United Kingdom | 21 August 2019I recently travelled from Gloucester to Highbridge Caravans,to view a motor home,which we had already confirmed was available. On our arrival we went to the motor home sales area and located the vehicle that we were primarily interested in,we were approached by a gentleman who introduced himself as a "greeter",who told us he would locate a salesman,who could help us,he returned within minutes to say "Ken would be with us shortly"and kindly supplied us with a welcome cup of coffee.This is the treatment we have always received from this company over the past thirty years we and other family members have dealt with the company. After almost an hour of waiting,"Ken" arrived, and began telling me obvious things about the vehicle, i.e. engine size,berths ect ,all of which I had already researched.I had to continually ask questions,and was answered in a way that I felt this man was less than proficient at his job. I asked if the vehicle would undergo any form of valeting,in the event of our purchasing it,and was told"We'll wash it,no polish,and do a bit of a clean up inside,but no cleaning of upholstery or the like. By this point both my wife and I were beginning question whether this vehicle was for us or not,and stated that we would prefer to pay a little more if necessary. He then asked what our part exchange consisted of,I stated that I had a Kia Sorento 2011,seven seater and a Swift Challenger 2011,both in me opinion in reasonable condition. He stated that the company didn't usually bother with Sorento's and that they usually give to their drivers to run into the ground.He then walked ahead of my wife and I,(which I found to be very rude) whilst informing me that it was just a matter of time before my vehicle became unserviceable, due to many apparent problems, in his opinion He stated that he would require the assistance of a colleague to inspect my vehicle,as he had no knowledge of cars.I explained that their were a few blemishes on my vehicle as should be expected.He and his colleague then commenced a total degradation of my car, suddenly "Ken "became an expert on cars ,and question whether the clutch had in fact been replaced,recently as I had informed him.By this time I am beginning to suspect that these two were in fact working as a double act to degrade my car,at One point "Ken was looking at my front tyre and appeared to have some concerns.I assured him as a retired Police Officer,they would find everything above board and legal.Ken the walked away saying "right lets have a look a some figure" I locked my car and had to ask a member of staff where we should go, as he had disappeared.We stood in the reception for a couple of minutes when he walked straight passed us,into an office,which we assumed we were to follow him into. He then left us in the office,and sat at the desk,and said "Right the car is £6000.00 max".I was shocked by this quote and stated that I did not feel that to be a fair offer,to which he replied" well that's it,I'm afraid.We won't be offended if you're not interested" My wife and I left having lost all trust and faith that we had always had prior to this incident.Both my wife and I found this man to be rude,totally unprofessional,and lacking in any form of customer relation skills.Despite us stating that we may be interested in a slightly higher priced vehicle,he offered no further assistance.I left feeling that he and his colleague had perhaps someone else in mind for the vehicle. I have, as stated dealt with this company for some years,and always rated them very highly ,for service, reliability,and honesty. Sadly "Ken" has in my mind ruined what has always been a trusting relationship between me,my family and friends and Highbridge due to his rude and arrogant manner,and I suspect some hidden agenda .We will no longer be dealing with the company,solely due to this "Salesman with attidude" Mr.T.G.Nash.

United Kingdom | 20 August 2019Stayed at a local caravan park for ten days and visited this outlet three times for part etc the parts department can't fault them but the awning shop guy couldn't be bothered unlocked the door at 09.05 then walked away without opening the door for the customers. We wanted a pair of poles but was told that they dont stock them yet one member of staff went and found some for us bought a kampa pump had no help with the usage of it this would have been nice went back as the fittings where wrong not there fault but ehen i returned there was no help to resolve this. All in all we never complain but expect a little more customer care when your spending you hard erned cash

The matting had curled a bit at the end due to transit but luckily I could trim off the end. In conclusion that is why I give 3 stars. Thank you

United Kingdom | 11 August 2019I have always brought items from Highbridge Caravans either in the shops down Somerset while on holiday or over the internet. I have never had a problems with them ever and they also give a discount to the Caravan and Motorhome Club Members not sure about the Camping and Caravanning Club but no harm in asking but you must show your cards for the discount at all times
