I bought my mattress (Luxury Windsor Mattress (4'6')) 3 years ago. After the first year of my purchase, i started to feel the springs while i was sleeping, and consequently pain when i woke up the next morning. I tried to contact the company via telephone, they told me to send an email. I tried to send email, and the folk that replied to me just basically said that he did not understand my issue. I explained several times, and still the same. Then, i decided to keep going with the mattress, and recently it started to be unmanageable to sleep in the mattress. I started to sleep on my sofa bed, and i tried to contact these guys again. Again, lack of profissionalism, loads of calls without answer, and when they answer, it is unhelpful answers. Then they ask me to send an email, and i did it, and no answer in the last weeks. Definitely i do not recommend these guys, they are not cheap (i spent 275-300€ on my mattress) and the quality is really bad. It would worth much more go to Ikea, but your mattress there, for almost the same price, and much better quality and customer assistance. Peace.

I have ordered a matress via phone, shold have been delivered 6 days ago. Called the company, they said that "They are very busy, and that delivery will be the next day in the afternoon." Still waiting, no delivery. I am very disappointed and frustrated!!!

Of any service I have ever used, this was by far the worst. I ordered a mattress for next day delivery, and was told it would be here by lunchtime. After waiting around at home until 3pm I decided to call the company, and was told not to worry, the mattress would be there the next day and I would receive a call before they brought it out, and they would work around my schedule. I allowed this, as I know companies can sometimes fall behind. The mattress did not arrive, although I waited for their call, and ensured somebody was always at home for the following 5 days. After 1 week I called again, and when I asked why my 1 day delivery had now exceeded a week, the manager laughed saying "would you believe, he forgot to deliver it". I informed him that it actually was not that funny from my end, as I had been sleeping on a couch for a hectic week, which consisted of working night shifts alongside my college graduation. I also did not see how someone could forget to deliver a mattress, as they're not exactly the most subtle of objects, but did not pose this question for fear of sounding 'sassy'. I was told the mattress would be delivered the next day or the day after. Or the day after! When it was already 8 days late! As it happened, it was delivered neither the next day, nor the day after that. I called at 1 pm on the second day to ask whether my mattress was on the way and was told it could be delivered that evening. I told them that I would not be around that evening, as a friend was having a birthday party, and that I had been told it would be delivered that day. To this, the manager replied "well it's one o' clock in the day now", as though I was the one leaving it late. I told him that I had waited around at home enough times and that I was entitled to other engagements besides waiting for a mattress to arrive after eleven days. I was told my mattress would arrive the next day. When I called the following day, I was told it would arrive the next day. When I told them I would be working that day and that I did not see how I was not at the top of their list at this point, and how unacceptable their service was, I was informed that the other day he said he would deliver the mattress but I said I would not be home. Again, as though this ordeal was my fault. I told him that this was the first time in, at that stage, 11 days that I had not been available to accept the mattress and that I was now sleeping on a couch for nearly two weeks, so I would like the mattress either on this day or not at all and a full refund. He told me I was unreasonable to expect a mattress to be delivered the next day, which I don't understand, as I only expected this because this was the time I was told by him that the mattress would arrive! He agreed to give me a full refund, but I now fear I will have to hassle him to even get that. I also do not now currently have the money to buy a new mattress until that money comes through, so will be sleeping on the couch for the next forseeable future. All in all, this company did not provide ANY service, were outrageously rude, and showed zero signs of respect for their customers. I could not recommend this company less. I have never written a review to complain about a service before in my life, but I feel the need to inform as many people as possible to stay away from this company. You would be more efficient buying the materials from across the worls and assembling a mattress with your own hands than relying on these people to deliver one from 15 minutes away.

I ordered a mattress on the 13th September. The website advised 5 - 10 days for delivery. 3 weeks later and no sign of the mattress. I made a query more than a week ago about when the delivery would be and was advised by Adrian it would be early last week, which it never was. I then requested yesterday for the order be cancelled and a refund issued, but never got a reply.

I wish i had read the reviews about this scam company before i purchase a king size bed on 21st of August, 3 weeks after countless emails and voice calls i got a call from a semi-illiterate man, he told me i will get the mattress on a Saturday, nothing happened till this day ( 25th of September). I made the purchase through PayPal, i hope they will return me the money. Please to all people out there, stay away from THEM !

