I ordered 2 mattresses from mattress.ie. I was really worried about the delivery due to the bad reviews. Very happy - got exactly what I ordered and the delivery showed up exactly when they said they would.

We ordered a mattress off of their site on the 25th of September. We're in Cork, so we arranged for the 48 hour delivery. We were charged the full amount of the order to our credit card on this day. At day 3, September 29th, we contacted them by email. We got a response the same day saying it would be delivered "early next week" and that the driver would contact us to arrange the same. I asked about the 48 hour delivery and they said the type of mattress (European Double) could only be delivered early next week. Next week came and they didn't contact us. What followed was 3 weeks of calling them and emailing to try to get a date of when they would deliver the mattress. It was always the same answer of "early next week". Finally today, October 19th, we called again on every number they provide and went straight to voicemail or customer support never picked up. We sent an email to cancel our order and are now disputing the charge with the credit card company. Please avoid mattress.ie. They should not be in business due to the way they repeatedly lie to their customers.

I ordered a mattress topper and I am very pleased with my purchase. My delivery was delayed by a few days and nobody contacted me beforehand so I was worried after reading these reviews here. But all worked out well in the end, delighted with the product!

Ordered 2 custom mattresses and had to chase them for 3 weeks (after the 2 week delivery date) so I could get them. Spoke to "Frank" 3 weeks in a row on every Friday asking about the whereabouts of the mattresses and every single time I was told "there are on their way to you, just left the warehouse or are with the delivery van or they will reach you by the end of the day". Had the bunk ordered and assembled for the kids and no mattresses. For a week they could not use the bed, we were gutted as this was long awaited by them. As I was getting nowhere with "Frank" I finally sent the customer service an email demanding for my product and highlighting they are in breach of my customer rights and I was ready to take the matter to the authorities. Guess what, I got the mattresses by the end of the same day. Now the way they delivered was appalling, no phone call to arrange or inform me of delivery date/time and the mattresses were left at the side of the house in rain (they were wrapped in foil). No damage was caused to the mattress and they didn't looked at a first glance to be used but they were not in the vacuum packed condition they were supposed to be delivered and there was no measurements on them at all, just put in a plastic cover. They were clean and all but honestly we had to take the measuring tape out to see if these were even the sizes we ordered. I'm bracing myself to buy new ones in a little while now judging by the poor quality that some of the other reviewers are describing. Now I'm not one to usually write reviews of any kind but in this instance I felt a moral obligation to tell my story and advise anyone that is thinking of getting stuff from them to Avoid At All Costs!!!

Ordered mattress custom size for a campervan over 4 weeks ago. Delivery gurenteed in 2-3 weeks still no sign of it. Called up 2 days ago and explained what I needed the mattress for guy said he would chase up and call me straight back he never did. I called again this morning and was hung up on a few times before calling another number in cork and getting through to a different guy who told me he didn't ask me to cancel my holiday (what do I sleep on)was nothing but rude and unhelpful. I lost it cancelled order and demanded my money back. Customer service is very poor, as is delivery lead times. Looking at Google reviews I'm not the only person with these problems. Its a mattress platform website mattresses are reordered with companies in UK and its going to take a long time. I

I ordered a mattress with "next day delivery". Never arrived even after 2 weeks. Seems next day delivery applies to Dublin and only certain products but not stated on the website! I rang loads of times and got a very very rude man on the other end. A month later now I still have no mattress or no refund which I was promised at least 10 days ago. Seem very dodgy to me! They now have my number blocked and wont answer my calls. I am reporting them to the guards/ombudsman if I get no refund today

Made an order for mattress that was in stock with 2-day priority delivery. 5 days have passed without any contact from Mattress.ie. I tried the customer service number but it does not work so I rang the main number to be told they would ring back in an hour. I rang them again when I did not get said call-back to be greeted by the same person who then told me the system was down. When I complained and asked to speak to a manager, I was told that my order was now cancelled and if I didn’t like the service, I should go else ware.

I would give 0 stars if I could as people should really know what they are signing up for when they buy from this company. It was without question the worst sales experience I have ever had. For a bed and mattress that were supposed to arrive within 1-3 days, it turned into 6 weeks of phone calls and emails trying to find out what was going on. Every time I would be told by a man who said his name was Adrian that it would be with me by "early next week". On some calls he said the bed was in Dublin waiting to be delivered but on subsequent calls he said it was still in the UK warehouse. He was extremely aggressive on the phone when I asked what was going on and explained that I needed the bed for a family member who was coming to stay at the weekend (6 weeks after it should have arrived). Adrian hung up the phone on me twice and reduced me to tears. It was honestly the worst customer experience I have ever had and really shook me up. The bed never arrived and we had to cancel the order. Thankfully I had opted to pay cash on delivery but, even so, the wasted 6 weeks waiting for a bed that would never arrive was very inconvenient and stressful. I was fooled by this company and would like to warn others to reconsider before they sign themselves up for a similar nightmare.

