i was not able to renew my mortgage due to my credit rating but was given advice on how to try to help myself to rectify this issue the mortgage adviser i delt with took the time to help me and i am very grateful for that Thank you Samson i fully recommend Nesto to anyone looking for a beter mortgage rate

Better rate than the "big banks." The best rate my bank could give me was 2.7%. That's the "special rate." Really???? Save $$$$!!! Call Nesto! Kelly and Tanya will look after you! They are phenomenal!! They take you step by step through the process. If you have any questions, just call or email. They get back to you very fast! (Unlike the "big banks, where you'll be treated just like another number.) Here, they actually CARE about their clients!

I had a more complicated case of mortgage renewal -- wanted to renew early for better rates, but took a pay cut so had to bump up the mortgage term in order to afford it. I filled out an application, but thought it was not worth the work and cost to renew early after doing some math. Still, I got a call back from Samson, and decided to hear my options. To my surprise, he also suggested that it was not worth renewing, and offered me a few helpful tips based on his knowledge of my current lender. It was a nice surprise to hear the honest and knowledgeable opinions from an agent. Definitely looking forward to work with Nesto and Samson the next time around!

Taux excellents / pauvre service apres obtention du pret. Il a fallu plusieurs semaines/mois avant de réunir tous les documents. Par ailleurs, le point le plus faible est le service/soutien après l'obtention du prêt. Je n'ai pas pu trouver une façon de communiquer avec le prêteur... quand j'ai demandé de l'aide à l'un des agents de Nesto, je n'ai pas eu de soutien autre de me dire de communiquer avec le prêteur (alors que le problème était justement là).

Ils ont de très bons taux mais le services à la clientèle est absurde et ils sont vraiment perdus dans leurs dossiers. Ils sont impossible à rejoindre une fois l'application faite. Aucun retour d'appel lorsque c'est nécessaire. Le même agent te rappelle quelques jours plus tard à savoir ce qui me retient de signé l'entente avec eux malgré le faite que celle-ci soit signé et en attente d'information de sa part... Toujours sans réponse à mes questions...

From start to finish our whole application with Nesto has been effortless and stress free. As a first time buyer with a very strict budget I did a lot of thorough initial research and met/spoke with half a dozen different mortgage "specialists" and advisors, from independents to top six banking institutions. Each time the advice we were given contradicted the last and left me feeling incredibly unsure as to what the process would involve and if we (myself & my wife) would realistically be approved. Then we came across Nesto through an article on a national news site and from start to finish they have been fantastic. Tom Antonick was the broker we were paired with and his advice and honesty was worlds apart from the muddle of answers I'd been given previously. He talked through the process in plain English, was always contactable and got us a wonderful rate (especially considering we are fairly new to Canada and first time buyers) and really made everything low stress. We then got continued support from mortgage processor Alin Ayvatyan who continued the consistent feedback and help we needed to get the deal done. For risk averse people like myself trying to purchase their first home, the prospect of borrowing the sums needed to purchase a home and the legal process involved can be very daunting, but the team at Nesto made everything very straightforward and easy. We cant recommend them enough!

Lorsque j'ai parlé pour la 1re fois un agent de chez nesto, le 18 février dernier, on m'a gelé un taux de 2.64 % fermé, fixe pour 5 ans, jusqu'au 29 juillet prochain. J'ai réussi à obtenir toute la substancielle documentation qu'ils m'ont demandé en moins d'une semaine. Si on m'avais spécifié que je n'avais qu'à deposer mes talons de paye et mes pièces d'identité pour geler mon taux, je l'aurais fait, mais on ne m'a rien dit. On m'a appelé pour m'informer que mon agent ne travaillait plus là et que je serais servi par quelqu'un d'autre. J'ai eu la surprise que mon taux était rendu à 2.79 %. L'agent me dit qu'elle va voir ce qu'elle peut faire. Elle me revient en me disant qu'elle a négocié un taux à 2.69 %, mais que je devrai signer en avril, mais ils savent que mon contrat sera à maturité en juillet prochain, sans égards à la pénalité de quelques milliers de dollars que cela me causerait. Ils ont accès aux enregistrements des conversation et savent que l'agent ne m'a pas donné toute l'information, mais ils disent ne pas pouvoir y faire quoi que ce soit. Le pire est que l'ont m'avais dit que c'est Nesto qui allait devenir mon prêteur. Le lendemain après avoir demandé à parler à un chef d'équipe, on m'écrit un courriel pour m'offrir 500 $ pour que je signe... Je ne suis même pas cliente chez eux et ils me battent avec le gros bout du bâton. Je n'ose pas imaginer si ma créance hypothécaire leur appartenait, comment ils n'hésiteraient pas à me mettre dans le pétrin en cas de problème. Je n'arrive pas à croire que c'est le genre de service à la clientèle qu'ils donnent. Le lien de confiance est brisé. Nesto n'aura plus JAMAIS ma confiance. Mise à jour le 4 avril 2022 : Ils me répondent qu'ils ne pouvaient pas me fixer un taux parce que je ne leurs avais pas fourni les documents ? Si on m'avait dit que je n'avais qu'à fournir mon dernier talon de paye ainsi que deux pièces d'identité; ce qui est assez facile à avoir, je l'aurais fait. Comme toute personne organisée, j'ai ramassé les documents et j'ai déposé le tout lorsque je les ai tous eu ou à 99 % (lettre d'emploi gouvernementale difficile à obtenir). Ce n'est pas le cas qu'ils veulent bien laisser croire. N'est-ce pas à eux de m'informer ? Ils ont manqué à leur devoir d'information, ce qu'un courtier doit s'assurer de démontrer à ses clients

