United Kingdom | 06 May 2020Very very poor company and reading reviews below I can see I am not alone. I understand in the currently climate there are going to be delays, but i have ordered many parcels from other companies and all have turned up. I placed my order nearly a month ago for over £50 (I am self employed and have lost all my income due to this virus, so this is not a cheap amount! The tools were bought in preparation to going back to work after the lockdown lifts!) .. Delivery class 2-7 working days (I can understand it may be SLIGHTLY longer due to the virus) but literally i have not heard a thing. Items not arrived, no texts, no courtesy phone call to explain why the items have not been delivered. When I ordered there were no notices to say that the items were out of stock so that can't be the reason, but funnily enough they immediately took my money. I am phoning and phoning, lines are either busy or ring off the hook. I'll wait another few days but if I don't hear back then fortunately I paid via paypal so i'll start the refund process and get my money back through them. I understand the country is a bit upside down currently but quite frankly your customer service is dismal and i'd recommend everyone to STEER CLEAR of ordering from this company. ** THE 5 STAR REVIEWS ARE CLEARLY PEOPLE CONNECTED TO THE COMPANY, trying to pump their reviews up. Why tell people to ignore accurate reviews when they're accurate?**

United Kingdom | 06 May 2020Placed order on 27th April and it still hasn't shipped. Tried phoning and it never gets answered. Got response to email stating they are 2 weeks behind. Even considering the current situation this is totally unacceptable.If they are so far behind they shouldn't be accepting orders or at least warning customers before they place an order. Thy were however quick to accept payment. I still have to idea when my order will ship. I plan to raise this with my credit card company to see what assistance they cab give Per your reply.... ...delivery actually states 2 to 7 days on your website....my order has even been processed or dispatched after 10 days ... Update: 7th May Been informed via email that order will ship today.....will see if commitment holds

United Kingdom | 06 May 2020This company takes orders and payment and does not send the item. They ignore emails and phone is permanently engaged, presumably left off the hook deliberately. Do not order through this unreputable company.

United Kingdom | 05 May 2020Placed an order on 21st April with 2-7 working days delivery time. Tried calling ,no answer . Emailed ,to be told they are 2 weeks behind. I can understand that they maybe struggling due to the current situation. just a courtesy email explaining this would be put customers at ease. A week later still no sign of my item . Tried calling again with no luck. Emailed asking for refund. Not impressed.

United Kingdom | 05 May 2020Ordered 10 containers of Creocote in mid April and it arrived today. Yes it took longer to arrive but we are in midst of Covid. The staff at Sealants and Tools Direct need to keep safe and the Royal Mail staff do too. Very competitive prices and I would not hesitate to recommend and will certainly use again. I was alarmed to read some of the reviews about item not arriving. But its only due to Covid that things are taking longer.

United Kingdom | 05 May 2020I placed an order after lockdown had already started for products that were 'in stock' according to their website. Its now 3 weeks since placing the order and not even dispatched. Reason: they don't have the product and have only today confirmed this, previously it was all about low staff levels. The service is exceptionally poor and communication abysmal. Whats worse is that they aren't honest with you. One star is flattering for this company but its the minimum you can give Buyer beware.

United Kingdom | 28 April 2020Liars and thieves. I rang a week ago to check stock status before ordering. I was told what was available for immediate dispatch and I ordered accordingly. A week later there was no dispatch notification so I rang and was now told that they wouldn't be shipping my order for another week. If they had told me the truth I would not have ordered, now I am having to fight for a refund. Dishonest, unethical practice. I will never use them again.

Money straight out of my account and that where it ends. NO COMFIRMATION EMAIL NO RESPONCE TO MY EMAILS NO ANSWER TO TELEPHONE CALLS. Just don't bother with them.

United Kingdom | 27 April 2020On 16/04/20 I ordered some Sika sealant from them online and was quoted 2-7 days for delivery. On the 27th, 11 days later, they admitted they hadn't got it in stock and I could expect it by the end of next week. I've told them to cancel the order and I'll source it locally. They haven't got a clue, they appear to be a bunch of amateurs that can't keep up with stuff in the way things should be run on-line.

I have tried to ring the company but they don't answer their phone and I have e-mailed several times but they have yet to answer. I have asked for a refund but have still heard nothing.

Update ..Item never delivered ...no response to My eMails .....eBay refunded my money .

United Kingdom | 23 April 2020I understand how difficult things are at the moment, but not responding to e mails or phone calls is not acceptable. Even a generic global e mail to all your customers would help with an understanding about the delays and how long to expect a delivery to be. Maybe you could send an e mail out today to all your customers and put their mind at ease then you might not get bad reviews, after all nobody likes being ignored! I have used you in the past and not experienced any problems so I know you can do it.

Item ordered 16 days ago and no response even though money taken same day. Shame. Would rate zero if I could.

I get next day delivery with other companies , I receive orders from half way round the world within days so do not use or lie with the old Covid excuse . the short of it is they take your money and do not deliver your goods = SHYSTERS AVOID LIKE THE Plague
