Moved next day by different men all with different Spanish dialects from Guatemala, Mexico, & Venezuela. Team lead said he couldn’t even understand them all. Biggest poop sandwich ever & company tried to weasel out of any responsibility. Paid over $4k for the worst move ever. Lost silverware x 17 days — turns out it was still in old house. Put $200 office chair in pile to be trashed or sold. My guess is one of the movers needed a chair. Chair found, shredder reimbursed. Now 6 months later & have discovered all our Christmas decorations are not to be found. They are irreplaceable & this is our last Christmas with mom. Lost brother, sister, & niece & all their mementoes are gone. They tossed or stole them. Crying won’t bring them back. Glad this company went bankrupt — dishonest all around. 2 hours late to arrive, tried to leave before an entire room had been loaded then wanted me to pay for their screwups. I even tipped the jeks. VP showed up so something was already screwy & she played me that they would get it right. It was an awful experience by sorry ass company who lie like the rest of us breathe.

I always felt that I was under someone's care and they were invested in helping me make a major move with as little stress as possible. Every single person I dealt with went above and beyond. I told Theresa, my main coordinator, that she had become my BFF. The packers, Delian, Olga, Joana, Luis and Daniel were absolute professionals. Max and Jamarion were phenomenal. They moved me without complaint, in good humor and with great thoughtfulness. I have all good things to say about WayForth.

United States | 06 July 2023The workers that did my move did an outstanding job, it's the difference in my estimate and my actual cost that I have a problem with. It was estimated that it would take 4 workers 10 hours to complete my move plus a trip charge. I was charged from the time they left till the time they returned for a move that management planned for 2 days. That's being charged driving to the first location, loading, then driving back then driving to the second location, unloading, then driving back to the warehouse. I payed over $450.00 driving time. I was also charged $150 special handling for a washer & dryer and there was nothing special done with it, They used a regular hand truck and no wrapping. Nothing different than a regular piece of furniture. I wasn't told that there would be a special charge for a project manager when i signed my estimate paper. I was charged $133.00. Actual movers.. that's a 5. Management... that's a 1. Not very forth coming if you ask me.

Kathy Boykin (my initial consult) was a reassuring presence and helped calm my anxieties about my move, while Leslie Funk, my client guide manager who supervised the actual packing and moving, was very organized, calm, and thorough. There were a few delicate items she packed personally to ensure their safety during transit. She stationed the right members of her team in the right areas to make the most of their expertise, and the various packers and movers worked well together like a well-oiled machine. I couldn't be more pleased.

United States | 03 July 2022WAYFORTH IS A JOKE. NOT ONLY ARE THEY OUTRAGEOUSLLY OVER PRICED, COMMON SENSE WAS NOT EVEN USED IN PACKING UP MY BUSINESS. THEY WERE HIRED TO PACK ONLY PACK, NOT SWEEP UP, CLEAN, OR THROW OUT ANYTHING. VALUABLE AND IRREPLACEABLE SUPPLIES, NOTES AND PERSONAL ITEMS WERE FOUND IN THE DUMPSTER OR ARE ALL TOGETHER MISSING. THERE ARE OVER A DOZEN BOXES THAT WEIGH FROM 45 LBS TO OVER 100 LBS. THESE BOXES CONTAINED FRAIGLE GLASSWARE OR PAINTS, STAINS AND LIQUIDS. I LEFT SHRINK WRAP AND BEGGED, INSISTED, ENCOURAGED THAT IT BE USED TO KEEP THE 100S OF PIECES OF GLASSWARE ORGANIZED. IT WILL TAKE ME MONTHS TO UNDO THE CLUSTER OF A MESS THEY MADE. I HAVE SPOKEN TO SEVERAL CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE AND GOT DIZZY FROM THE NON ENDING MERRY GO ROUND THEY HAD ME ON FOR WEEKS WITH NO RESPONSE. A “MANAGEMNT “ PERSON ON A CONFRENCE CALL WITH THE LOCAL REP. FINALLY CALLED BUT THEY JUST CONTINUED TO JUSTIFY THEIR ACTIONS BY BLAMING ME FOR CONTINUING TO HAVE THEM FINISH THE JOB THEY STARTED..THEN I WAS TOLD IT WAS MY WORD AGAINST THEIRS ABOUT THE ITEMS THROWN OUT!!! I AM GETTING STATEMANTS FROM 4 DIFFERENT PEOPLE THAT WITNESSED THIS INCLUDING MY FRIEND THAT WENT DUMPSTER DIVING. HOW DARE WAYFORTH ACCUSE ME OF LYING! THEY SCREWED UP REPEATEDLY AND QUOTING ME THEY SCRIPTED POLICIES ISN’T GOING TO CUT IT. THEY HAVE PARALYZED MY BUSINESS AND INCOME. I RETURNED 40+/- OF THEIR PRECIOUS LOGO PRINTED BOXES. I WAS OFFERED SOME SORT OF “CREDIT” FOR DOING THIS, HOWEVER, THEY DON’T USE USED BOXES! WHY, HOW INCREDIBLLY WASTFUL AND WAY TO GO IN CONTRIBUTING TO GLOBALE WARMNING. I BE ASHAMBED AND EMBARRASSED IF THAT WAS COMPANY POLICY. MY LAST CONVERSATION WITH WAYFORTH CONCLUDED WITH THE LOCAL SALES REP CALLING ME BY THE WRONG NAME!!! I KNOW THIS MESS IS FAR FROM OVER AND AS I OPEN EVERY BOX I AM WAITING FOR THE NEXT SHOE TO DROP OR STUPID ISSUE TO REVEAL ITSELF. HIRE ANYONE BUT WAYFORTH!!!!~!

