Its very long winded to create a game, the app itself is NOT very user friendly, its fiddly and you can easily click the wrong button. On the "create a game" page as you have to scroll down to save/move on to the next stage and it doesnt allow you to do this, which is really annoying, you find yourself deleting/cutting what you've typed to then have to paste it back in to move on... its a real pain. The admin team must also get kicks out of cancelling games you've taken ages to create as instead of asking you if you've made a typo they just seem to be keen on finding errors in your advert and deleting your game no questions asked. Then message you afterwards to tell you why, but totally ingore your questions afterwards... I asked why they didnt ask me if I made an typo error and I got a message saying that i ignored them requesting a profile picture! all in all, its a lot of aggro and i would avoid had I known the above.

Really great app for bringing people together to play football! Can be an outlet for peole to escape their stresses in life and just enjoying moments with other people. I'm glad it has such a wide reach and I hope the reach keeps growing for lots of other people to get involved

Nice and easy going way to play football in Birmingham. Not ultra competitive, fun way to have a kick about whether you turn up with friends or on your own. Highly recommend!

Great concept and great way to meet new people. I love playing football so being able to pick and choose when to play is the best thing ever. Everyone is always helpful, friendly and follows the rules. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Loved the idea from the first time i learnt about it back in 2013. The service brings together casual football players, game organisers and local venues in a positive and friendly atmosphere. What a way to meet new people, especially in large cities!

Really great app, having been using this in London for a long time and in Birmingham for the past 3 years. I’ve recently moved to Leicester, which now thankfully has FootyAddicts! If you struggle to get together 10 friends to organise a game, but want to play regularly or if you want to supplement your Sunday league games with football in the week or weekend then this is for you.

Joined footyaddicts after moving down to Birmingham, found the whole experience very welcoming and still play regularly. I find it great for all abilities and the hosts have been nothing but helpful and all inclusive. I will continue to come down regularly for both the football and the people.

Great Platform for players to meet and play quality games

Easy to join and lots of games to choose from! It's a simple idea but works so well. I've been playing Footy Addicts games for a few years now and met plenty of people who were in the same boat as me. It can be daunting to join on your own but I can't recommend it enough to anyone wanting to play football!

I've been playing football since I was a little kid, and it's always helped me get my brain back on track. It's not just the running around and the sweat—it's also the mental part of it. I used to play all the time when I was younger, but as I got older and started working more, it became harder and harder to make time for sports. I've wanted to get back into it, but I haven't found the right time or place. With footy addicts, I can finally carve out some time for myself and join games near me. I have also met many lads whom I can now call friends. Such a brilliant idea and definitely deserves more recognition!
