It's very dangerous to play with people you don't know. There are dirty players who can cause serious harm and there is no filter for who join the games. I have seen an ambulance arriving to take a player to the hospital with a broken foot (twisted in 90 degrees to the side) and I myself had to get surgery after being kicked from behind and will have a disability for life. Better to play with colleagues or mates you know well. Stay safe

It’s 50/50 whether your get a good game. They use fake accounts to boost numbers in games. You go to a game thinking you have right numbers when you don’t. Which is a shame and waste of money

I have to write in response to the two negative reviews, which both mentioned Paradise Park in Highbury. I've played in probably a hundred games - almost all have been very friendly - across half a dozen Footy Addicts venues. And it is true that Paradise Park can be somewhat feisty, probably because it's a smaller pitch in a more compressed space. However, the vast majority of games are enjoyable and safe, because the vast majority of players are on the platform to play good football.

Honestly footyaddicts changed my life. For someone who is soo addicted to football I never used to play it much, I only watched it a lot. This was because I never found anywhere to play. Once I found out about Footyaddicts I’ve never stopped! I’ve played nearly 300 games in 2 and a half years since I started and it’s opened so much more pathways for me now i.e I’m now playing competitive football for a team of whom I met at a footyaddicts game. Couldn’t recommend Footy Addicts more highly - pitches are always good, organisers manage the game well, a decent standard but not too serious. Perfect app for those who want to enjoy a game without the commitment of signing up to a team/ tournament!

Footy addicts is a brilliant app and platform for the arrangement of casual pick up football matches. I have been using it for over two years as a participant, organiser and now match runner. Payment is handled quickly and easily. Matches are run by eager individuals and the quality of games is always reflective. I couldn't recommend it more.

Great idea but the non attendance issue needs to be looked at. I can only speak for Play Football at Shepherds Bush but twice this week I've turned up and there have been 7-8 players. Today there were another 3 last minute no shows, only 2 paying players turned up. I understand people pull out but If youre not getting people then just cancel the games at the venue

Footy Addicts provides an incredibly easy and straightforward way to get yourself involved in casual games of football as and when you wish. For anyone who loves to play football, but who doesn't have a regular team to play with, this is for you. Living in London particularly, you have an abundance of choice for both locations and times to suit you, all at a reasonable price. The website is so simple and user-friendly, and I love that this platform requires no sign-up fee, no Facebook log-in - everything is done on a pay-as-you-play basis. The only potential downside is that sometimes other players are overly competitive, dampening the atmosphere somewhat. Usually however, the people are friendly, and the experience is very positive! I would particularly recommend the venue of Evelyn Grace Academy in Brixton.

I arrived in London in Oct 16 for a 2 year military posting and started playing with Footy Addicts after I discovered Danny via Gumtree!!, story for another day!, enjoyed playing at various venues, but Archbishop's park and Evelyn Grace stick out, varying standards, but mostly a v good standard which suited me, I left in Sep 18 with a heavy heart, but every cloud has a silver lining and I'm coming back in Jan 21 for 2 more years and can't wait ⚽️⚽️

Love this app because I'm able to get my weekly dose of football from it, before them I had to travel very far to play with my mates so didn't play regularly. The best games I've played have occured at Archbishops park, it's a quality pitch and has quality players so there's a high standard. There's a vast choice of quality 4G pitches and players who tend to be decent more often than not.

Great set up and reliable website, easy to find games to jojn and so much choice any time of the day. This is my go to for when I want to play football.