I ordered on this website on the 18th of August, paid almost 400€ for a good mattress with a fast delivery because I have awful back pain with the one provided by my new tenant. 21 days after I have no news of my order, tried to contact them by email, through the contact form, tried to call at every numbers provided several time... mattress.ie is just mute, it's impossible to know what happened but I have been charged for this transaction. I won't let them fool me, I am very angry. Never had such a bad experience with an online shipping, worst shop I ever dealt with.

We ordered a double bed, including a mattress. We were assured they would be delivered within two weeks. In the end they were delivered after three weeks and while the delay was annoying, it was not fatal. My main complaint is that we were told on at least three occasions that the the bed would be delivered the following day and it wasn't and in none of those cases were we contacted. My impression is that they have an impressive website but not much more. I won't use them again.

Placed an online order for a mattress topper and a pillow with the total cost of €240. Card was charged, but no confirmation page or email. Had to chase to confirm on the order booking. Online chat or callback doesnt work. It is a local delivery, but wasnt delivered or no update received on the delivery for 2 weeks. Had to call him for every 2 days. When I told him that I had to file a complaint, he immediately shipped the topper, but was delivered after a week. Pillow(€15.00) was not delivered yet. Waiting for more than a month. They are very irresponsible. Worst experience overall. Wouldnt suggest to anyone.

This is by far the worst company I have dealt with for customer service. I phoned to ask about ordering a divan base and headboard 3 weeks ago as we were moving into a new house. I was told I would get a call back about what stock was available but several days later after receiving no call I phoned again. This time I managed to get some information and I proceeded to order my base and headboard. I was told it would be delivered that week. After not hearing anything by Friday I phoned them and was told that due to the predicted bad weather that I wouldn’t receive my bed until early the following week. I explained that I was moving into my house on Saturday and I was told they would send me a temporary base which I thought was quite reasonable of them so I agreed. Saturday came and went and no temporary base arrived with no call to explain either. I phoned them the following week to check the status of my bed and was told it would definitely arrive this week. I then received a voice message later that evening to say my base was in but my headboard would take longer. I phoned the next day only to be told that actually the whole order wouldn’t arrive until next Monday or Tuesday. I asked about receiving just my base and was told that if I wanted they could have that out to me today. I told him that yes I would as I’m sleeping on the floor. He told me I’d get a call from driver an hour before delivery so I waited in all day and no call and no delivery. I’m still waiting on my bed and headboard to arrive. I’ve just had a baby and I’ve a bad back so if I’d have known that I would get this hassle from this company I would have ordered elsewhere. I just wanted to give my business to an Irish company and they seemed reasonable too but I would definitely not be recommending this company to anyone. It now looks like I’ll be sleeping on the floor until after xmas.

I went into Mattress.ie's store on Palmerstown Road. The sales person I met was very nice and helpful. He had even convinced me to go almost €250 outside of my budget for a superb mattress and base which I ordered that day. I left feeling very happy and looking forward to my new bed which I was told would be arriving in the next week and a half (a Wednesday/Thursday) and I would receive a call to arrange deliver which could be done at the weekend. -Now two weeks from originally ordering my bed (Friday) I had received no call so phoned myself to see if the bed would be delivered at the weekend as agreed. I rang a number of times but could not get through to anyone but I did receive a call back after 5.30pm from Adrian who was, in honesty, abrasive with me and preceded to inform me they had no record of my order. I explained everything to him and he said he would call me back in 5min after he had spoken with someone else. No call back so I phoned him at after 6pm once I found the order receipt which I thought might help. He just said he would look into it "as he told me earlier" and to leave him to it. Week 3 - Monday came with no phone call so I had to follow up myself again. After a couple of attempts I finally got through to Adrian again and had to explain the situation again as he could not recall our conversation on Friday. Once he remembered he said someone else was supposed to have phoned me to let me know where my order was at. But he did not know himself. I should point out at this stage that Adrian is the MANAGER. Again I was told someone would be in touch to let me know what was going on. Tuesday arrives with no call. I followed up again and was told I someone would be in touch by Thursday with a delivery date. Thursday arrives, I need to follow up myself again and am told that because of storm Ophelia due to arrive in 4days (next Monday) there would be no deliveries until the following Tuesday week (12days away). Seems odd but I was assured it would be delivered that Tuesday at 7pm. I asked a number of times for a confirmation call on the day to affirm it would be arriving and at what time. Delivery day - Tuesday week arrives and surprise, no call. I try contacting Mattress.ie from 2pm until after 5pm including sending emails through their website. Eventually I get a call back from Adrian after 5.30pm and am told he is on the boat on the way over from the UK...the boat was delayed. I asked a number of times why he did not contact me to let me know it was not arriving and that I could have made other plans had he had the decency to contact me. He flat out refused to answer my question. Final chance - I was promised the bed would be delivered the next day (Wednesday - almost five weeks later) at 7pm. I asked three times on the call for a call to confirm it would be arriving. Wednesday - No call 7.00pm - No delivery. Another evening rearranged and wasted Thursday arrives - I phone up to vent my frustration. I'm told by the lady on the other side of the phone that if I want to complain to a manager, it would have to be Adrian....no point there, but I was told my bed was in store and schedulled for deliver today. I did say someone could call me to explain what had happened, naively thinking there might be a good reason for the complete disrespect shown by Mattress.ie. Guess what, no phone call. Avoid at all costs!!!

