He was polite and respectful to my home (eg taking shoes off) and he carried out an excellent repair on a chip in our bath, so much so that I can’t actually see where it was. A great service. The resurface on my bath looked good but it started to peel away after a few months. Of course I was not worried because the work was covered by their 5 Year Guarantee and I was issued the certificate. When I called them and emailed them, they said the work was not covered by the guarantee because the person who did the work no longer works from them. I have gone to trading standards now in a bid to get my money back. Although I would have been happier if they visited to fix the problem caused by poor workmanship. All the rubbish about the person not being part of mend a bath is very disappointing. I booked the work via Mend a bath and via your website.

Having recently purchased an old cottage in need of total renovation, we wanted to keep the original cast iron bath. David from Mendabath came earlier this week to complete a total renovation of the old bath. It looks like a new bath we are so happy with it. Highly recommend this company.

I have used Mendabath twice - the enamelling service is without question good - however be aware(!!!) that when they claim not to touch your plumbing it is not true. They visited my flat to re enamel my bath - prior to their visit there was no leakage and all pipes were firmly fitted. Whilst they were reenamelling they said the pipe under the bath was loose (it was not loose before they arrived!). They further stated that they had refitted it yet advised ‘that I should put some duct tape around it to make it extra secure!’. Once they left I looked under the bath / there were no loose pipes….yet when I ran a bath the following day my bathroom flooded - I had to call a plumber out. The plumber informed me that there were no loose pipes - they had actually unscrewed the pipe from the bath and then not refitted it back on straight. They refused to accept any liability for this or the additional plumbing costs (£80). I even offered to share the cost yet they showed no goodwill at all. Very disappointing as I had waited months and had used them twice in 4 years. The guarantee isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. Their reply is downright lies - they cancelled twice as Grant had a back problem and then Stephen had Covid. Utter nonsense.

Grant and David re enamelled our bath . They turned up on time and were very professional. Our old bath was tired , scratched and chipped in many places . They did a fantastic job and although it's 16 years old it now looks better than when we first had it installed. It's transformed out bathroom and looks fantastic.
