United States | 27 October 2020I know there is a "crisis" going on right now, but their ads were less than honest, when I read it and paid for the course, there was no disclaimer stating that the course isn't complete. I want to think that this wasn't/isn't a money grab because the feedback I've had seems like an honest response with genuine concern. The first two Chefs seem like they have a lot going on, but the camera work in several of the shots was less than optimal missing key shots while the chef was demonstrating because of objects in the foreground blocking the work. When I signed up for the course, I had several weeks at home while recuperating from shoulder surgery and I was looking forward to filling the downtime. Imagine my surprise when I finished the offered courses on the first afternoon. I signed up for and paid for a different cooking course just to fill my time. I believe that YesChef is going to be a course that will be interesting and entertaining but I wish I hadn't bought it as of this date.

Singapore | 27 October 2020The content is a lot less than it seems like - before registering. One of the courses is basically inexistent at this point, and I registered specifically for that course, so I paid hundreds of dollars for content that is not relevant.

United States | 27 October 2020It’s definitely making me a better cook! Love the whole idea ❤️

United States | 27 October 2020The YesChef offerings are good, as far as they go. More classes are promised, but the currently available instructors consist of just three chefs. We also subscribe to MasterClass and the cooking classes there are both more numerous and higher quality. That's a better option for serious foodies.

United States | 27 October 2020Its ok, but as of right now, its not worth the money. As someone who has a subscription to both Masterclass and YesChef, Masterclass easily crushes this. First off, youre paying $150 for lessons from 3 world class Chefs and told others are coming eventually. Masterclass is $200 offers FAR more lessons plus classes to so so many other interests and hobbies, The idea behind YesChef is nice, but its very limited for the money.

Colombia | 26 October 2020I like it in general and have learn a lot From the different chefs in the site. However I hope my 1 year suscription doesn’t end Before I can get more info. Hope you do Something about it.

United States | 26 October 2020I am more reviewing what isn't there. Still waiting on more content and such. Have you thought of inviting David Lebovitz? Believe he is ready for a different venue to show his many skills.

United States | 26 October 2020the concept is great in that it provides true access into the homes and minds of the greatest chefs. the style in which it is shot is really thoughtfully done. however, it was launched with a shortage of content which is not fair to the customer. while COVID likely has had an impact from a filming point of view, they also possibly did not raise enough money for these start up costs or they are relying on a model where the early customers actually fund a meaningful amount of the start up costs. or perhaps both. if they dont fix this problem soon, there will be a churn of the existing customer base once the one year subscription period ends. I hope they can fix this issue soon as this has the potential to be something great.

Israel | 26 October 2020Love the concept and the variety of kitchen styles- but still a long way to go. Will they load new content before my 1-year subscription ends? I do hope so because the current ones as much as they are great they still don’t justify the price... looking forward!

United States | 26 October 2020I have MasterClass and watch a lot of Food Network so was excited about another cooking series with top chefs. Unfortunately, I found the quality of the few episodes available so far underproduced, sloppily edited and cheaply executed in comparison to all other options out there. It seems like they rushed to get some out when they weren’t entirely ready to launch the program. I won’t be continuing my subscription.

United States | 26 October 2020I love the concept but I just don't think you all are "there" yet. I keep clicking on the site hoping for more content and there isn't any. I also think the actual site needs a bit of an overhaul. It isn't super user friendly, locks up on story. You all need an actual home button that takes the user out of the content and back to the main menu.

United States | 26 October 2020Haven’t found this to be even a fraction as good as Master class or any of the free assets floating around cyberspace for cooks who want to hone their skills. I’m sure there’s some great stuff offered by your chefs, but after going through Nancy Silverton’s caesar salad, I have been disinclined to look much further. Give it another name... I won’t subscribe again.

United States | 26 October 2020The premise and the promise of what it can be is amazing and I was really looking forward to it. The chefs themselves are amazing chefs, however, very few of them so far are actually teaching you. As an experienced cook and baker, I found many of them just difficult to follow. They don’t explain their process/ why they are doing certain steps. Example: Chef Nancy does tell you oven temps cooking times measurements anything. She leaves you primarily in the dark and you’re playing catch up and rewind. True- for her segment there are notes on the bottom of the page but to me that seems like an oh no add it in after cause we messed up moment. I have never been so lost in my whole cooking career. Chef Erez is by far the best chef you have on this program because he is clear, engaging, and brings you into his process. I need more of him. What I would like to see from YESCHEF is the following- you already have the raw material and the clear talent ... refine it, organize it, and make it assessable to the home cook who may not know why you place the eggplant on a tray on the oven floor (I know why but others may not).

United States | 26 October 2020I totally enjoyed my first experience with yeschef. The content is great, the app is easy to use (once you quickly get the hang of it). I felt like I was a special guest in Nancy Silverton’s homes. Looking forward to learning more about cooking from people who are passionate about their craft, as opposed to the repetitive, mind numbing shows on food networks - that teach only that you wasted your time. 😎

Canada | 26 October 2020The concept is good but it feels like they have over promised and under delivered. I feel the initial price was high for the product actually delivered and had the impression there would be much more content when I signed-up. I hope it succeeds in the end but it has been disappointing for me so far.

United States | 26 October 2020I love the combination of the chefs' story and their recipes. Knowing more about the chef and his/her background makes the recipes even more interesting and delicious.

United States | 26 October 2020I was there for Beta testing, so have long ago gone thru all the videos and recipes. Quality product but too long between introducing new content....

Ryan Neale
United States | 26 October 2020Yes chef has good customer support but that is the only positive part of this review because the content is so limited it will only take you a short weekend to watch every video. This doesn’t mean that the videos are high quality though because it takes more than 3 or more weeks on average to convert the videos with color correction. I also haven’t seen new content for 3-4 weeks...
