Since I was 11 years old (yes, eleven!), I’ve built websites, run projects, and dealt with every hosting company under the sun. Big names? Tried ‘em. Cheap plans? Fell for ‘em. Every single one treated me like a disposable number in their profit spreadsheet. Until Zume. Let’s get real for a second—most hosting companies? They make overhyped marketing, talk you while you checkout in order to pressure you into buying fast, then ghost you the second you hit “purchase.” Not Zume. From day one, they treated me like a human, not a dollar sign. I was nervous signing up, because “What if this is another letdown?”—but their team (shoutout to Ross, you legend!) welcomed me like I was their only customer (I'am not they have PLENTY from my knowledge). Even on the cheapest plan! No upselling, no condescending jargon—just genuine help. Fun story I asked about Dedicated IP if it was anything good, I was told that people buy mostly for bragging rights, save me some cash! Two months in almost three, I’m not just a customer—I’m now a huge fan. Their support replies faster than my mom’s texts and those are fast, solves issues in ONE message, and handle my “dumb” questions very well, they never make me feel unwanted or in the way. When I upgraded to their Business plan, the migration was smoother than my morning coffee. My site? It now loads in 500ms. And the resources? 2 vCPU + 2GB RAM for €7.50? Yeah, some might whine about pricing, but let’s be honest: you get what you pay for, and many hosts charge a lot upfront or €3-€4 for barely 500mb ram and a half core, there's even some that charge €19 and give you not even 1 GB ram. I upgraded to the Business plan 6 vCPU + 8GB RAM (€35/month) just because I wanted to support Zume even more and because I needed to make my business more GDPR compliant etc and be ready for future growth. That’s how much I trust them. Here’s the tea: If you’re still with a host that treats you like a nuisance, run. Zume isn’t just “good”—they’re revolutionary. No bots. No scripted replies. Just people who care. And Ross—He is the MVP. Zume’s not just a hosting company. They’re the gold standard. And the fact the support and sell .se domains! TL;DR: Ditch your current host. Today. Your future self will thank you. 💛

From day one when I was just setting everything up, throughout my journey of figuring how things work, to personal problems I had, their support was there to help ASAP, with a lot of patience and understanding, also clearly very educated and professional in their field of work. If you are located in a place under their service coverage I wouldn't waste time looking further!

United Kingdom | 17 January 2025Beyond thrilled I chose Zume. Customer service is the quickest I have ever known and I’ve tried a few of the big brands over the years. Ross kindly answered all of my pre purchase questions and even helped me to setup my Wordpress pro plan to make an easy transfer. Pricing structure is clear, fair and I love that I can pay monthly instead of annually. You truly feel you are getting your moneys worth. I have used other hosting companies and always had issues. So much so I chose the Wordpress pro options that are overpriced and it’s terribly slow customer service. It has been a while since I last done a transfer and in all honesty I couldn’t remember what I needed to do. But with the help of their tutorial pages and the amazing migration service (again wonderful and patient customer service) my website was painlessly transferred and everything put in the right place for me in just a few hours. I am so truly grateful and happy. So far my website is lovely and fast to load too. Truly no issues but I can safely say for the first time ever with a hosting company, I have trust and faith that I could ask just about anything to do with my website and I would receive help. I cannot recommend Zume enough!

Trying to quantify what each hosting company offers and how using their service fits in with day-to-day operations. I must say that I am over the moon to have selected Zume in early 2021. A local company, eco aware, fanatical support and a fantastic service at a very competitive price. I host the websites of around 50 local organisations on our package and I'm able to provide a service which allows these groups to achieve their strategic objectives, creates ROI and contributes towards the financial security of hundreds of employees. The service is reliable and allows me to keep up to date with the latest trends and standards. I honestly cannot thank Ross and the team enough for this fantastic service and all their hard work.