I would not order from this business.I had to ring on a number of occasions to find out what was happening.I sent emails also.in the end they sent an email to say they were cancelling my order.Not very professional at all.Guy on phone is very rude also,would not recommend to anyone

This 5 star review is for the delivery men alone. They are world class. My address is very difficult to find and lots of deliveries end up at the wrong place. They were calling me from a UK mobile so I was ignoring all the calls as I didn't recognise the number. They persisted for 30 minutes or so. And I kept declining the calls. Eventually I picked up a call. I wasn't great at giving directions but they managed to find the place and they were really great about it. Unfortunately what was delivered was not what I ordered so I called them and asked them to come back for it. Even though they were out delivering other orders they agreed to come back and they refunded me the money I had given them. They really are world class delivery men. I looked up reviews of the company on Trust Pilot while I waiting for them to return and I was seriously worried I had been scammed. These guys are not scammers. They are very patient and kind. I think they may need to sort out something with the warehouse side of things and making sure the right products have gone out. But if you've ordered from mattress.ie and then read the reviews here and got worried. Don't worry. Mistakes happen with deliveries. But they will correct them. Thanks lads. You were so patient about everything.

First my delivery was late. Then I haven't been communicated they wouldn't look after fitting of new bed and old bed removal, despite paying for it. I've been told due to covid they would not be able to into people's apartments, fair enough but I was charged extra 100 euro. Delivery guys were confused and surprised and eventually told me to contact administration. I thought I should not be the one contacting anyone for this company not being able to hold this together, but I did as I wanted my money back. I had not received a response and had to email again. Eventually I obtained a refund for services I did not receive. Now, after 6 months my bed is broken. Sure these guys sell cheap products but quality and service wise they really lack. Not worth your money. Better buying at IKEA. Or just spend 100 euro more somewhere else, wasted money here, worst purchase of my life.

Not great. Had to chase up bed and mattress. Bed delivered but not assembled. Left with all the packaging. Salesperson should advise customers buying a bed that assembly is not included.

Bearing in mind C-19 and Brexit; Awful service. Poor quality bed frame, mattress ok, Terrible customer service. Misleading stock information. No delivery confirmation. Had to chase them for weeks for information... All a gimic! Get proper service ANYWHERE else...

SCAM : APPAULING, AVOID, just got off the phone with "FRANK" if thats his real name , mattress was supposed to be delivered yesterday or today, no confirmation as to time so i rang , was told he would get the delivery driver to ring me. THAT DIDNT HAPPEN , rang and was told oh its gone with Fastaway ill ring you with the tracking order in next half hour . THAT DIDNT HAPPEN , rang back and was told they were with a customer so i told him i would ring him back ,HE HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME 3 TIMES great customer service skills there boy! he eventually answered and told me he would cancel my order because i rang 3 times ....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now it appears to me Frank had no FRICKEN clue of where my mattress was, and had no interest in following it up either, FRANK has said he will email me within 15 mins to send my cancellation email. ill be waiting ........................................ and waiting on my refund to....he didn't even ask for my name or email address..... avoid avoid avoid avoid avoid avoid avoid

I ordered 2 beds off these cowboys, two 4'6" beds to be precise, one divan and a wooden flat pack bed. And in 2 weeks they came with the delivery, out came the first bed, the divan, and was left at the front door which I brought in myself, and when I went back to see where the second one was they had left without saying anything. Then upon completion of setting this bed up I noticed it looked small, so I measured it and was a 4 foot bed. The old 2 beds were also to be collected as they charged 80 euro to remove them but didn't. I decided to ring them to see what was going on here and upon telling him the situation, he said they don't take old beds because of covid-19 and because I took the bed out of the wrapping he wouldn't take the bed 4 foot bed back. So here's the best bit, when the second bed came, i removed it from the packaging and when I was putting the head of the bed together, the dowel hole and the screw hole were mixed up and can't be put together. The headboard for the divan bed never came also, what a shower of cowboys, stay well away from this company if you want sanity, reason and clarity.

Never use this company. The main man to deal with is incapable of listening or delivering a service. I ordered a bed and headboard which took over two weeks to be delivered. The headboard was not delivered and the requested drawer was not on either base. Two weeks later and multiple calls and they ended up delivering the base in a different colour and a different headboard. I accepted both as I was fed up dealing with this company. However the drawer fell apart on first use. Again another call to them where I explained that rather than having to wait in yet another day without working I would keep the bed and headboard but wanted drawer replaced. So today while I'm in work the original colour bed but no headboard arrived at my door. So they cannot listen not communicate with their own staff nor deliver quality goods. Their delivery drivers are extremely polite and accommodating as are the two women who answer the phones but do not purchase from these unless you can deal with the worse delivery times and poorest quality items

A word of warning. Make sure and shop around. They are riding on the crest of their famous name. Very nice staff, who told us prices could not be matched. We actually got the same mattress €150 cheaper less than 400 metres down the road!

Horrendous service and should be avoided..Received mattress 3 weeks after ordering. Still haven't received the bed surround to put it on after 6 weeks. Complete silence on email when I asked for refund and have no idea if I will be sleeping on a mattress on the floor over Christmas.
