I use spyfu for my research for organic as well as pay per click campaigns.

If you know what to do with this data it is invaluable. Amazingly clean interface. One of the best websites i've ever used, without even getting in to the data.

There's so much in SpyFu that I'm just starting to really understand and apply all the information. But even someone starting out is going to get indepth insight and very useful tools.

I love the information that SpyFu provides, but there is one problem that is pretty major for me. The screens and the report are filled with pre-selected competitors. In our case, our business serves a pretty small geographic area. We're in Texas. SpyFu's listed competitors are all over the state, and no one will drive 800 miles for our product. So the "competitors" aren't truly our competitors. I would like to be able to specify and save our competitor list, or at least specify the geographic area to target. I got an awesome report in email this morning that was nowhere near as helpful as it might have been if it had true competitors listed.

I love the data you collect, but hot-damn is it labor intensive to get the correct/best story for my client's SEO purposes. The good part, is that I know it's in there (somewhere!). The bad part is that I need to really dig to find it, and then I need to make it 'digestable' and relevant to the client. Just as a comparison - when I log into Google Web Master Toolset, I use their search analytics to get easy, digestable search info that I know is pertinent to them: impressions, clicks, positions, and queries. A cute graph that's all about them and I have a great story to tell in a single data export. With SpyFu, I get a LOT more data - mostly competitive - which is helpful in some ways. But for my purposes (and my clients) I feel like I need to dive into a bunch of different areas to find what I'm looking for. When I find it, and I know it's there, I typically love what I see. But the process of getting there detracts from the efficiency of the toolset.

Great site which has helped me a lot. It is a bit lacking on directions & information as to how the site works and what it can do for me. Glad I signed up for it, but it is taking a bit to get going. Tech did call and talk, but I didn't know what questions to ask at the time. I need to call again.

Overall, this is a great tool to use and get insights. However, the highest valued data is an additional fee on top of the monthly. Which SpyFu charges on a "credit" basis. You need to purchase credits to get the more in depth analysis. They should offer one free report in order for clients to determine if the data is worth the cost.

SpyFu is an invaluable resource in the web design and lead generation fields. The dashboard is user friendly and very intuitive. We are a digital lead generation shop and several of us use SpyFu almost daily and for different reasons.

Spyfu is awesome. I've been very impressed and have impressed many clients with the data that Spyfu contains. They have very informative blogs to help you use their software better but also how to sell to your clients by using the reports in Spyfu. The only issue I've had lately is their data is not as refreshed as I would like it to be. I did not notice this at first, I thought it was current. It has only been lately that I've noticed the data not being very current. Other than that, I don't question spending money on Spyfu's service. I highly recommend at least trying Spyfu out, they may get you by the hook as they did me.

As an SEO and online marketing agency we have tried using countless numbers of software and SpyFu has proved to easily be the most valuable. I don't normally write reviews for companies but after dealing with their wonderful customer service, which is usually a dreadful process for any online software, I had to share the experience. I would highly recommend for any company which cares about organic or paid rankings as well as competition research.

Spyfu has a lot of awesome tools to get info on competitors marketing strategies. It is a little overwhelming at first, but the tutorials are good. They have chat and I even got an emailed l from them offering to call me and answer questions. I'm still learning but so far I am very satisfied.

This is more than just another keyword & ad scraper. The rich data is very helpful and goes back for 7 years. The algorithms that estimate spend and clicks are equal to or better than anything else on the market.

Everyone has been so helpful! The software is amazing! I am just starting out at this and the tutorials are extensive and very easy to follow. I would highly recommend Spyfu.com for anyone just starting or well along in their need for SEO and PPC

I was to download back link reports in PDF format. I contacted spyfu twice about this. No solution... Also the program just delivers US based data, you cannot drill into individual sates. Some of the competitive reports are just off. But then again it come up with some useful keywords.