United States | 01 June 2022If you want to relocate, do yourself a big favor and don't hire this company. They are very dishonest, unreliable, and unprofessional. When I was planning to move to my new home, which was only 30 min away, the estimator came and she gave me an estimated quote of $5,000-$7,000 but not exceeding $7,000. Now they billed me over $14,000 and they also damaged a lot my dishes, antiques, and furniture. They are not taking responsibility for the damages. We had some big artwork that was framed and needed to be boxed. They measured those frames and told us that they would come back with boxes big enough to cover these frames. When they arrived, they packed everything else and kept the frames for last, which resulted in them not having boxes big enough for the frames. Because of this, they had to disassemble and refabricate the boxes to the right sizes. With about 10 employees, they were standing there for over 2 hours until the boxes were ready to be packed, which they charged me for those 2 hours that they made the mistake for. I am very unhappy with this experience. I had many issues during the process with being quoted a different price, each time higher than the last. This move happened in November 2021 and they still have not tried to resolve these issues, especially regarding my damaged property. I would not recommend this moving company to ANYBODY.

My bill, however, was $215 after Lori Furstenburg taked on truck time and “administration”.

United States | 08 October 2020I have to let you know about an issue with Wayforth moving. They quoted me $2500 for the move for my mom from Cardinal Pond to Maple Grove. I was shocked when I received an invoice over $5300. I called and emailed them repeatedly over the past month and a half asking for an explanation of the charges. I received no response until this week. Deanna told me to call her. I told her I wanted an explanation of the charges. She had no answers. Today Andrea called me and said the move out charges were wrong and they combined the hours with another move out so mom's move out would drop to $1,400. I asked her about the clean out charges since there was never any mention of this charge during the quote. She said that was for the items left in the apartment. I told her we were there when the apartment was emptied and there were no items left. She called me back and appologized again saying they were for a different move out of Maple Grove and should not have been posted to mom's invoice. So now her $5300 invoice is down to $2281, which is completely reasonable. I told them I would let you know about this since they are the sole providers to Maple Grove. If my mom had gotten this invoice she would have just paid it. This is totally unacceptable. They can't keep track of their movers' time or which apartment their charges are going to. I wonder how many other moves were over charged.

United States | 26 August 2020I am transitioning my mom to an assisted living facility and received word of a last minute opening in her community. I called WayForth and spoke with Jan who was absolutely AMAZING at working to try and find a last minute opening to move my mom. Not only was Jan able to find an opening but the two gentlemen who moved us, Eddy & Paul were absolutely FANTASTIC! They were incredibly professional and more importantly, very caring for my mother's personal belongings! I was talking to these gentleman during the move and thanked them for all of their help! Paul quickly and genuinely said "When you’re in need of help, WE’RE HERE for you!”….I honestly about lost it! Even now, it makes me emotional because of the gut punch it had on me on how we should ALL want to help someone. Thank you to the entire WayForth team for making this emotional transition seamless and more importantly for making me and my family feel completed cared for.

Her physical and mental health deteriorated during the pandemic and it became necessary to move her to Assisted Living. I dealt with several different people who coordinated the move, assisted with furniture selection, packing and unpacking. Since I wasn’t allowed into her new building I had to rely on strangers. Lori M was awesome. After the move she continued to remain available. She even sent a list of where she had placed things so I could assist from a distance if Mom couldn’t find things. Moving a loved one during a pandemic is not a pleasant experience. Wayforth made it easier and did everything possible to put all of us at ease. Thank you to everyone involved in this move.

United States | 21 July 2020Scam! business is very unprofessional stole my furniture would not call me back i lost everything i had in storage to these animals they try and act like there here to help it was so easy to talk to them when they wanted my money. when i wanted my stuff back they ghosted me would not return emails or phone calls i received and email 2months!! after i emailed them. There email stating that my last payment was late so they are auctioning my things!!! Well yes after countless emails to get my stuff back because i needed it and no longer wanted to pay my storage bills. I waited 2 months before i finally said i was not going to pay the storage bill and that's when they finally emailed me back to steal my stuff! this is a huge scam i lost thousands.! my stuff was no where cheap and neither was the storage bill i was paying for 8 months not to mention all the guys at the business my stuff was stored at i got a hold of one of them wich they informed me wayforth fired the all on the spot!! So a lot of the customers are having the same issues im having so your telling me during this covid you fired all the movers to deliver my stuff. Wich is so rude to all the poor guys that are going to struggle to get by but also then cut off all ways of contact too you guys so us customers loose everything we own Wayforth you mention on your page your about your team and us customers when in the past 5 months you ruined tons of people life's on your team and scammed thousands from your customers. you guys are something else the worst company I've ever dealt with Please if your reading this don't trust these people
