Very good videos, price is ok. The food is great!

Terrible company. They will auto-renew your membership without letting you know and they do not make it clear that there is a renewal. Poor business. Don't waste your money with these scammers.

I bought an annual subscription as a gift for my son. He's super busy and just wasn't getting to use it much so I decided I would not renew it. I was hit with the auto-renewal which took me by surprise as I had been trying to cancel my subscription. Of course, there is no phone number to call so I pleaded my case in their little chat box. I got a prompt response and was persistent about my refund. They complied almost immediately. I'm not a fan of auto-renewal and I think it is the right thing not to trap people into something they don't want to purchase. Thank you YesChef.

Now new content in months - this is not what was offered

The classes are horrible. Honestly I haven’t learned anything. I am a professional cook. The teachers talk so much about BS. Everything is about bread. I was very disappointed and have not learned ANYTHING. To top it off. I took a 1 year subscription. And cancels the renewal. I got billed a couple days ago. After seeing it I asked to have them refund as I did not want it. They told me they can’t. I was shocked. It was since 6 days out of a hole year. I do not recommend this plateformto anyone. They have tried to copy masterclass, unsuccessfully. And have “celebrity chefs” that think they are on Chef s table instead of giving a cooking class.

It's all pretty bad. I watched Francis Mallman grill a steak and put guacamole on it. Then he put a steak knife through it and expected my mind to be blown. Its amateur hour at best. They auto-renewed me as well, and I had no idea,. When i asked for a refund they said they could give me a gift card. I said That i didn't want one because I thought the product was lame and I wouldn't gift it to anyone. Then they offered me a free year and a GC..... instead of just giving me my money back. They are obviously hurting. Don't buy this.

Extremely disappointing....Loved it at first. Great Chefs, great footage....However no new content in over a year and my subscription was just renewed without warning...Paid $180 for a new year with no new content which has been promised forever.....Thus, I just paid $180 for no product whatsoever.....Borderline Fraud....I have contacted the company to recoup my money....Stay tuned

***EDIT 1/11/23 They refunded me immediately and gave me a lovely gift. It was a mistake and they went above and beyond to make it right, and responded with lightening speed. I am impressed. All is forgiven. *** I unsubscribed last year and was refunded, and yet they just went and charged my account again for a subscription. How can I be auto-renewed for a subscription that no longer exists and was refunded as such?

I was gifted this from a foodie friend of mine, and have nothing but good things to say. Not only do I love the variety of courses offered (am really excited to start the Afro-Caribbean by Kwame next!), but when I had a bit of a problem getting started, the support staff was not only courteous, but quick to respond, and very helpful (special shout-out to Kevin)! I am so happy with this, and have already recommended it to others (and one of my friends already signed up). 5 stars!

dont waste your money, the coming classes never come. stick with masterclass. they dont respond to you, have to cancel auto renew through their chat lol.

But until now I do not have enough word to explain how was interesting get together with Chef Mallmann, A MASTER. I feel to go to Patagonia just now to meet him. Is the way of cooking of my dreams. I've had the worst costumer support experience ever ! There's simply no one answering you. You can't have a real conversation anywhere. I enjoyed the content for the first year, beautiful videos, but I had decided to cancel the renewal of the subscription that I found too expensive the second year. Not only have I been charged without consent. But I was willing to let it go for another year... The issue is that since over 10 days, I've had no access to my account, and no one is answering the chats ! They tell you basically, that they'll reply in a few hour, and those hours become days ! On August 3rd, I sent a message, and only on August 7th, did I get an answer ! It was a very short answer that didn't tackle my issue, and once they reply one sentence, you don't hear from them for another week ! We are now August 12, and no one has even seen my messages ! It's been over 10 days now, and I still have no access to my account, nor the content for which I've been charged 180$ ! And all that, with the total impossibility to communicate, to understand what's going on and have a real conversation ! It's a total shame ! It feels like I'm being held hostage !

I really wanted to like this program. I got really excited and jumped at the Netflix/Masterclass just for food. Unfortunately, they fell well short of delivering. 1, the classes aren't actually classes. It's more of a documentary where the celebrity chef talks about how much they love food, and sometimes you'll watch them cook but they don't actually teach you anything. The one exception would be the Edward Lee. His southern style cooking class is amazing which makes the rest of the "classes" so much more frustrating. 2, The lack of content is beyond unacceptable. I've had YesChef for almost 2 years and they've added a whole 2 new classes. Given point 1 above it became so forgettable that I actually forgot that I had a subscription to them for a while. 3, They don't deliver what they promise. I would love if YesChef were everything they said it would and could be but unfortunately it's not. Stick with MasterClass. They have more options, more chefs, and they do actually try to teach you something.

An exciting but limited array of chefs comprise the offering at Yes Chef, so I subscribed. What I have found is that: 1. The lineup is increasing, which is a big negative considering the signup fee. 2. The material is poorly organized in terms of making the lessons easy to follow and prepare - way too much clicking from one window to another when those windows could and should in most cases, be combined. It's as if the web designer's mission was to "look busy." I canceled my reservation and was offered an extra thirty days to try it out. I tried the extra time and have not found this subscription to be worth the money at this time, so I have canceled again. I'll check back from time to time to see how it develops, but until the bench is deeper and the site is more user friendly, I do not recommend the investment.

I love this app! Great chefs who really go in depth with techniques that will help you to become a better cook. Even if you are a chef like myself, you will find value in learning various international cuisines.

Besides teaching you how to cook professional dishes, YesChef has interesting and professionally created videos that give you a personal look into the personalities of the chefs and the philosophies behind their culinary art! This makes for an excellent gift for the foodie in your life!

My wife and I love these videos. Beautiful, great food, they are from very interesting cuisines and delivered by interesting people. We’ve made several of the dishes and they work out great. Especially loved Francis Mallmann, Ezra K and Edward Lee. Lee’s Shrimp and Grits is not a family favorite!
