I don’t particularly like using middle-men as I would rather just deal with schools directly. However, once you’ve registered and signed up here, the application process becomes quicker. It’s not perfect but it’s a good place to find many jobs under one roof.

Overview, traditional Vietnam teaching jobs are almost the same as they were decades ago. Unchanged methods even Ss in basically elementary, secondary and high school levels. Merely focusing on grammar structures, assignments only, vocabulary vietnamese-translated having to be done and learnt by hearts of innocent students at all ages. All are causing big problems speaking, giving ideas, communicating socially. And a lot more!

I have a many times my applications to this company but not got any teaching jobs. I have been teaching English in the Australian Scotch Center, Bright Horizon, VietAction & Talky as a cover Teacher. Last September I was a cover Teacher almost every day in the morning and afternoon time in Public Schools covering again. Now I'm Teaching in Apollo as a cover Teacher every evening. Your company hasn't never offering to me a teaching job. I have Barchelor certificate, Technical School certificate (an engineer of electronics) & a TEFL. I'm married with a Vietnamese woman and we have a daughter. I have a resident card. During my teaching years in Hanoi I never haven't cancel a lesson on the contrary i have covered young teachers when it's raining, they're sick (a little flu) or the're tired after parties. Only thing or let's say an information what I have got from your company that I should have a TEFL and I have it. I'm from Finland and I can speak 3 languages because it belongs to our education starting in Primary school. I think I'm the highest educated teacher in Hanoi. I can say also to you that my wishes concerning salary isn't 500.000VND / hour or more. I'm satisfied if I get 450.000VND/ hour or 2100 dollars / month. I don't care is 80 or 100 hrs that have to teach. That's all so far. I only want to teach English, Math, Electronics, Finnish in the day time.

OK for finding jobs, but it's a horrible user experience. It's hard to navigate and sooooooo slooooooooow. Pages take around 20 seconds to load. It takes about ten clicks to get to the place where you can edit your page, and just takes forever. You also can't upload single photos so you have to delete them all and upload them all to change just one. Everything about it is so slow to use it drive me insane. When I worked in tech 7 years ago there was a saying: slow is the new downtime. VTJ would do well to realise that.

There's no response as to the status of my application. If there's an application, your company must reply to the applicant if he/she is accepted or not accepted. For sure, my application was not even read.

I only gave it 1 because there is no zero. Staff member ngo kim Nguyen contacted me and was embarrassing. I ended up having to ask if she could read English. Her opening question was Are you in vn? Tourist or business visa? Trc and wp Send me your papers you used to get trc... NO. What can I do for you? ... I dont know . You called me. I told her where I lived etc. So where do you live? I told you already? Are you a teacher? .. I told you already How long you lived in Vietnam? Told you already. Finally ... Em... do you understand English? Ummm.. we will call you if we have s job available. Just an awful experience.

Unprofessional as almost all supposed job services in Vietnam. This one, in particular, ask u a lot of information and, even all they already have, still asking u stupid questions as they still don't know anything about u. Bored with them after 1 week. Never found a job with them but only by myself (4 years experience with Master degree and certificate 150h). You should work with real schools and not the fakes one as Apax English. Note: of course the fake excuses are because we are actually with Covid-19 (that is not explain before we wasn't) and they will train better their staff. Blablablabla again. Funny. Btw I didn't say I don't have a job, i told u i found without your help it's meaning than actually i have.

The website looks cool itself but there are a few things missing for me personally. They are: 1) There’s no status of my applications. I can’t see if my resume has been seen or not. I can’t see if it’s been declined or ignored either. Well, maybe hasn’t been seen by anyone haha. 2) There must be a filter for non-natives. Most of the jobs I check require a teacher to be from an English speaking country. So I would like to hide them and check others. In some vacancies they accept teachers from “other” countries apart from English speaking but when I use filters there’s no “other” country choice so I can’t find suitable vacancies this way either. I hope you improve it soon. The second suggestion is really a must have thing.

I was contacted about a few good jobs but unfortunately with Covid their "sort it all" induction was just too expensive for many TEFL teachers.