As a mortgage agent myself, I was interested to see what Nesto was all about and gave them a try after a couple of bad experiences with mortgage “specialists” from the banks. I can say that Nesto has hired an excellent team of industry professionals. Samson actually pinpointed the right lender for me right away even though the algorithm suggested an alternative. The rate he secured for us was one of the best in the market at the time. He was able to work with the underwriter to get some exceptions in my non-traditional scenario so his relationships are clearly well developed. Alin took over as my loan processor and navigated a difficult last minute situation, even calling me late on a Friday night to tell me our file was finally complete - much appreciated! The online pre-screening process and document collection portal made everything really easy. We’re set to close next Friday and I am really glad I reached out to Nesto. Thank you again Samson and Alin!

Les gens sont gentils, sympatiques et cordiales. Cependant, le processus pour l'obtention d'une hypothèque est hautement désagréable. On vous demande des dizaines de documents et comme un prêteur ne prend AUCUN risque on vous redemande encore d'autre documents par dessus documents qui n'ont aucun rapport avec le prêt en tant que tel. Le processus m'a fait détester l'entreprise. Je ne recommande pas. Est-ce que ca vaut la peine de se faire suer avec autant de preuves pour avoir une simple hypothèque? Pour économiser 0,1%, pas du tout. Passer par votre banque.

As our first home purchase, me and my wife chose NESTO because of their good rates. At the beginning, I didn’t really know what to expect with an online mortgage company. But as I go through the application, I quickly realized how easy and convenient it is. The submission of documents was very straight forward, wherein you can also track your progress. Plus, I got exceptional customer support from Melanie and Stephanie throughout the application process. In the end, the application was approved days before the deadline with the rate we’re hoping for. I never imagined it would be this simple.

I found the online process less appealing than the traditional face-to-face with a broker. But otherwise, it all worked out, and am happy with the results. Samson was great. Very helpful and very patient. I am 79 and not as sharp as I used to be but his patience was appreciated.

Flat-out disastrous experience with Nesto. The customer service staff are great at the beginning of the process, but unfortunately it gets worse just when access to you mortgage broker and their support is essential : when an offer is about to be made. Many calls and emails went unanswered the day before we made an offer, when we needed an ajustment to our pre-approval letter. Each call that day was met with different explanations... when we were able to get the line. The first three times, Nesto hung up after 15 minutes of waiting. When we finally managed to speak to someone, we were told our broker Charles Audy had not yet started his day, that he would call us ASAP, and that it was "impossible" to speak to another broker. Then the agent made an appointment for us to speak with Charles. He never called us back at the set time of the appointment. When I called Nesto 45 minutes later, I was told that he was finishing another call, and that he would call us right back - which was not the case. I called again, only to learn that the broker in question was off that day. No one would have called me back, and I would not have been transferred to another broker, despite me stating that this was urgent. The next broker assigned to us - it was now the end of the day - finally admitted over the phone that his colleague had made mistakes in the initial preparation of our file. The next day, the pre-approval letter we had been promised finally arrived, a few hours late... and above all with the wrong amounts. This forced us to look for a plan B within hours of a purchase offer. We will not do business with Nesto ever again.
