I can't recommend Bowei Strategy enough. While it may be taking some time for me to reach $100/hour, I'm not far from it. But, it's not just that kind of hourly pay. What I learned from Bowie Strategy was how to set up an online business; and on my terms and conditions. Bowie will give you the information, tools, and experience guidance but you need to do the work. If you're looking for a quick fix, this is not what you'll find. Instead, Bowie Strategy's team will give you serious, professional support with a great community so you can also learn from others on your same journey.

I have been with James Liu for a couple of years now. The Bowei Strategy is where I am at present.I started off at the Teacher's Intrepreneurship Group on Facebook. Since then, I've bought a few of his amazing programs. I was absolutely amazed by how practical the steps of the 21-Day challenge were. Don't get me wrong, it's hard work for a short period of time, but exciting and doable. I'm also inside his Inner Circle - which is invaluable to say the least. I first did his 21 Teacher Challenge in December 2022 and have been part of his inner circle community since then. I've done many of his free challenges and other programs he offers. I love how his programs provide clear actionable steps and support. I can't highlight enough how I love the support that he and his team provide! They are always there to answer questions, address concerns and support you on your entrepreneurial journey. Plus, the inner circle group has been an amazing community of other supportive teacher entrepreneurs. I've been a member of James Liu's community since doing the 21 Day Challenge in December 2020 and have taken several other courses from him since, most recently the very thorough AI Your Business Course. What James teaches is priceless: good solid business, marketing and sales principles. He is also an excellent coach, constantly challenging, motivating and encouraging us to learn, develop and most importantly take action. This is not a get rich quick scheme, nor are you likely to start charging $100/hr to your first clients! In fact you are encouraged to sell a programme, not take on hourly rate students. However I did immediately increase my hourly rate to $70/hr and started selling 10 week courses to all my new students at $700/hr. I wouldn't have had the confidence to do that without James' training. The difference with James is that he is teaching how to build a sustainable business, over time, with a lot of hard work and consistency. He does great work on mindset shifts as well! Perhaps the most telling indication of James' commitment and integrity is the fact that 5 years into starting his business he still shows up weekly, in person, in the group with new material, new challenges and support, despite having built a team of capable support staff who could do all this for him. That's perhaps the one downside, he updates the material as trends change or he sees an area to improve, so we have to go back and rewatch it, sometimes it's hard to keep up! James Liu is a rare gem in the online coaching world, he genuinely cares about our individual successes, and puts as much effort into helping his clients as he does into building his own business, which just shows us all what can be achieved.

I completed the 21 day challenge and wasted no time in joining the James's "Inner Circle" thereafter. Both have been great investments. I no longer spend 8 hours a day in a school, instead I work less hours from home and earn 10 times more per hour. Working with James and his team has been a life changing experience. James Liu is a fraud. He says he can help teachers make over $100 per hour, but his strategies are accommodating to only the American mindset, and as language teachers we like to work with people who speak other languages, so the American ways are not the way we need to advertise, and therefore his ideas don't work in reality. He has misled so many of us. He is a predator, and desperate, innocent teachers, who are only making enough to barely survive, we are the victims. I tried telling him his strategy doesn't work, but his staff berated me, and he keeps my image up as his advertising even though I withdrew consent. Also, he doesn't understand teaching at all -- he says "you can make $100/hour!!!", but the truth is, that as a teacher, planning takes as much time or more than the actual lesson. This means that if I charge $100/hour for a 1 hour lesson, then I'm only making around $33/hour if I limit my prep and homework review to 2 hours total. Lastly, when paying for his cheap service to get our "in", his payment partner is non-compliant and our credit cards are compromised all the time!!! James Liu is a scam artist, not to be trusted!!!

I just completed the June 2020 "Teacher Entrepreneur Challenge" and am extremely happy I did it. The challenge is aimed at people who already teach or want to teach English as a foreign language but also want to earn sensible money whilst doing so. General ESL teaching is notoriously low-paid by virtue of the fact that it is so competitive, whilst the challenge focuses on niche teaching which is less competitive and therefore can command better rates. The challenge focuses not on how to become a teacher - you already should be comfortable enough to teach and preferably possess at least a TEFL certification - but on how to market yourself to a niche. The idea here is that niche teaching is far less than general teaching. The challenge is very hands-on and covers all aspects from deciding on your niche, through formulating your "pillars" and program to marketing yourself as a niche teacher/coach. The challenge claims that it is possible for niche teachers to earn up to $100 per hour, possibly more. I was initially skeptical, but several people on the challenge were already making good headway into selling their programs to clients who had no qualms paying such rates. At the end of the challenge, there is the option to do further training in the sales (as opposed to marketing which is covered in the challenge) process. I am doing that at the moment and as with the challenge, it is very methodical and hands-on. Both the challenge and the sales courses are exceptionally good value considering the extremely high quality of the content. The guy behind Bowei Strategy and the Teacher Entrepreneur Challenge is James Liu. James is very knowledgable in what he does. He explains everything clearly and logically and almost nothing has been left to chance. Having done the challenge and am progressing with the sales training, I feel considerably more focussed and energized towards becoming a specialized ESL coach. I now know which niche I will concentrate on, and I no longer feel incapable of doing sales or marketing. James really has equipped me with all the necessary tools and knowledge to successfully set myself up as an independent ESL coach earning a sensible wage.
