue that they don't intend on fixing.

United States | 15 July 2021Took forever to ship, then when I tried to cancel the order I got the old "Well it just went out this morning" and of course it's ups sure post so there is literally no tracking just "shipped." Was supposed to be for vacation, but now it will just be sitting on the front steps the whole time I'm gone. It was slightly more expensive from other sites and now I see why.

United States | 06 January 2021I’m a big fan of the products and education that Spectrum focuses on, however, if you live in a building that has any chance of having a package stolen, please do yourself a favor and don’t order from them or order to a secure location. They will not do anything to remedy the situation and will direct you to UPS, who will also tell you there’s nothing they can do. You’re better off ordering from Amazon if you might end up with an expensive package stolen and both companies involved telling you that you’re out of luck.
