United Kingdom | 15 January 2025We had to use Vonage as our VOIP provider as a result of their tie up with We Work. Vonage's service is not existent and they don't respond. I requested on multiple times to close my account as we no longer used their offering. They asked me to pay a bill prior to it being closed, which I did. Following on from this I was contacted by Creditlink Account Solutions chasing me to pay a bill I hadn't received, but more importantly was AFTER they said they would close the account. They take over a month to respond to the debt collecting agency they engaged. That will give you an idea of how long they will take to respond to your enquiries!

United Kingdom | 11 January 2025Second review mainly to warn people. This is up there as the worst supplier on the basics required in business I have ever experienced across any of my businesses. I have been battling for months to simply change a company name, invoice details and bank account. Then when any action does take place it is always wrong (like quoting 2 companies on an invoice where one doesn't even exist) then they chase me for payment without providing an invoice for a company that exists but credit control cannot obviously speak to another team, you must try the chat system for the 15th time! It is awful, time zapping and as a customer you cannot talk to anyone, bar credit control of course as happy to communicate by telephone for credit control and sales ONLY. I point blank refuse to attempt that chat support only option again as attempted it so many times now. Beware this company are truly tragic and no-one to talk to or resolve issues. Vonage I have raised a complaint and will happily speak to you but a phone company that doesn't use phone communication seems beyond ridicules. 07908 988388.

Started off pretty good dealing with a gentleman, then he left and we were left stuck with no help trying to make changes we could not make. Contacted the customer services a couple of times and they were pretty useless, few days later tried again and reached Ange, she was very patient with me and finally got our issue resolved, if someone less helpful had reached us we may not have resolved our issue which may have led to us looking else were so thankfully she did.

United Kingdom | 06 December 2024Complete joke. Customer service for small business is virtually non-existent. Have been trying to close the account for 4 months. Told the account is being closed and this is the final month of billing, only to be keep being billed. No follow up communication. Formal complaint required. ** Update - after a formal complaint, vonage confirmed the account closed with no further outstanding balance to pay. They have now sold on a ‘balance due’ to a credit recovery agency, C.A.R.S. I will supply the evidence showing vonage confirmed no balance to pay. But it’s very frustrating to now have to jump through another hoop after being a customer for 3 years. I can only assume it’s incompetence or a punitive response to a complaint. ** there’s plenty of other services out there, after my experience I couldn’t recommend this company less.

However, they will contact you on your personal numbers to process the payment without prior notice. They are requesting to set up a Direct Debit that is already in place. Additionally, they have threatened to suspend our service, potentially leading to cancellation, over a mere £40, despite our subscription being active for almost five years.
