United States | 23 February 2024I was given a quote to ship my car, and then before it was scheduled for pickup "Mike" changed the price to 2.5x what was quoted. There was no mention previously that the price is subject to change, but he claimed that he couldn't schedule a transport for less due to the cold weather. It was February. Wouldn't that be something to be expected? After refusing to pay the new amount, we negotiated back to what I felt was more reasonable which was still about 50% higher than the original quote. The actual transport of my car was smooth with no other issues.

Then when we had issues from the pickup (no fault of this company), he was able to reschedule a new transporter for us on Monday. He worked and negotiated quickly.
