This was easy and pain free. We wanted a logo designed that would be sharp, clean and professional. We received 40+ designs from almost as many designers. The hardest part was narrowing it down to the final winner. My partners and I are all very happy with the final design.

Before I signed up to DesignCrowd, I already knew that there would be a lot of low-grade entries. I was very worried that I would put up quite a large amount of prize money, only to receive a pretty low grade of submissions. So, simply put, this is what actually happened: I submitted a very specific brief, asking for a specific number of animals and gave enough detail to at least expect reasonable entries. Of the 150 designs, most were duplicates, so this immediately became about 50 designs. Of the remaining 50, 30 were from people who clearly didn't bother to read the brief and were just re-purposing old designs that didn't win previous competitions. So now we were down to 20 designs. 15 of these designs were not of a reasonable quality. And that leaves just 5! Luckily, the remaining 5 designs were all on the right track, and with some targeted feedback, their 5 design entries evolved to better fit the brief. What I really got out of this process was a series of ideas that I hadn't thought of, as opposed to a series of decent quality designs. Ultimately, I'm fairly happy with my logo, but next time I would just ask one designer to do the work, and skip all of the rubbish. Luckily, I can also do that on DesignCrowd.

DesignCrowd far exceeded our expectations both with the response from graphic designers for our logo (we had 335 responses for our $300 "prize") and for the quality and creativity of some of the submissions. In addition, the site was so easy and flawless to use. We started out not committing the funds and quickly changed that after a day or two when it was obvious we were going to have only one problem - narrowing it down to the final design!

From the very start we were treated with a great deal of respect and kindness even though we requested them to all but start completely over at one point. Each designer that submitted a design showed great creativity and professionalism. Once we chose a design, the one presented by Corebros Studios, although we requested them to refine the design MANY times, they did so professionally and graciously. We love our final logo design and most certainly use DesignCrowd again and highly recommend others to use this company as well.

Great! I got just what I wanted. I was able to see dozens of designs and choose what I liked and then work on refining it until I was happy. I would use Design Crowd again for creating a logo or other graphic design.

The communication is great, but I wish that the process for having things like rack cards printed were more streamlined. Printing rack cards is not part of what they normally do and when I tried to pay for my cards, but got an error message.

Additional costs are higher. Things like making project private should be default. There is a $50 charge for making private. This is a private website and nothing should be made public.

A fellow translator told me about Designcrowd, so I decided to give it a go. At first I had the impression that my requirements were not met, but with the help of the customer service I updated my brief, after which the right designers joined in on the contest. I was amazed by the quality of the submissions and by the willingness of all the designers to adapt their work according to my suggestions. I am absolutely satisfied with the design I ended up chosing and would recommend this modus operandi.

Very interesting idea behind, and user-friendly layout. One point to fine-tune: every time i go to the webpage I have to start browsing the entire history of my messages with the designers in order to get to the latest update! And it takes a little trying before you identify where all the files to download are, at the end of the selection process...

I am so happy with all the projects I have had completed by this service. It is so awesome to have so many choices and they make it easy and affordable!

Design crowd is an awesome space to get as many ideas as possible. It is easy, fast, and reliable to get a design you want within days. But please do be careful in screening your designs. Because although design crowd provide space for a lot of great designers, some we noticed did try to copy something off on the internet and pass it off as their own.

Wow! Am I happy to have found DesignCrowd. I am producing a documentary with a very specific theme. I needed a logo and DesignCrowd was able to put my request out to the world for a fee a starving filmmaker could afford. I highly recommend DesignCrowd to anyone who wants a wide variety of excellent designs to chose from. WELL DONE!!
