I bought the lock and cable because they were listed as high security, but some kids were able to cut the cable first try and nearly stole my brand new bike. The lock I got seems great, but you shouldn't advertise the cable as high security, it's not.

I paid a lot of money for a great lock. But then I was slapped with HUGE fees from UPS to import to Canada. UPS charges based on "value" not weight. I paid 27 dollars in excise to the government which is reasonable but over 100 dollars to UPS which kinda pushed the lock into crazy pricey territory (over 550 CDN). But I feel like its still a good investment for my bikes.

They sent two parcels from UK to Europa, and somehow, they managed to make me pay almost 45% of my order bill in taxes (more than 300€ of cash duty for a 500€ bill). I tried to spoke to them about it, they didn't answered to the phone, they responded late to the mails, they didn't provide any meaningful way to fix or understand the issue. DHL said they did the wrong declaration but on their side they said they did everything the right way and that the amount paid in cash duty was expected! I opened a litigation with DHL, I'm waiting for news from them. But never again I will order something from Hiplok. To be clear, I ordered something from Tailfin from the UK, and it went perfectly fine! I had no issue at all.

Ich musste leider eine Zoll Gebühr zahlen... Diese belief sich bei 30 Euro. Bisschen viel für ein Schloss finde ich, ansonsten hätte ich auch hier in Deutschland mir eins besorgen können. Werde nicht nochmal bei euch bestellen.

Ordered on-line. Delivery on time. Nice to order direct from the manufacturer, not via Amazon. The basic hiplock is an excellent product, have used across Europe for a couple of years. Not too heavy but secure.

The delivery is way to long and I still dont have my product. My first and l my lost time Hiplok.

I installed two Airloks this weekend in my garage, and they look great and indeed seem quite secure. However, two issues temper my review, one easy to address and the other more challenging. First, I purchased two Airloks yet only just prior to installation did I learn it was possible to have multiple Airloks keyed the same. Because I didn't know that, I now must carry two Airlok keys on my pocket keychain instead of one (and Hiplock keys are large), something that could've been easily addressed by making same-keyed Airlock duos an OBVIOUS option on the website. Second, installation is designed for masonry walls, whereas my garage required improvisation because my garage wall are of lumber and sheetrock. I spent another $125+ to purchase special security lag screws installed with a unique driver bit and then bolted a 2x8" board across three studs and mounted each Airlock on a board withe the security screws. Unfortunately, it was not possible to bolt both ends of the Airlok into studs because of the 12" spacing for the mounting holes (vs 16"-on-center studs). A mounting plate spaced appropriately for lumber studded walls would be ideal and obviated my need for the 2-8" board. Nonetheless, after painting the garage wall and boards a designer grey, my wife is thrilled with the appearance, and I'm confident that my trusty custom Ti bike is secure and my soon-to-deliver custom carbon dream bike will be secure.

I have 2 of the hiplok jaws at home. One holding my heavy hitting Enduro bike and the other holding my hardtail. Awesome for getting the bikes out of the way in the bike cave. I highly recommend the security tie for them so if your tire loses pressure it won't fall out. And the security ties are a breeze to use.

Excellent product, great customer service. Replaced 2 locks worth over £300 with sympathies and no questions when my bike was stolen.

The general quality of the lock is not too good. From the distance it looks fine, but closer inspection reveals obvious lack of quality. It's only related to the visual aspect, I didn't test the durability yet.

Fitted two Hiplock Ankr wall/ground anchors. Great product, works well and really easy to install. Was delivered quickly. Good value.

Recently purchased the very solid D1000 with a cover. A very well-made lock and fitting cover. I feel safer knowing my bike is secured using the D1000. Quickly shipped to the Netherlands.
