Never got picked up at Cancun airport, claimed too long in customs like it is our fault. Then they charge you again another $150 to send driver back(like he ever left) or you lose the return trip which is all prepaid in advance as well.Total scam.

Shuttle Central basically forgot our shuttle (booked weeks in advance). They lied multiple times on the phone and eventually sent a driver from a different company one hour later.

I should have checked the reviews for them before booking. On the day of departure, we had scheduled a 9:45am pick up. He came at 9:40am and thats when his time started. we were in the checkout process when they had to cut everyone's bracelet. Heading to the van, we saw our luggage still not in the van, i slid the side door open and I said hey don't forget our luggage, he said he needed to go and to call the office. I called and the office said I can send someone else but i would need to pay an additional $40. USD. That was so ridiculous. We winded up getting two UBERS. Don't use SHUTTLE CENTRAL in CANCUN, they will mess up your trip and tey to get more money out of you.

Shuttle Central left me and my children stranded in Cancun at 1am in the morning. We had a delay in our flight due to weather conditions in Texas. I text my driver to let him know, he advised me to contact customer service. I called customer service, but they would not help because I did not have my reservation number so after finding this I called back, let them know what was happening, how long the delay was and let them know what time we would be in, they advised they would inform the driver and let me know further instructions. When we arrived in Cancun, we were told by Shuttle central that we were a no show and there was nothing they could do, it was the driver’s discretion to whether they waited or not. It also means nothing if you contact them to let them know, the driver shows up and they get paid! I ended up paying $110 for a taxi. On the way back from the hotel to the airport, they just forgot us. We ended up getting an Uber (FYI Uber cannot pick you up from the airport) Shuttle central did send me an email apologizing for this and offered my money back for this portion of what I had paid. I emailed back asking about the first part of my airport transfer and my reply was. Upon reviewing your case thoroughly, we have noted that the situation arose from No Show on your arrival service. This is because the waiting time of the scheduled service was exceeded, and unfortunately it was not possible for the driver to wait more time for you. Unfortunately, due to these circumstances, with the services marked as “No Show” we are unable to proceed with any form of compensation. In this case, we can verify that the driver came to pick you up and was at the airport at the original time, but he couldn't wait for the delayed flight. That's the main reason why we could not manage a refund, really sorry for this inconvenience. On the other hand, talking about the changes requested 24 hours before your service (Including flight changes), note that they are under the driver's availability, in your case it wasn't possible to make it because he had scheduled other services before yours, and he had been unable to modify the logistics. Nice reply Shuttle central but you could have just said “Basically you are just screwed if your driver does not want to wait for you” and we will not do a damn thing about it. They ended the email with that they value my trust and hope that they can provide excellent service to me in the future. What a joke!!! I will NEVER use Shuttle Central again. I will make it clear to anybody how useless this company is in what should be an important job. Especially for families (including single parents like me) in a foreign country. How we put the safety of ourselves and our children in them. I cannot stress enough NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! Unless of course you like not knowing if your ride will show up or you can control the weather, so your flight is not delayed!

They never came. I had to find another ride service after waiting 30 minutes for them. They were not answering via phone or chat on their website. I had all hotel lobby employees looking for them. Then when I called to complain, they lied and said they were there and waited 15 minutes! Complete lie! Horrible company. I would give zero stars if I could

20 minutes late and the customer service was not clear with me. The driver was texting and making video calls while driving and left us in the wrong terminal (there are only two).

DO NOT TRUST THIS SERVICE! my flight was delayed both directions and they marked me as a no show. No refund or assistance given. Do not trust this company. booked through Expedia - they will not help either. Very disappointing. Thieves who take your pre-payment and run

The driver did not wait for us in Cancun, even though all other companies waited for their clients, as there were problems at the border control, which caused huge queues. No reimbursement, no sense of responsibility, in the way back rude drivers. Beware!!!