Paid for mattress online and when l heard nothing from them after 2 weeks/10 working days l rang them for a delivery date. Told delivery people would be in touch but did not happen. After further chasing by me l was told there would be a delay as it taking longer to source the mattress. Then delivery driver calls me saying he is near my home and that the mattress l ordered had been damaged in transit but he had an upgraded mattress for me and would this be acceptable. l felt in a very difficult situation as he would be with me in a couple of minutes to deliver a mattress l knew nothing about. I stupidly but reluctantly agreed to accept alternative mattress as l was fed up waiting and if it was an upgrade then maybe l should accept this compromise​. Driver arrived (despite paying for 2 man delivery he was on his own) with mattress and took old mattress away. The upgraded mattress is unbranded and has a hard orthopaedic surface which does not suit my back. Although it says it has 1000 pocket sprung you can not feel them as there is no give in the mattress. Feel very disappointed overall and can only truthfully relay this in my review. Reply to their response: I did not want an upgrade and never requested such. I just wanted the mattress l ordered and paid for delivered in the time you advertise on your website. It is totally unprofessional to ring someone when you are a few minutes from their home and put them in such an awkward position as was done. Ordered a double bed for my Dad from beds.ie with no problems and cheaper than you. Very strange interpretation of good customer service. Please avoid the hassle and disappointment folks!! Update 23/6/17 11:40am: Mattress.ie rang me and in what l felt was an abusive and threatening call said that l should expect a solicitors letter in the post over my review. Said l stated that the mattress was not 1000 pocket sprung and mattress was unbranded. I told the angry caller from mattress.ie that the first assertion was untrue if he had read my review and as to the second allegation l restate that the mattress was unbranded and more importantly it was not displayed on mattress.ie website so l could read a description.

Spent over 600 euro on 2 matresses and both persons sleeping on matresses ended up with awful back pain. Rang the shop and was told to turn the matresses around as they are memory foam. This did not relieve the back pain (which neither one of us have ever suffered from). Rang the shop again and was told it could be the slats on the bed....which are fine and never caused pain with other much cheaper matresses. So so disappointed. The manager said he would phone back "in a minute" and three days later I have heard nothing. I would not reçommend them and will never go to them again. I will have to fork out for physiotherapy now to realign my spine...get these matresses taken away and fork out for 2 new ones. subsequently thanks to mattress.ie for coming to an amicable closure. compliments to van driver niall for being most obliging and accomodating. thank you

had bought a mattress almost 3 years ago paid 750euro now have back problems and mattress is bent what unusual was asking any help from a worker in a shop today cos a warranty said 5 years! didnt get at all even a guy was very ignoring to me! got a suggestion from him today to buy a new mattress then got a shocked 750euro pay every 3 years for a mattress ((((( very disappointed!!!! never go back again to mattress.ie NEVER

i just got a new living room suite of furniture 3 seater and 2 single seaters. We also purcahsed a new king mattress - The service was excellent and the delivary guy even helped us get them inside desite only getting kerbside delivery. He was dead helpful. I would have no problem buying from them again. their price are hard to beat elsewhere.

I have dealt with mattress.ie on a number of occasions and I can't fault them at all. Sales staff are extremely professional, knowledgeable and their customer service is flawless. Today, I am so happy with my new double divan bed, which was excellent value for money and just what I wanted. The delivery driver was prompt, arriving when agreed and so friendly and helpful. I have in the past and will continue to recommend mattress.ie to all my family and friends.

Mattress was ready for delivery within 24 hours of ordering = great sales service. Wrong mattress delivered on 20th December. Emailed them 3 times (20th December, 22nd December and 28th December). Now 2nd January so a lot of working days have passed in the interim and have still received no acknowledgement or reply to my emails = rubbish at after sales. I still have the wrong mattress unused in it's wrapping. Hopefully my negative review might provoke a response.
