I own a small Gaff rig historic boat. Over the years I have purchased lots of hempex rope from R&W, now I want to buy a little more 1/4” hempex for a flag halyard, but you will not sell it to me unless I spend $50. that is outrageous. R&W has repeatedly fulfilled my rigging needs and designed solutions that have proven dependable and appropriate, including Genoa sheets fitted with eye splices and short Dyneema lines with which to secure the sheets to the Genoa, which allows the Genoa to avoid the fouling due to large bowline knots when coming about; also, a backup mooring line fitted with an eye splice for the deck cleat, anti-chafe protection, and an eye splice large enough for a Prusick knot attachment to the mooring line. All recommendations for running rigging have proven accurate. Work has been done as requested, on time, and without error.

We have been outfitting our sailboat at R&W Rope for many years. We just had new stays made and they were extremely well made and fit perfectly. Our purchase was for the Farragut FIRST Robotics Team (3140). We used it as a lifting cable for an arm on our robot that is used to lift the whole robot off the floor. The cable needed to lift about 150 lbs which was easy for the cord we bought. In the past we had used steel cable, but the Amsteel was much more flexible without kinking and lighter which was important to help us keep within the weight limits. We will definitely be using this in the future.

I never received the rope I ordered. I told the owner in the phone and he said he would discount my next order. Incorrect answer.. I ordered from another company. Don't bother with this company.