Our return flight home changed because of problems with the airplane and our departure time was delayed from March 4 at 10:05 pm to March 5 at 2:45 am. I contacted Shuttle Central and keep them updated with the ongoing changes as i wanted to delay my pickup from our resort from 5:17 pm ti 10pm. I was told the driver could not accomodate us B/C it was less than 24 hours notice but for another $110 U.S. they could book me another driver and no refund. I just rented a taxi which cost me basically the same and i didnt need to deal with the stress and bad servie with this company. They were also late picking up my wife and child from the airport. there answer there was an accident, i think this is there go to excuse. Stay away from this service.

Prepaid for luxury suv private they sent a Prius tiny car would not work for me and they refused to send larger transport so it cost me an additional 100 dollars from different company and no refund !! Rip off stay away , lies lies

Used this service in Montego Bay Jamaica. Terrible customer service. On my return trip from the resort to the hotel the shuttle never showed up. Waited 40min after my scheduled pick up. Called customer services 3 times to ask ETA. They couldn't even locate the driver. Don't use this service.

Terrible service! I booked twice days in advance.the first pick up was for my 80+ year old parents, the service was over an hour late! The second booking was for my partner and kids and the driver didn't show up, had to wait over an hour and then get another random taxi which cost us a fortune!!!!! They are all scammers! Do not use this company!

We had a great experience with Shuttle Central to and from our resort and the Cancun airport. Drivers were on time, kind, and tried to make us comfortable by asking for our A/C preferences and conversating with us in the best English they knew. They were focused on the road which is a necessity because the driving in Mexico is unique- not very many signs or lights and a lot more of guessing and anticipating drivers' next moves. So I highly recommend not renting a car and instead using a transportation service that hires people who actually knows the roads and how to maneuver through them. I see in the comments that others had troubles in that their drivers either arrived late or did not arrive at all, but both of our drivers arrived and were on-time. The company gave me text, email, and app updates for my appointment times and allowed me to put in any necessary information (like how many passengers, etc.) over the app. The drivers loaded all of our belongings and kindly served us. I did feel like some of their driving decisions were a bit risky, but that is probably because I do not understand the driving etiquettes of the country. In any case, our experience was very smooth and we would use Shuttle Central again for our transportation needs.

The worst. No shuttle. No help from staff. Had to pay triple for a cab. After giving Shuttle Central my fee.Refund???? Hah, U suck trump balls.

Terrible customer service! I had a private transfer booked through them from my hotel to Punta Cana airport. I was waiting out the front of the hotel lobby 15 minutes before my scheduled collection and the driver didn't show. When I contacted them to find out where my driver was, I was told that I didn't show! They were totally disinterested in sorting the problem and just kept telling me I didn't show, so I ended up having to sort out alternative transport at extra expense. Given how unresponsive they were at establishing where my driver was, I can imagine getting a refund is going to be an easy task.

They ask for more information, i send it by email as requested, they do nothing but ask e for the same information again, so far their management is rubbish. I booked a return trip and the airport pick up was fin and nice driver. My return to the airport is in 2 days and they still have my pick up time the same as my flight time. Grrrrrrrr

Run from this company. The driver never picked us up for our ride to airport. After hanging up on me 3 times they told me get a taxi, keep the receipt and we will reimburse you and then hung up on me again. Never mind how stressful it was grabbing a taxi on short notice and praying we would not miss our flight. Now with receipt and screen shots of outgoing calls to them and messages on messenger submitted to them they are refusing to reimburse us for the taxi. Also, this does not appear to be a business with actual employees. It appears to be a very poorly run lyft or uber service where they just call around to local drivers and see if they can get someone to pick you up.

We booked a private transfer with Holiday Extras with this company. On the booking receipt it states that they will wait up to 120 mins for you. Our flight was delayed 60 mins and after collecting luggage proceeded to pick up point. We spent 20 mins looking for a rep with great difficulty then when found her to be told they had left because our flight was late, By this time we still hadn’t reached the 120 mins. After a lot of unsuccessful dialogue we were told we would have to make our own arrangements there was nothing the rep could do. After a 10 hr flight, standing in the blazing Mexico sun while this was going on we then had to fork out a 120 dollars for a taxi, Our return trip they picked us up five and a half hrs prior to our flight - the journey to airport taking 45 mins. The whole point of private transfers is suppose to be stress free - this was a complete shambles. Surely with the resources out there they could track flights - never again