United Kingdom | 21 December 2024I previously had a site hosted with Bluehost, but after they wanted to charge me £300 for a year's renewal (after signing me up with a £50 for a year deal which they had not made clear was an introductory offer) I decided to switch hosts. Zume came recommended as a UK-based service, so I decided to give them a go. Among other benefits, they are also one of the few places that actually allows you to pay monthly rather than quoting a "monthly" fee and then only making it possible to pay for a year or more at a time. The team promises "same-day migration" and I suspect in most instances that will be the case. My migration ended up being slightly more complex than initially anticipated -- not helped along by Bluehost's Byzantine systems and somewhat inept support staff -- but Ross from Zume's customer service team provided exemplary service and even gave me a free month's hosting because the process took longer than anticipated/advertised. So far my website seems to be running faster and better, too. So a winner all round. Here's hoping a big company doesn't buy them and make them terrible!

United Kingdom | 20 November 2024I'd been thinking about changing hosts for years as my previous host was continually overcharging and their service and support was declining year on year. I saw positive recommendations for Zume on social media and tentatively decided to give them a try (only tentatively because my experience with other web hosts hasn't been great). But in less than 24 hours from signing up with them I had my domain, emails and website fully migrated and 100% fully functioning on my new Zume server. Ross is amazingly helpful and never once tried to oversell me a package I didn't need. He obviously knows his stuff and managed to migrate my slightly rusty outdated installation without anything breaking in less than 24 hours. My website also seems to be running so much faster and responsive on Zume. It's a breath of fresh air to find a host that really takes the headache and stress out of switching hosts. I only wish I'd made the switch to Zume years ago. When they say they handle domain migration with minimum disruption it's actually a genuine claim. I'll be staying with them long-term and also using Zume for some other projects I've got in the pipeline. 100% recommended!

I have just spent about a day and a half trying to fix a down site and migrate it from (and I'm going to name and shame) TSOhost to Fasthosts and what a bunch of monkeys! Just at the point where I was going to set myself on fire and jump out of the window, a friend in the same situation pointed me to Zume... and the angels sang and 'Ross' descended from the heavens (he was actually just on chat but go with the illusion) and got me sorted in literally 15 minutes from my initial 'HELP' yelp! Super polite, super calm, knew his stuff - a general legend. It's going to cost me more over the year, but I don't actually care because I am already confident that any issues will be sorted swiftly and I'm immediately their No. 1 fan!

When they said they were moving to 123 Reg, I decided it was time for the long overdue change I needed to make. I spent a good while looking into different hosting options, chatting with people on Reddit and elsewhere. Zume kept coming up as a solid choice. Everything I found online about Zume was positive, especially about their support. Now that I've been using them, I can say it's all true. I moved about a dozen domains over to their business web hosting, and it all went smoothly. When I needed to check on a few things with tech support, they were quick to respond and super helpful. Really glad I went with Zume. If you're looking for a good host with great tech support, I'd definitely recommend giving them a shot.

United Kingdom | 27 June 2024I was with a bunch of different registrars and hosting for about 12 years so I think it's fair for me to be able to comment on the difference. First of all, the support is out of this world. I had 3 "low priority" tickets for various things I wanted to do as and when it was possible. I'm not kidding when I say they were completed faster than most "high priority" tickets would usually be. The business Litespeed servers we're running with WP management are unbelievably fast, and really not expensive at all. It actually works out cheaper than what I was paying to run several things in different places, without the same security and much slower than Zume. Also got 12 years of emails from multiple accounts and domains transferred across within 24 hours, which I was really impressed with. To say I'm happy is an understatement and I would highly recommend Zume to anyone!

United Kingdom | 10 June 2024Just signed up and Zume have the fastest servers I've ever had, and I'm not even on one of their pricier packages. I've gone from 70-80 performance and shoddy customer service with my previous host, one of the big blue boys. To 100 performance and a lightning quick website. Zume are also very affordable.. I've only been using them several days but can't recommend enough.. Will update if there's any issues, but their knowledgeable online support quickly fixed a few hangover issues I had with my previous host.
