Excellent service. Michael arrived punctually at my new build in Glasgow last Friday. I was very impressed as I watched him in action. He identified 113 issues in my so-called luxury development, after the developers had repeatedly promised I would have virtually no snagging! He spent about 2 and a half hours in my property then emailed me the report within an hour or so of his departure. Did not respond despite initially open to doing the work on our new home Now left us rushing and panicking to get our snag list done within the deadline period

We had a survey of a new build done this week and we are deep into Scotland so the reach of the organisation is UK wide. They were extremely professional and knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. The report was instant following their extensive review and it was highly detailed with photographic evidence to isolate the issue for easy detection. I would have no hesitation in recommending their services to anyone requiring a snagging survey, very cost effective too.

We had been unsure of our exchange date which was then quickly put upon us and were keen to have our snag survey completed before we completed and so contacted Michael. Michael completed the survey and we had the report the next day unveiling 124 snags of which many we may not of picked up on ourselves! We were so impressed with the service we received and do reasonably priced too A big thank you to Michael for being so accommodating especially in such busy times definitely a 5 * service rating from us.

Having paid my deposit I emailed Michael to book an appointment. He told me he was busy till the following week. Since then I have had no response from him and after asking for my deposit back over a week ago he has still not responded. Absolutely unprofessional and effectively he has now stolen £50 from me.

After doing extensive research on getting a snagging report done for my new build home, I came across MDR Inspections. I was first enticed by how fair the price seemed (a lot cheaper than other companies). I emailed Michael to confirm availability before booking on the website and paying the deposit. Michael managed to book me in on a date that worked well for me and I was then contacted by Amanda. She gave me a call prior to attending to inform me of the time she would be attending, how long it will take etc. Amanda arrived promptly on the day and carried out a thorough inspection of my property. She picked up on many things I alone would not have. She was extremely professional, friendly and even kindly offered to take a look at all of my move-in documents to ensure I had everything I might need in the future. Her wealth of experience and knowledge was reassuring. I received my report on the very same day the inspection took place! I paid the final balance and off I went with the report to my housebuilders (who are still sorting the issues on the list a month later...) All in all, worth every penny and would highly recommend this service for any first time buyers particularly of new builds!

We needed a report within 4 days and Michael went out of his way to accommodate us by coming early on a sunday morning. That in itself was greatly appreciated, he was extremely punctual and after 4 hours provided me with a detailed report, showing images for every fault found. I have to say it was worth every penny! The builders are currently working their way through it all. The report was 50 pages long and there is no way I would have identified all of these issues, I do not have the expertise and on top of that, it is so difficult when you have just moved in to really dedicate the time to it. Michael was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and I can honestly say that when you consider what you are spending on your property, I think these reports are an absolute must. Identifying faults too late could easily lead to a big bill by the homeowner at a later date. A fantastic service and I highly recommend!

I was recommended Michael by one of my friends who used his services for a new build. I am pleased to say I used his services on 23/02/2021. Michael arrived on time and sent me the snagging report straight away after he completed the survey. He picked up 115 snags, which I will be showing to the developer. I highly recommend using MDR Home Inspections.

Superb service from start to finish!!! The online booking system is easy and the report was in my possession before Michael even left my home! Having travelled half the country Michael arrived on time almost to the minute!!! He spent several hours preparing his report and my goodness I'm so glad I chose his professional services. This was money very well spent. From first contact to receiving the report Michael was professional, patient and courteous. He spent the whole day going through the house and bringing things to our attention. The report was received the next day which was very clear and concise. As a result the builder was at my door the following day looking to start on the list!! I am not sure that would have been the case if it hadn’t been for Michael. This was a first class quality service from Michael from start to finish. I would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone.

Really disappointed that the snag done for us in January didnt pick up that the incorrect lintels had been used in our new build. 7 months later we have picked this up ourselves and massive structural works need to be done. What has really disappointed me is that I have emailed twice and no response. I then called to be told there are issues with email but that I would get a response asap. And I have heard nothing since. I will be seeking a refund on the costs for my inspection as I am surprised this was such a huge miss. 0/5 for responsiveness.

First time buyers and we couldn’t have done it without Michaels help and guidance. Michael was quite flexible given the current situation that we are in and made himself available on short notice. He guided us through on how to negotiate with developers to try and get him in before completion and also went in at the time and date promised which showed professionalism and good business practice. The report turn around time was less than 24 hours which was fantastic as it gives developers more time to fix all the snags identified by Michael before we move in. The report we received was clear and concise with snags/ location and steps that were required to rectify the issues. We also found Michael quite personable and efficient he responded immediately to any queries raised and gave us his expert opinion all the way throughout. We can’t recommend Michael enough and wont hesitate one bit in utilising his services again in the future.

Nice guy good job. I have one qualm with you Michael. You sounded quite unprofessional when you tried to negotiate time and date at the last minute when I was already on a tight schedule. That made me nervous and I had to pay the deposit with another company just in case and I lost it.

Can't reccomend Michael highly enough. My wife and I weren't going to get a snagging specialist in as we thought we could just do it ourselves by using a guide I'd found online. We changed our mind when we spoke to our neighbour who told us that they had had to have part of their house rebuilt by the new build company as it had been put on wonky! Having never bought a new home before I didn't really know what was acceptable and what wasn't. Michael soon let us know that none of the issues at our house were acceptable and that we should get on to them to sort it out ASAP. Armed with Michael's report that showed 161 snags(!), we went back to the new build company and forced them to fix the problems. They've had to pay for us to move out for a fortnight as the plastering was so terrible. Wouldn't have had the confidence to do that without Michael's help. On top of that he's been happy to reply to emails I've had with questions about the manner in which the new build company have tried to handle our snags. Don't think about it, just get him in.

Michael was flexible when our completion date was delayed and then came down on a Sunday as he had another appointment on the weekday, which shows his dedication to his job. He's very professional and has great attention to detail and spent almost 5 hours going over our 4 bed townhouse. Definitely recommended, not only to save yourself some time but also to ensure you get someone who knows what they're doing.

Michael went out of his way to accommodate our ever changing schedule and was committed to delivering our survey at the best time for us, despite it meaning him travelling quite literally across the country. Michael’s eye for detail is impressive. Spotted things that we never would have until some months down the line.
