Excellent delivery on time and very friendly. I've never dared to cook the Beef Wellinton myself as I worry about ruining an expensive fillet. So it was potentially an extravegant risk to order it for a special Valentine's evening meal however I followed the instructions and we loved it. Rare tender and delicious. Thank you very much.

Got everything I needed and was delivered on time

the beef wellington gets so over cooked on the side / ends before internal temp at centre hit 60c the timings were right for middle temp but sadly so over done on edges , the probe i have is not cheap and i use it a lot ...NOT one i would buy again at the price .... BUT unless you try you wont know ......

No matter what I select for my click and collect orders, I know the taste and quality will be great. The choices are varied, so I can have meals I wouldn't necessarily cook myself. The service at my local branch is always friendly and efficient.

Lovely meal, Nice and easy particularly one friend is vegetarian. One problem though as I have Diabetes type I , I had to make my own pudding. Sweets need o have no more than 5% sugar for us. Can be done easily with half sugar or sweetener products. So I made my own panacotta!!! Delivery was great.

I’m afraid a negative comment. My order was confirmed with a day and time slot. Unfortunately your delivery driver left the order at the wrong house. The property owner was away and was being looked after by a house sitter, the house sitter was not aware that the order was not for the owner until she had put the items away and then looked at the receipt seeing that it was not for her employer. She then repacked the items and brought the order to me. I’m surprised as I have been a Cook customer for many years and hope to continue. Please advise your driver to be more careful next time.

I’ve ordered from cook a few times and it’s pretty good. Some meals are better than others and most need a bit of extra salt & pepper so there is a bit of trial and error. A few meals also aren’t filling enough for me and need a couple of sides to go with it. If you want quick healthy meals it’s worth a try but remember which ones you like and don’t like for any other orders.

We had Moroccan spiced chicken which tasted perfect t. Couscous too, though two packs is enough for 8 people.

The food we had from Cook a couple of years ago was decent and we decided to get some for Vday as well as 3 desserts to try out since we were sick of ordering in. We got the duck and pear parcels for a starter and lasagna for a main, also Macaroni cheese to have in the freezer which I’m really regretting. The lasagna had a whopping 2 pasta sheets, filled with paste-like white sauce and gristly bits of mince. As we had nothing else to have for dinner I finished about a third before I had to put it down because it made me feel queasy. Greasy and hurt my stomach, I ended up getting takeout. The desserts were 2 hot chocolate puddings, a lemon tart and 2 mango & passionfruit cheesecake pots. The first was okay, though my wife said it had a phlegm-like quality, sort of pub-like, and filled me up as I waited for my takeout to arrive. The next night we tried the cheesecake which reminded me of something I once had in hospital, and the lemon tart had an aftertaste of.. I don’t know, lemon lollipops and lard? I actually haven’t had to rinse my mouth like that in a long time. We had a tiny teaspoon each and tossed it in the trash. I’m sure someone could chalk it up to shrinkflation and my spoiled stomach, but we wont be ordering from Cook again. Worst investment of the year so far.

The food is great, but why use plastic packaging when there are alternatives? It's not just an environmental but also a health hazard. I'd buy more often otherwise.

Since we had a baby it's really no time to cook but we do love fresh, homemade food. So, Cook is just a wonderful solution! P. S. Their apple and berry crumble desert is particularly divine!

We have always enjoyed your meals, but had the Chicken & Leek Pie, very disappointing, all we could taste was the potato topping, not even a hint of Leek or Chicken

I ordered the luxury valentine meal for two. Three cheese souffle starter was delicious I served it with a green salad with apple & walnut. Delicious. Beef Wellington, again delicious Served with Dolphaine potatoes, trio of green vegatables & red cabbage, again delicious And dessert berry mousse. Lovely and lite . We normally go out for a Valentine's meal but due to me having hip surgery we decided to stay home Cooks meal are very good value. We have had a few meals. Our daughter in law bought us a voucher.
