Getting help to find out how to read my glasses prescription wasn't an easy thing to do online. I left several emails that were left unanswered so in the end I called one of the stores and the person who answered the phone was awesome and told exactly the bits I needed to fill out. After that is was incredibly easy so even though there was that initial hiccup I still give it 5 stars

Such a great experience dealing with the lovely staff at Dresden. Both my husband and I recently purchased glasses from them, and the in-store service, as well as email correspondence following my purchase, was fantastic. Such a quick and seamless turnaround. I will be going back to purchase my prescription sunglasses shortly, and look forward to visiting the lovely store on Smith St.

I really wanted to love Dresden - but the experience just came up short. Eye test was experience was fine - and the prescription was as expected. However the glasses in my opinion are just poor quality / expensive compared to those that can be purchased from the chemist. Play in the frames is ridiculous - with arms flopping about, and the storage ouch is extra (sorry, cardboard box is not a case!) Follow up at Ponsonby store was poor - had to chase up a pair of glasses that were getting the lenses added - been there seberal days with no contact. You felt that entering the store was an inconvenience to the staff on their phones. Love new business models - but this to me is a major miss. Need to get the basics right and the quality of the product way up.

Painful to wear. The arms are very thick, square, rigid and constantly hurt the top of my ears. They did give me a replacement paid of arms but it helped vey little and were not in the colour I liked. The price was cheap overall but not much help if you can’t wear them.

Initially I thought the frames were very light, maybe even TOO light, but then I realized all my glasses previously were just heavy! A few months in now, I find they hold up remarkably well. Aside from the glasses themselves, I wanted to note how awesome the Dresden customer service was - they didn't have the color arms I requested, but they reached out and QUICKLY ran me through some options, photographed it, I approved, and the tracking details were in my inbox ~20 minutes later. ♥️

Absolutely love my new glasses, it was the best eye test I have ever had and the prescription is perfect. I have had so many comments on my new glasses and love the flexibility of the product and that I can buy new items online. The delivery service was brilliant. They do tend to get dirty easily - however, the glasses cleaner cleans my glasses perfectly. Well done, I can recommend Dresden enough.

You can even get glasses with recycled content, they will replace and recycle any parts, friendly, have good connections to health funds so my glasses cost me nothing extra
