I've been using Kite for years and the service has always been excellent. Today I placed an order, realised I'd made a mistake, and within 2 minutes(!) of emailing it I received a call to give me options about how they could fix my mistake. Very impressive.

The boxes arrived damaged. There was no outer packaging. They were wrapped in a clear wrapping film. The boxes are not sturdy enough to post a poster in them. A round milling tube had to be inserted to protect prints otherwise they get smashed but Evri. Still cheaper than using Royal mail shipping.

Good boxes at good prices ordered twice now and both times been ok. Would be nice to be able to get samples of a few sizes though before ordering to see which best meets needs, was just refused when asked.

I intended to update my delivery address before placing the order but didn’t realise I was only changing the billing address instead. While the option and notification exist, the user journey is poorly designed. A fundamental User Experience principle is that if user errors occur, the user journey should improve — not blame the user and take no responsibility. Unfortunately, Kite does not adhere to this principle. I was willing to reorder at my own expense, acknowledging my part in the error, yet they refused to cover the delivery costs for their part in the poor UX design. Disappointed to have wasted my money due to their flawed UX. User Experience and Customer Service aside, their products and their prices are very good.
