I deeply regret trusting GreenGeeks with my hosting and domain transfer needs. Their support team’s incompetence caused a week-long email outage, which severely impacted my business operations and cost me critical income. Despite repeatedly flagging the email issue, three different support specialists failed to investigate or resolve the problem. It wasn’t until I demanded a phone call days later that the root issue was identified and fixed within minutes. This level of negligence is unacceptable. Even worse, GreenGeeks refuses to take accountability for their mistakes. They continue to deflect blame and ignore the fact that their team overlooked my concerns, despite repeated follow-ups. As a result, I lost access to an entire week’s worth of emails, damaging client relationships and halting essential communications. Their dismissive attitude toward customer complaints and refusal to acknowledge their role in this fiasco show a complete lack of professionalism and care. I expected better from a company that claims to prioritize customer service. Avoid GreenGeeks at all costs if you value your time, your business, and reliable support. I would not wish this experience on anyone.

Worst company ever. Clueless support team. Limited features. They lure you in with their low prices and when your site gets more traffic, they make up random rules and threaten to shut down your server if you don't switch to their VPS services. Stay way.

The quality of their service and support had been dwindling over the years to the point that it was too much hassle (and expensive) to stay with them. I was referred to GreenGeeks by my previous hosting company that is shutting down operations. I asked, of all the companies, why should I choose GreenGeeks and the owner's answer was, "I use them and they have good support. GoDaddy is just popular to folks." I did my own research anyway and GreenGeeks continued to appear in at the top of lists for best web hosting company from many sources. True to his word, GreenGeeks has excellent support! I was able to chat with an associate quickly when I had trouble with a detail for my domain, and he solved my problem quickly. Then he showed me how to transfer my domain, and the whole process was completed within a day or two. I got progress report emails along the way and check-in emails with offers to help me. I really appreciate the personal touch!

I've been a loyal GG VPS customer for several years, consistently opting for their premium VPS services. However, my website has been unexpectedly down for the past 11 hours. Despite raising a ticket (Ticket #LQG-679-58920), the only update provided is a generic 'team is working on it.' This prolonged outage has severely impacted my business, particularly during our crucial sales season. As a tech company, GG VPS should have a robust backup plan to prevent such prolonged outages. Unfortunately, I still have no clear indication of when this issue will be resolved.
